Chapter 84 - The Breaking Point

The Adamantine Staff and Hiruzen Sarutobi were bound by a summoning contract.

The moment he sensed that the Adamantine Prison Wall was beginning to fail, a surge of shock ran through him.

His summon—the Monkey King Enma—possessed a body said to be indestructible, capable of transforming freely, expanding and shrinking at will.

And yet—

The very same Enma, whose body was known as adamantine, whose defense had never failed him before…

Was now being overwhelmed by nothing more than an Earth Release technique.

Even thinking about it felt absurd.

What kind of "Earth Dragon" is this? This isn't a jutsu… this is basically a summoned beast!

But the more he thought about it, the colder his heart grew.

They had already been fighting for quite some time.

Hiruzen had used nearly every technique at his disposal. He had exhausted his combat experience, unleashed countless ninjutsu, and even summoned Enma—his strongest trump card.

And yet—

At no point had Uchiha Ryujin summoned a creature of his own.

That realization struck him harder than the attack itself.

The more he thought, the more uneasy he became.

For a split second, his focus slipped—his chakra output wavered.

But just as his thoughts began to scatter, a voice rang out from the Adamantine Staff.

"Enma…!"

"Hiruzen! Don't lose focus in battle! Keep channeling your chakra!"

"This thing… it's the strongest force I've ever faced! It feels like an entire mountain is crashing down on me!"

Hiruzen's expression stiffened.

A mountain…

That description wasn't exaggerated in the slightest.

If one looked closely, the colossal dragon looming in front of them was larger than the Hokage Rock itself.

What Ryujin was doing was simple in concept—

He was using a mountain as a weapon.

And not just any mountain—

A mountain falling from the sky with unstoppable momentum.

If anyone in this world had ever studied physics, they would immediately realize one thing:

There was no way to stop something like this head-on.

Snapping back to reality, Hiruzen gritted his teeth and poured more chakra into the barrier.

The cracks slowed… slightly stabilizing under the reinforcement.

But he knew—

This couldn't last.

If this continued, the barrier would inevitably collapse.

At that moment, under the pressure of impending death, inspiration struck.

In extreme situations, human potential was often pushed to its limits—and Hiruzen Sarutobi was no exception.

While maintaining the Adamantine Prison Wall, he formed hand seals once more.

"Adamantine Staff—Wind!"

It was the same technique as before.

But this time…

It wasn't just a single staff.

It was countless enlarged Adamantine rods, all activated simultaneously.

Chakra surged violently through his body, flowing into every segment of the barrier.

The rods began to spin.

At first slowly—then faster… and faster… until they became a blur.

The overlapping layers of rotating adamantine rods generated an overwhelming vortex.

Wind began to build.

Then stack.

Then multiply.

The airflow intensified to a terrifying degree, merging into a violent cyclone.

A storm was born.

The battlefield trembled as the rotating barrier transformed into a colossal wind-grinding fortress.

The raging storm clashed head-on against the descending dragon.

For a moment—

The unstoppable force… was stopped.

Not only that—

The dragon's advance began to slow.

Then… gradually… it was pushed back.

A balance was formed.

Two overwhelming forces collided, neither immediately overpowering the other.

"Not bad," Ryujin said with a faint smile, watching from atop the dragon's head. "As expected of the Third Hokage."

But Hiruzen didn't respond.

He couldn't.

At this moment, he was pouring nearly all of his chakra into maintaining the defense.

Even speaking was a luxury.

Around them, the battlefield had completely fallen silent.

No one continued fighting.

No one even thought about fighting.

Because at this point—

Their battles didn't matter anymore.

All eyes were locked onto the sky.

The clash before them was something that would be recorded in history.

A collision of forces so immense that it rivaled war itself.

The Uchiha clan stood watching, their faces filled with pride, emotion, and reverence.

Their clan head—

Their leader—

Was this powerful.

In that moment, their belief solidified completely.

Ryujin was their future. Their hope. Their god.

And yet—

Ryujin himself did nothing.

He did not inject additional chakra into the dragon.

He did not strengthen the attack.

He simply stood there—calmly, effortlessly—on the dragon's head.

The shockwaves, the pressure, the raging winds…

None of it could move him even slightly.

He stood unmoving, like a god overlooking the world.

Inside the livestream, the guild members were completely stunned.

Unlike the shinobi below, they experienced everything through immersive projection.

They could feel it.

They could see it clearly.

They understood just how hard Hiruzen was fighting to survive.

They felt the terrifying force of the dragon's impact.

And yet—

Their Guild Master stood above it all, untouched.

Unshaken.

Unmoved.

Just how strong… is he?

The newcomer, "Strange Good Person," fell completely silent.

Her worldview had shattered.

Nothing she was seeing made sense.

This wasn't CGI.

This wasn't a game.

It felt… real.

And that was the most terrifying part.

At that moment—

Hiruzen roared.

His chakra erupted like a waterfall, pouring out without restraint.

"Break!!!"

The rotation of the adamantine rods accelerated once more.

The storm intensified.

The pressure peaked.

The dragon's momentum halted completely.

And then—

The wind, sharp enough to slice through steel, tore across the dragon's body thousands of times in an instant.

Cracks spread.

Fragments shattered.

"Crack—!"

BOOM!!!

The colossal dragon exploded.

A massive shockwave swept across the entire Uchiha compound, engulfing everything in dust and chaos.

When the smoke finally cleared—

The dragon was gone.

Ryujin stood calmly in place, his red robes untouched, his aura as composed as ever.

On the other side—

Hiruzen stood with his staff, breathing heavily, his clothes torn and battered.

But despite everything—

He smiled.

"Uchiha Ryujin…"

"Size alone… doesn't decide everything."

Ryujin raised an eyebrow slightly.

"Is that so?"

A faint smile curved on his lips.

"Then… have you ever witnessed the ultimate power of the Uchiha?"

As he spoke—

His Mangekyō Sharingan began to spin.

Mysterious.

Beautiful.

Terrifying.

And then—

"Susanoo…"
