As mentioned on the wraparound band, a TV anime adaptation has been greenlit. Thank you very much. I apologize for the wait since the anime project was first announced in September two years ago, but I believe we'll be able to provide regular updates from now on, so please follow the official "KuraNika" account on X (formerly Twitter). The broadcast is scheduled for 2026, so I'd be happy if we can all build up the excitement together until then.
Now, for this volume, we're taking a short break from the main story to bring you a collection of short stories. Half of the content is a collection of SS from store-exclusive bonuses and the like, while the other half consists of three newly written, longer short stories. I'd been wanting to set aside some pages for an episode about Nina in particular, so I think this was the perfect opportunity. Umi and Yuu are their usual selves.
The anime adaptation has finally been officially announced, but as for the books, I feel like we've passed the halfway point and have come quite a long way. The next volume, Volume 8, will finally conclude the second-year arc, so I hope you'll look forward to that as well.
Let's all continue to build up the excitement for "KuraNika" together.
