Wanqing found herself saying those words without any form of hesitation, she didn't even think about how weird it might have sounded.
'Mine' Wanqing said inwardly, oblivious of the small smile she had on her face.
Qingyue frowned instantly, an emotion so ugly flashed through her eyes. Before she could respond, Wanqing had turned away and was now walking towards the door.
The second she stood in front of the door, the wooden doors slid open.
"I always get what I want, Wanqing." Xiao Qingyue suddenly said, making Wanqing pause mid-step.
Behind her, Xiao Qingyue's voice sounded softer than usual...yet, somehow it made her words sound threatening.
"Today won't change that."
Wanqing didn't respond, heck she didn't know what to say. She calmly stepped out of the room, the doors sliding close behind her.
Meanwhile, Anning was beginning to regret why she hadn't passed out from blood loss. The physician had already treated the wound and left soon after.
