Zac lingered in the sixth-floor lounge, eyes drifting toward the elevator as the doors slid open.
Lima stepped out and walked straight toward him.
In the chief's office, he focused only on playing his role and keeping his act from slipping. So her presence had blurred into the background.
Now, with nothing demanding his attention, she became his only focus.
White blouse, black skirt, every line neat and precise. Glasses rested lightly on her face, her long hair pulled into a tight bun without a strand out of place.
Green sharp eyes. An oval face with an hourglass body.
Tall figure with long legs covered in black stockings and high heels.
Even though Zac tried his best not to, his eyes roamed over her body.
He literally scanned her from head to toe, and when his eyes landed on her hips, a bomb blasted in his mind.
He even tasted foams inside his mouth.
Before he could have been carried away by the moment, the system voice sounded in his head.

Zac immediately cleared his mind and sat straight.
[Have you never seen a woman before?]
"I have, but... she is in a different league compared to them."
[Nhaa...at best she's okay.]
"For a being with no body, you have very high standards."
A smug face emoji appeared on the panel.
Lima sat opposite him on the lounge.
Zac tried his best to not stare at her, but his body betrayed him; he took a small pillow from the side and placed it on his lap to hide his tent.
"Hello Mr. Godson, my name is Lima Martel. I will be assisting you in getting your license." Her voice is plain and emotionless.
She leaned forward and took the glass of water on the table, showing her full cleavage in the process.
The two-inch dent on Zac's pants increased to four inches.
The way she drinks the water, "My god..." the slow-moving motion of her throat on every small swallow.
The dripping of excess water leaks from the sides of the glass and lands on the bottom of the neck and runs down to her cleavage.
Zac's eyes were practically glued to her. The four-inch tent now reached its full size, and the small pillow is struggling to contain it.
She placed the glass on the table and looked at him. "Seen enough? If you want, you can see more."
"What?" The word slipped past his mouth before he could think about what was happening.
"Yes, the association building has a lot of features; you are welcome to see it all."

"So, how is your mother?"
All the sexual fantasies on his head disappeared from that one question.
He became serious and looked at her without answering.

Zac stood up from the lounge out of shock, his eyes filled with questions.

"Tell me everything you know." He said in a stern voice.
"First sit up, will you? And don't use that tone when you are talking to people who are stronger than you; not everyone will be as lenient as me."
She released her aura to suppress him, but it was negated by the divine aura of Zac.
She got surprised by it, and a small smile escaped the corner of her lips.
"Interesting"
This time she used her killing intent to suppress him, and it worked perfectly.
He dropped back into the seat with a thin layer of sweat surfacing across his skin. The woman opposite to him gave the same feeling he got from the serpent.
He lowered his head with dissatisfaction filling his eyes.
"You don't like it, do you?" He looked up to her eyes.
"The feeling of being weak and powerless."
"Good, keep that in your mind and strive to become powerful."
"Now about your mother, the poison in her body is powerful. The one who did it did it with the intention of killing her."
"She can be cured, right?" Zac asked with expectation and pain in his voice.
"Yes, but you need an 'A-grade' potion to completely cure her. For a newly awakened like you, even with 'SS-level potential,' it takes months to get."
Zac's face sank with despair; even though he has a system, the info he gets is completely random. There is no certainty that he would get a healing potion.
"Months? I don't even have a week to save her."
"I have a deal for you."
Zac looked at her in surprise. "Join the association, and I will give you what you want."

Zac stopped listening to the system and looked at Lima.
"Join the Association; I will give you the potion and also a skill with it."
"Why do you want to recruit me?"
"You are an 'SS' potential." She said with a straight face.
"Is that the only reason?"
"Yes. But first, I want to see you in action."

"Follow me." Both of them went to the elevator and stood inside the confined space, with each of them inhaling the other's smell.
"Why does she seem uncomfortable?"
[Because she is controlling herself from pouncing on you.]
"Once again you are being a pervert."
Stupid, did you forget about your skill, unmatched charisma?
"So, she has a soft spot for me? But why?"
"Should I ask her? No, let's wait till Mother is cured."
The elevator went deeper into the underground and stopped.
When they got out, Zac saw a portal calmly sitting at the center of an empty hall.
"You build the association on top of a portal?"
"No. We simply moved it here to give first experience to our newly awakened."
"Is it really possible?"
"With sufficient power, low-level portals can indeed be moved after clearing."
His gaze lingered on the swirling surface before she gestured toward the side. "The side rooms contain weapons and armor; go and suit up."
He picked a single-handed longsword and leather armor that covers only his chest and back.
He tried checking the info of the sword and armor, but nothing came up. "System, why is there no info?"
[These are just elementary items with no special properties; it is useless to show any info about them.]
He nodded and went back to Lima.
"Are you ready for your first portal diving?"
"Yes."
They entered the portal together.
Once inside, Zac saw the environment was completely different from the serpent portal.
It was calm, with a grassy field, towering lush trees with ripe fruits, and colorful flowers all around the place, with a fresh smell traveling in a gentle breeze.
"Is it a wrong portal?"
"Do you think every portal will be dark and scary?"
"Just like us humans, every portal is different; you never know what it will be unless you get inside."
"Remember twenty mana stones."
"I know..." When he turned, Lima was gone. "Where did she go?"
"So the test begins...ah, well, let's see what the portal has to offer."
Zack moved towards the forest, leaving the open field. Shadows of the trees covered the ground as he went deeper into the forest.
Suddenly he saw a movement in front of him; he stopped and slowly moved forward without making any sound.
He neared the place, stood behind the tree, and saw two humanoid figures with green skin and twisted features arguing about something with spears made from stone and wood in their hands.
"Of course it is a goblin. Why am I even surprised?"
Suddenly a goblin turned and saw Zac; he became panicked.
In a spur of the moment, he jumped forward and thrust his sword into the goblin's chest.
The second goblin saw this and aimed his sphere straight for Zac's throat, but Zac ducked at the right time and slashed the goblin in the stomach.
He then stood up and saw the dead goblins; he felt his stomach twisting and tasted salty saliva in his mouth.
After vomiting whatever he ate that morning, he went to the dead goblins and searched for mana stones.
[You really are a wimp. Vomiting just from that.] Vomiting emoji appeared on the panel.
Zac ignored the comment and continued searching the corpses.
[What are you searching?]
"Mana stones."
[Idiot, only monsters capable of using mana will have mana stones.]
"Why didn't you say that before?"
