Chapter 19 - The Red Packet Storm

"Voice red packet…?"

Busujima Saeko stared at the unfamiliar feature, her brows knitting slightly as she tried to make sense of it. The concept itself felt strange—voice input, rewards, interdimensional transfer… this so-called guild clearly possessed far more functions than she had initially imagined.

Before she could think it through—

Someone had already acted.

Eriri, who had just regained her ability to speak after being muted, rushed forward without hesitation. Her excitement was immediate and unrestrained, as if she feared someone might beat her to it if she delayed even a second.

A quick voice recording.

A tap.

And the reward was claimed.

Moments later, her message appeared, accompanied by an image she had just taken. She excitedly tagged Ryujin, asking what exactly she had received, her tone filled with curiosity and barely contained enthusiasm.

Utaha followed soon after, far more composed in her approach. She had also claimed her reward, and what appeared in her hands was a book. She flipped through it briefly, her eyes scanning the contents before narrowing slightly.

"It looks like a technique manual," she noted calmly. "But the writing… I can't read it."

Linglong's voice came in next, bright and cheerful as always. Instead of focusing on the item itself, she first commented on Utaha's voice, praising how pleasant it sounded. Only afterward did she check her own reward.

What she received left her even more excited.

A stack of talismans.

Each one marked with a bold character that looked suspiciously like the word for "explosion."

Her eyes widened immediately as realization dawned.

"Are these… explosive?"

Asuna checked hers next, her approach more cautious. Like Utaha, she had received a technique manual, but she encountered the same problem—the language was completely unfamiliar.

She sent a picture as well, seeking confirmation.

At that moment—

Ryujin finally spoke.

His tone remained calm, as if none of this was particularly surprising to him.

He first addressed Eriri, explaining that the item she had received was a ninja tool known as a kunai. There were fifty in total, and ten of them had been coated with lethal poison. Once used successfully, the target would lose mobility almost instantly.

He then turned to Utaha's reward, confirming that it was indeed a ninjutsu scroll—the Shunshin Technique. As for the language, he explained that it belonged to the ninja world, and that the guild itself provided a translation function that could resolve the issue.

Linglong's talismans were next. Ryujin explained that they were explosive tags, highly destructive tools that could be planted in advance and detonated at will during combat.

Finally, he addressed Asuna's reward.

A Fire Style technique.

The Great Fireball Jutsu.

By gathering chakra in the throat and releasing it in a single burst, the user could unleash flames powerful enough to incinerate multiple large animals with ease.

The explanation ended.

Silence followed.

Then—

Shock.

Meanwhile, Saeko's expression slowly shifted.

Curiosity gave way to interest.

Interest deepened into excitement.

Without hesitation, she tapped the red packet.

A prompt appeared in her mind, requesting a voice input to claim the reward. After a brief pause, she cleared her throat slightly, then spoke.

The system responded immediately.

And in the next moment—

A book appeared in her hands.

Out of nowhere.

Real.

Solid.

Heavy.

Saeko's pupils contracted slightly as she stared at it.

"…This…"

It was a technique manual.

Ancient in design, covered in unfamiliar script that resembled Japanese, yet remained completely unreadable to her.

But that didn't matter.

What mattered was—

It existed.

This wasn't an illusion.

Not a hallucination.

The guild—

Was real.

A connection that transcended worlds.

A system that could transfer knowledge… and objects.

Her breathing slowed as she steadied herself, forcing her mind to adapt to the reality unfolding before her.

Her worldview—

Was changing.

Slowly.

But undeniably.

She typed her response calmly, stating that she had also received a manual. After using the translation function, she identified it as a taijutsu technique.

Ryujin replied simply.

"That suits you."

"Taijutsu relies less on chakra. It's more compatible with your current condition."

Even as he said it, a thought crossed his mind.

Logically, without the existence of something like the Divine Tree, other worlds shouldn't even be capable of producing chakra.

And yet—

They could.

Which meant the guild itself was overriding that limitation.

Compared to that…

Even the Divine Tree seemed insignificant.

At that moment, another message appeared.

Inori.

Her tone was quiet, but direct as she asked about her own reward and sent a picture.

Ryujin glanced at it briefly before responding.

"Those are shuriken."

"Similar to kunai, but more difficult to use."

"Each one is coated with deadly poison. If they hit, death occurs within five seconds."

Inori paused.

Five seconds.

Her gaze lowered toward the weapons now resting in her hands.

Then slowly—

She tightened her grip.

Because in just a few days…

She had a mission.

A dangerous one.

And these tools—

Might be the difference between life and death.

Back in the guild—

Chaos resumed.

Eriri was the first to react, thanking Ryujin loudly and declaring that she would use her kunai against a certain someone, clearly hinting at Utaha.

Utaha, of course, did not let that pass.

With perfect composure, she responded with a sharp remark, mocking Eriri's ambition while effortlessly redirecting the conversation toward her favorite topic—Eriri's physique.

The words were precise.

Merciless.

What should be big… wasn't.

What shouldn't be small… was very small.

There was a brief pause.

Then—

An explosion.

Eriri's reaction came instantly, filled with disbelief and outrage.

Linglong, ever innocent, tilted her head in confusion and asked whether Eriri was really as flat as Utaha described.

Utaha's answer was immediate.

Absolute.

Flat.

Like a boy.

No need for support—

Because there was nothing to support.

Eriri snapped.

Completely.

Her message came through in a burst of censored rage as she declared her intent to "kill" Utaha.

The guild—

Descended into chaos once more.

And somewhere far away—

Ryujin leaned back slightly, still submerged in the bath.

Watching.

Silent.

Unbothered.

This guild—

Was far more entertaining than he had expected.
