Chapter 51 - Chapter 51: You Are My Greatest Reward

Although somewhat at a loss regarding Morgan's sudden, almost tantrum-like emotional display, Souya did not get angry because of it.

He understood that this was Morgan's way of showing she cared. It was just that their identities were knight and Queen, a relationship of master and servant.

Under the collision of tsundere psychology and emotional agitation, Morgan would always reveal her true feelings in front of Souya, showing a side like a little girl lacking love.

But Souya felt that none of this mattered. As long as he loved her, and she was willing to give a little response, it was enough.

However, after some thought, Souya felt he still had to go meet Vortigern.

As the person with the second most information in all of Britain, the one who knew the future and initiated a rebellion against the future and the world.

Souya felt that the other party suddenly calling to see him definitely had an important reason.

And considering the similar source of power between the two of them, this reason was mostly likely related to himself.

It was just that he certainly could not tell Morgan these things. She was already tired enough from various matters. As her knight, it was bad enough that Souya could not relieve her worries, but it was even more impossible for him to add to her troubles.

Then, before leaving, he should first coax his Lady Queen back into a good mood.

Harboring this thought, Souya followed the direction Morgan had left earlier.

As the person most intimate with Morgan in all of Britain, Souya naturally knew where Morgan would go.

Walking along the dappled castle corridors, Souya's footsteps finally stopped outside a stone archway. Stepping inside, what met his eyes was a courtyard planted with various colorful flowers, and the beautiful figure surrounded by countless flowers in the courtyard.

This was where he and Morgan used to meet at night. Now, it had become a forbidden ground belonging only to him and Morgan, a place the latter would come whenever she was in a bad mood.

Looking at Morgan standing alone among the flowers, lost in thought, Souya did not rush forward. Instead, he stood at the entrance of the courtyard, waiting quietly.

Before long, when Morgan pulled herself from her thoughts and instinctively looked back, she saw Souya standing there, having waited for an unknown amount of time.

Involuntarily, Morgan's heart fluttered slightly, and her eyes softened.

"Lamorak."

She spoke softly.

"I am here, Lady Morgan."

Souya's tone was as gentle as ever. In a daze, Morgan remembered that every time she called his name, he would respond with such gentleness.

Souya slowly walked up to Morgan.

His figure was tall; even with Morgan wearing high heels, she could only barely look him in the eye.

But in front of Morgan, Souya always kept his head slightly lowered, like a docile pet, or the most loyal servant.

Only this time, Morgan did not want Souya to be like before. Instead, she ordered the latter to raise his head and look her in the eye.

"Lamorak, you have followed me for so long. Is there nothing you want?"

After a long while, Morgan could not help but ask.

Hearing this question, Souya could not help but freeze for a moment.

He instinctively tried to read Morgan's eyes, only to see apprehension and conflict within them, along with a fleeting flash of possessiveness.

Souya thought for a moment. He did not answer immediately, but instead asked Morgan a question in return.

"Why do you ask this question, Lady Morgan?"

Hearing this, Morgan's eyes dimmed slightly.

"Because only today did I truly realize that you are too outstanding, Lamorak."

"Whether it was Arthur previously, or Vortigern this time, they both seem to thirst for your talents. Without a doubt, if you chose them, you would certainly obtain great glory."

As she spoke, Morgan's tone became increasingly dejected.

"Instead of just being a small knight here with me..."

"That is not true at all, Lady Morgan."

Hearing Morgan's words, Souya instantly understood why she would reveal such emotions. But the things Morgan was agonizing over right now were completely meaningless in Souya's own eyes.

Therefore, the latter decisively interrupted Morgan's words and said straightforwardly:

"In fact, long ago, you already gave me what I wanted and desired."

"What?"

Hearing this, Morgan looked up in astonishment. Her spectral-blue eyes were full of confusion regarding the thing mentioned in Souya's words.

She did not remember ever rewarding Souya with anything.

And under Morgan's confused gaze, Souya gently took her hand. Under the warm and gentle sunlight, he placed it over his heart as if holding a supreme treasure.

"To me, you bestowed upon me a physical body, gave me the will to live, and even allowed me to touch your incredibly sacred body and taste ultimate pleasure."

"Allowing me to become your knight, Morgan le Fay's knight. To Knight Lamorak, this is already the greatest and most irreplaceable reward in this world."

"How could I yearn for other illusory things?"

Feeling the other party's heartbeat transmit from her palm into her heart, Morgan's heart was once again fiercely touched by Souya.

"I understand, Lamorak."

Without any further words, Morgan reached out and grabbed Souya's collar, using the most passionate kiss to respond to the fervent emotions in the knight's words.

Souya lowered his head, half-forced and half-proactive, kissing Morgan.

One of his hands rested on Morgan's waist, while the other involuntarily slid across various parts of Morgan's body.

After a long while, their lips parted. Only compared to before the passionate kiss, a hint of crimson had appeared in both of their eyes, and their bodies had grown hot.

"Lady Morgan..."

Souya lowered his head and kissed Morgan's snow-white neck again, murmuring softly.

"I know, Lamorak. Right here."

Morgan tilted her head back, her slightly narrowed beautiful eyes overflowing with affection.

Thus, under the collision of two hearts, in the daylight, within this courtyard blooming with a hundred flowers, the Queen and the knight entwined with each other, intimate, scattering nourishing rain and dew for this fragrant garden.

At the peak of their passion, Morgan whispered softly in Souya's ear.

"When everything is over, I will crown you King Lot, Lamorak. As my husband."

[Ultimately, you still chose to accept Vortigern's invitation to meet him.]

[Although Morgan still maintained her dislike for this, she ultimately cast many Magecraft spells upon you as protection.]

[Clearly, she was a woman whose words did not match her heart.]

[And your trip to Londinium to meet Vortigern this time was not just to keep the appointment. As Morgan's knight, you also represented the alliance between Morgan and Vortigern, bringing him supplies such as weapons, rations, and horses.]

[After everything was prepared, you left Camelot once again under Morgan's watchful gaze. Only, for some reason, your longing for this place was even stronger this time.]

[Perhaps it was because Morgan had promised to marry you and become your wife after the conflict ended.]

[The journey passed without incident. After bypassing areas where you were highly likely to encounter the Celtic army, you and your convoy successfully arrived at the Vile King's territory, the White Dragon City of Londinium, also known as London.]

[At the gates of London, you once again saw that white-haired old man.]

[The Calamitous White Dragon, the Vile King Vortigern.]
