Ryo stood in the middle of a dense jungle, far away from Konoha. The last fragments of his… unfortunate cursed flashback faded from his mind like a bad smell that refused to leave completely.
Just as he exhaled—
Ding.
A crisp, unnatural sound echoed in his head.
Ryo's body reacted instantly.
His senses sharpened. Chakra flowed quietly through his coils. His Sharingan opened, ready to activate ocular techniques at a moment's notice.
His first thought was simple: An enemy. A strong enemy. Someone had managed to approach him without being noticed. That alone was enough to make him serious.
But then—
a screen appeared before his eyes.
[Congratulations to Host Uchiha Ryo. You have been selected as the host of the Traveling System.]
Greetings, Host Uchiha Ryo. I am the Traveling System.
Ryo froze.
Not from fear. Not from danger.
But from pure, unfiltered confusion. For a brief moment, the jungle, the wind, even his own thoughts seemed to stop.
Then—
his mind exploded with realization. A system.
The legendary cheat of every transmigrator.
The golden finger.
The thing that arrives late… but always arrives.
A slow smile formed on his face.

Right now… I'm already strong enough.
He had trained since childhood. Fought ninjas. Killed old, young, male & female ninja's & even civilians. Survived wars where death rate is high.
At this point, he could go toe to toe with peak Madara and Hashirama at the same time. He would lose, yes—but not without forcing both of them to go all out.
That alone placed him at the absolute peak of the ninja world.
And as for future threats?
A faint smirk appeared.
Jigen… Isshiki…
"Dead," he thought quietly.
Killed by his own hands a year ago with the help of bloodmoon night members. Ryo even destroyed their soul so no resurraction through kama or rinne-rebirth.
Which meant—
there would be no Kara. No looming shadow. No hidden alien threat waiting to ruin everything. Except for black zetsu.
In a sense—
H0e had already cleared the "final boss." As for Kaguya, I'm sure by that time i can defeat her.
Ryo's eyes narrowed slightly.
Then what exactly is the point of you now?
"System," he said calmly, though a faint edge crept into his voice, "why are you so late?"
No response.
The system continued introducing itself as if nothing had been asked.
Ryo's expression darkened.
"You should have appeared when I regained my memories."
Still nothing.
"Or at least… when I actually needed help."
The air around him grew colder.
"And now you show up—when I'm already the strongest in the ninja world?"
A pause.
"…Do you think I needed you now?"
The system flickered slightly.
Its introduction paused for a brief moment—
then continued.
That was the wrong decision.
Ryo's patience snapped.
"I asked you a question."
This time, his voice carried clear anger.
The system trembled.
Yes.
Trembled. The blue panel trembled. Even its text seemed less stable.
After a short silence, it finally responded.
[Explanation…]
The text appeared slower this time.
Careful.
Almost nervous. Like a student was caught by head teacher right after he did a prank.
[The system has been bound to the host since birth.]
Ryo said nothing, but his eyes sharpened.

Ryo's expression didn't change.

[Final activation occurred at age 22.]
The jungle became completely still.
Even the wind seemed to stop.
Ryo spoke slowly.
"…So let me understand this."

"You decided to sleep."
"You set an alarm."
"And because of a misclick…"
His voice dropped.
"…you woke up ten years late?"
[Yes.]
Ryo closed his eyes.
For a moment, it looked like he was calming down.
Then—
"YOU MISCLICKED?! You f*cking don't even have fingers so how the f*ck did you misclicked?!! "
His voice echoed through the forest, startling birds into flight.
For someone who had survived war, awakened Mangekyō at five, and killed beings like Isshiki—
this was, without question,
the most ridiculous thing he had ever heard.
After a long silence, Ryo exhaled.
"…Fine."
There was no point getting angry at something this stupid.
It wouldn't fix anything.
"What can you do?"
The system, sensing danger had slightly decreased, immediately tried to recover.
And then— it made another mistake. Instead of answering normally—To make Ryo's anger dissolve it started… rapping.
[Yo host, don't be cross, I got power, not a loss—]
"Stop."
The system froze.
"I said," Ryo spoke slowly, each word heavy, "tell me your functions."
"No performance. No poetry. No regrets."
A brief pause.
Then—
the system switched modes instantly.
Its interface straightened.
The text grew bold.
Clear.
Loud.
As if reporting to a commander.

— TIME TRAVEL
— MISSIONS & REWARDS
— PROFICIENCY PANEL
— STORAGE
A final line appeared, slightly brighter than the rest:

Ryo raised a brow.
"…Compensation?"
[Due to delayed activation, the system grants an additional reward.]
The screen shifted.
A title appeared.
[TITLE ACQUIRED: WORLD TRAVELER]
[Effect: The host can freely travel between worlds while retaining all original abilities.]
[All Kekkei Genkai, ocular powers, techniques, and personal skills remain usable regardless of the body occupied.]
[Additionally, the host can integrate and bring back foreign power systems (e.g., magic, qi, etc.) to the original body.]
Silence.
Ryo stared at the screen.
For the first time since the system appeared—
his expression changed.
Not anger.
Not irritation.
But genuine interest.
"…Now that," he said quietly, "is actually useful."
a new path opened before him.
Ryo smiled faintly.
"Alright, System…"
"…let's see if you were worth the wait."
