About half a year has passed since we safely announced the anime adaptation on April 25th, and I imagine that by the time this volume is released, information about the radio show, voice drama, and more will have been made public.
Normally, I would have liked to write about that in this volume, but it's quite difficult to do so at the time of this afterword, so I'd like to take a break from talking about the anime for now.
Everyone involved in the anime production is working hard for the broadcast, so please look forward to it.
With that said, I'd like to touch on the contents of Volume 8 a bit. The main focus this time was a double feature of the Christmas arc and the school trip arc. The first half, Christmas, was a complete lovey-dovey couple episode, including its developments. And the school trip arc included some extra-time-like elements from the contents of Volume 7.
It was a turning point for both Maki and Umi, as well as for Yuu, but I believe that they will surely do their best no matter what happens.
I will refrain from going into detail about it here, but… at this point, it feels like they have the momentum to bring a marriage certificate by next year. Even if they don't actually submit it, I'm sure Umi and Maki would be happy to fill it out and stamp their seals… As for that, I hope you can check it out in the next volume, Volume 9.
Finally, the afterword in the previous volume was a bit rushed due to page count, so in this volume, I would like to properly thank everyone involved.

I think there's only a little time left until the broadcast, but I look forward to your continued support until then.
