Thanks to everyone's support, we've been able to continue releasing new volumes smoothly. Thank you very much.
It's been about a year and a half since the first volume of the series was released, and I'm very happy that it seems to have been read by more people than I initially expected. I've also received many letters of support, which makes me feel very humbled.
Please continue to support Maki and Umi.
By the way, this story's abbreviated title is "Kuranika."
Now, regarding this fourth volume, it's scheduled to be released around the same time as the second volume of the comic adaptation, which personally was the biggest surprise for me.
The first volume of the comic was released on March 1st, and the second volume at the end of May… that's strange, there's not even a three-month gap. I don't think there's a problem in terms of the number of chapters, but working on the comic version in parallel with the regular updates must be incredibly difficult, and I have nothing but gratitude for Ono Rin-sensei.
With that said, I hope you'll also continue to support the comic adaptation of "Kuranika."
In addition, related to the comic adaptation, a voice comic has also been released on YouTube. For this, we had Iwami Manaka-san as Umi and Ishiya Haruki-san as Maki, continuing from the PVs, and this time we newly had Suzushiro Sayumi-san in charge of the role of Yuu. Thinking about it, that's an amazing lineup of people. The entire production team is working hard so that more people can enjoy the work, and so that those who don't know about "Kuranika" yet can become aware of it. I would be happy if you could continue to give us your unchanging support.
This volume, too, has reached all of you, the readers, thanks to the cooperation of many people. Thank you very much.
To everyone at the Sneaker Bunko editorial department, and my editor in charge. Thank you for letting me write freely again this time. I'll continue to do my best at my own pace, so please stick with me if you would.
To Hyuuga Azuri-sensei, the illustrator. Thank you for the wonderful illustrations in this volume as well. Umi and Yuu, with a different atmosphere than usual, are very cute.
To Ono-sensei, who is in charge of the comic adaptation, and everyone at the Alive editorial department. I always enjoy reading the comic adaptation. I look forward to your continued support.
Well then, finally, I would like to conclude this afterword with the greeting I wanted to do the most.
This is all thanks to you, the readers. Thank you very much.
Well then, let's meet again in the next volume.
