Chapter 16 – Kaido's Mission (Part 2)
On Onigashima, Ragnar and Yamato were fast asleep after another round of educational classes with Kaido.
Just then, Kaido burst into the room.
"Worororo! Hmm? You brats, wake up! How long are you going to be lazy?"
His Conqueror's Haki flared.
Ragnar and Yamato groaned and woke up with irritation.
"You senile sea cow!"
"You disappointment of a sea dragon who can't swim!"
Yamato and Ragnar shouted.
Their Conqueror's Haki flared as well, clashing with Kaido's.
The world inside the room seemed to lose its color.
The wind howled violently.
Ragnar and Yamato weren't done yet.
As their Haki was pushed back, Ragnar transformed into Rayquaza and blasted a Hyper Beam straight at Kaido.
Yamato grabbed Takeru and swung it, releasing a white frost beam toward Kaido.
"Frozen Dragon Fang!"
"Wororororo! So you still got energy, huh? Then take this!"
"Eight Trigrams: Roaring Thunder Bagua!"
The three attacks collided.
BOOM!
The room exploded.
Ragnar shot upward.
Yamato followed behind as two transparent white wings appeared on her back.
"You brats don't think you can run from me!"
Kaido transformed into his Azure Dragon form and flew behind them.
Ragnar and Yamato exchanged a glance.
Ragnar continued flying through the sky while Yamato dove toward Kaido.
"Who is running from you?"
Moisture from the air gathered around her and started freezing.
In no time, dozens of ice crystals formed in the sky.
"Frozen Eclipse: Frost Shower!"
Ragnar also launched his attack.
"Meteor Shower!"
"Worororororo! You need more than that to take me down, you brats!"
Kaido laughed and rushed forward.
King rushed outside just in time to see Kaido charging toward Ragnar and Yamato.
Then he looked at the now-destroyed rooftop.
A vein popped on King's forehead behind his mask.
"Lord Kaido..."
He sighed.
He was speechless.
After some family bonding, the father-son-daughter trio returned.
Ragnar and Yamato had even more bruises than before.
"Worororo! Now that you have warmed up, listen up."
"I want you two to go and meet Hanafuda."
"It seems he has collected some Zoan Devil Fruits."
Kaido said as he started drinking from his gourd.
Ragnar and Yamato, who looked like they were counting their last breaths, immediately stood up.
"Youshiiiiii! Leave it to us, you grumpy old man!"
Both dashed out at full speed, laughing.
Kaido grabbed his Hassaikai again.
"You brats, watch your damn mouths!"
"Blaghhh! Stupid sea ox!"
Yamato stuck her tongue out while Ragnar bolted away, dragging her with him.
Kaido turned red in anger.
"You damn brat! Just you come back! I will give you extra special education!"
King looked at Kaido.
"Lord Kaido."
Kaido turned toward him.
"Hmmm? What?"
King thought for a moment.
"You have changed a lot."
He paused.
"No, the entire Beast Pirates have."
Kaido fell silent.
After a few moments, he laughed.
"Worororo! Then you must be imagining things."
Kaido shrugged and started drinking again.
Inside Shogun Castle, Hayori and Mariya were doing paperwork.
Just then, Ragnar and Yamato burst into the room.
Before either girl could react, they grabbed Hayori and bolted toward the port.
Mariya was left alone, completely confused.
"WTF?"
Soon, a ship sailed out of Wano.
Standing on the deck were Ragnar and Yamato with sparkling eyes.
Hayori stood behind them, completely speechless.
