Chapter 82 - The Livestream Begins

"Open a livestream?"

Seeing Eriri's message in the guild chat, Ryujin paused for a moment and considered it seriously. At this stage, the battle no longer posed any real challenge to him. Danzo Shimura was already dead, and only Hiruzen Sarutobi remained. The fight had essentially reached its final phase, and everything was already under his control.

After a brief moment of thought, Ryujin found the idea quite reasonable. Since the situation was stable, he could use this opportunity to let the guild members observe a real high-level battle. It would be beneficial for them, especially in terms of combat awareness and experience. Moreover, a new member had just joined the guild—this would serve as a perfect introduction to what the guild truly represented.

With that in mind, Ryujin made his decision without hesitation.

In the next instant, he activated the livestream function.

[Ding! Guild Master Ryujin has initiated a livestream. Members can click to enter.]

The notification appeared at the top of the guild interface, instantly catching everyone's attention. Almost immediately, the members responded.

[Asuna Yuuki has entered the livestream.]

[Utaha Kasumigaoka has entered the livestream.]

[Eriri Spencer Sawamura has entered the livestream.]

[Saeko Busujima has entered the livestream.]

[Inori Yuzuriha has entered the livestream.]

 [Linglong has entered the livestream.]

One after another, six members joined without hesitation.

Ryujin could clearly sense their presence, but something felt slightly off—he didn't see the newcomer yet. Just as he was about to wonder about it, a message popped up in the guild chat.

Strange Kindhearted Person:

"Hi hi! Sorry, I was busy just now and didn't get a chance to introduce myself."

"Wait… what kind of username is this? Huh? The Guild Master is livestreaming? That sounds amazing!"

Before Ryujin could react further, another system prompt appeared.

[Strange Kindhearted Person has entered the livestream.]

Seeing the name, Ryujin frowned slightly. It didn't ring any bells. However, since the livestream had already begun, he didn't dwell on it and refocused on the battlefield.

Meanwhile, inside the livestream, the guild members were experiencing something entirely unexpected.

The moment they entered, they weren't simply watching a screen—they were immersed in a full holographic projection. It felt as though they had been transported directly into the scene. They found themselves standing high in the sky, with the ground far below them. The height was so extreme that they could even make out individual figures on the battlefield beneath.

Then, they saw it.

A colossal dragon hovered in the sky, its massive body coiling as if it were resting. Its earthy-yellow scales shimmered faintly, and even though they knew this was a projection, the sheer presence of the creature sent chills down their spines.

"This… what is this?! That's so cool!" Eriri exclaimed, her voice filled with excitement and disbelief.

Utaha narrowed her eyes slightly as she observed the creature. "It looks like a dragon. I've read about something like this before in certain mythological texts."

Inori spoke softly, her tone calm yet awed. "It feels… powerful."

Asuna nodded gently, her expression thoughtful. "Yes, it's a dragon. In Eastern cultures, dragons are considered sacred beings, often worshipped as symbols. But in our world… they don't exist."

Linglong, on the other hand, was practically sparkling with excitement. "Wow! Guild Master is amazing! He actually summoned a dragon!"

Their reactions came one after another, each more amazed than the last. No one had ever imagined witnessing such a scene—something straight out of legend, now unfolding right before their eyes.

Then, the newcomer suddenly spoke again.

"Th-this is scary… Wait! Who's that?!" the Strange Kindhearted Person said, clearly startled. "Why is someone standing on that monster's head?!"

Her words immediately drew everyone's attention.

Only then did they notice the figure standing atop the dragon.

Ryujin.

Clad in a striking red robe, with a golden crown adorning his head, he stood tall and composed. His posture was calm, almost indifferent, yet it carried an overwhelming sense of authority. His face was refined and handsome, and his crimson eyes, with their slowly rotating Mangekyō patterns, seemed to hold an unfathomable depth.

At that moment, his presence alone captivated everyone.

"…He's so handsome… Who is he?" the newcomer asked in a dazed voice.

Asuna smiled gently and replied, "That's our Guild Master—Ryujin."

There was a subtle hint of pride in her tone, though she didn't seem to notice it herself.

Saeko's gaze sharpened slightly as she observed the scene. "That dragon… was summoned by him? As expected of the Guild Master."

Her voice carried a quiet admiration, as though such a display of power was only natural for him.

Eriri, meanwhile, had completely fallen silent. Her eyes were locked onto Ryujin, filled with pure admiration and awe. At this moment, nothing else seemed to matter to her—not even Utaha's usual teasing.

In her mind, there was only one thought.

Guild Master is the coolest.

The newcomer, however, was still confused.

"So that's the Guild Master… but why is he standing on something like that?" she asked hesitantly. "Is he… filming a movie or something?"

Utaha couldn't help but chuckle at that.

"Not quite," she said with a playful tone. "He's just bullying some noobs."

Her words were technically correct—after all, Ryujin himself had said so. But to the newcomer, they only added to the confusion.

"???" the Strange Kindhearted Person responded.

What kind of guild had she just joined?

Seeing this, Asuna quickly stepped in to smooth things over. "Alright, don't tease her. Just keep watching—you'll understand soon."

The chat gradually quieted down, but a lingering question remained in everyone's mind.

Why was the Guild Master wearing such a bright red robe?

Was it some kind of special battle attire?

At that moment, as the livestream stabilized and all eyes were fixed on him—

Ryujin moved.

And the true climax of the battle… was about to begin.
