The post-credits scene ended, and the screen finally went black.
Thomas let out a long breath, still a little dazed. "That white-haired guy in the tank top… he looked really strong. And the guy sitting on the throne in golden armor was even more badass. Is the next movie going to be about them?"
Ronin nodded. "Probably. That white-haired man is Reinhardt. He's a crusader from the old Overwatch days. The guy in the golden armor is likely the new leader of the reformed Overwatch. The movie will probably focus on Reinhardt's return and the new team forming."
Thomas scratched his head, still trying to process it all. "Reinhardt? That name sounds German. The big hammer and heavy armor make him look like a real tank. I bet he's incredibly strong in close combat."
"Exactly. Reinhardt is a classic frontline warrior. He charges straight into battle with his rocket hammer, smashing everything in his path. He's the ultimate protector—tough, loyal, and always ready to shield his teammates," Ronin explained with a smile.
Thomas's eyes lit up. "Sounds awesome! I can't wait to see it. When do you think the next movie will come out?"
Ronin thought for a moment. "Probably in another six months or so. We usually keep that pace. But Iron Man just dropped, so we'll see how the box office does before deciding the exact schedule."
Thomas grinned. "I have a feeling Iron Man is going to crush it. Mr. Stark basically played himself, and the suit looks incredible. The story is grounded but still feels epic. Audiences are going to love it."
Ronin chuckled. "Yeah, I think so too. Tony's real-life reputation will help a lot. People already know Iron Man exists, so seeing him on the big screen is going to feel special."
The two of them chatted excitedly about the movie for a while longer. Thomas kept asking questions about the post-credits characters, clearly hooked.
Meanwhile, across town at Stark Tower, Tony was in his workshop watching the same movie on a huge screen. Pepper sat beside him, looking a little tired but still smiling.
When the post-credits scene played, Tony raised an eyebrow. "Reinhardt? That guy looks like he could bench-press a tank. And the golden-armor dude on the throne… interesting. Looks like Ronin is building his own team."
Pepper leaned her head on his shoulder. "You're not jealous, are you?"
"Jealous? Me?" Tony smirked. "Please. I'm Iron Man. But I have to admit… the guy knows how to tell a story. I might actually go watch the next one in theaters."
Pepper laughed softly. "You just want to see yourself on screen again."
"Can you blame me? I look good in armor."
Back at Ronin's villa, the night grew quiet. Thomas eventually headed to bed, still buzzing about the movie.
Ronin stayed up a little longer, scrolling through online reactions. Douban and other forums were exploding with praise for Iron Man. The post-credits scene had everyone speculating wildly about the next Overwatch hero.
He smiled to himself. Everything was going according to plan. The Overwatch universe was growing, and the audience was eating it up.
But he knew the real challenges were still ahead. Hydra was lurking in the shadows, S.H.I.E.L.D. was watching him closely, and bigger threats like Loki, Ultron, and Thanos were waiting in the future.
He needed to keep building his strength. Tracer was unlocked, but he still wanted more. Soldier: 76, Winston, and Tracer were great, but he needed someone with raw power, someone who could stand toe-to-toe with the heaviest hitters.
His eyes drifted back to the system interface.
The Faith Points were still climbing nicely thanks to Iron Man's strong opening.
"Next one," he whispered. "Who should it be?"
He scrolled through the list again, considering his options carefully. Each hero brought something unique to the table. He needed balance—speed, defense, offense, and utility.
After a moment, his finger stopped on a new name.
A slow grin spread across his face.
"This one… is going to be fun."
He confirmed the selection.
A surge of energy washed over him as the new transformation form activated.
Ronin leaned back on the sofa, eyes shining with excitement.
The Overwatch roster was growing.
And the Marvel world had no idea what was coming.
