The following morning employees at the Bellingham Holdings headquarters moved through the lobby with their usual professionalism but everyone could feel that something important was about to happen
Scarlett stepped out of the elevator, dressed in a luxurious tailored navy blue business suit and her expression was as composed as always
"Good morning, Miss Scarlett"
"Good morning, ma'am"
The employees greeted her as she passed them and she acknowledged each of the greetings with a slight nod before she walked towards her office
Jason was already waiting few meters outside her office with his tablet
"Good morning, ma'am", he greeted
"Morning, Jason...I hope it's a good morning?", she deposited sharply
Jason immediately fell into step beside her slowly
"Well, the committee is yet to respond"
"I know", Scarlett said sharply
"The legal department has finished preparing every document in case they request additional clarification"
Scarlett nodded once
