Do Jin spent the next few hours working on the electrical problem in Park Soo Jin's study room. He had intentionally made the issue look more complicated than it actually was by "discovering" several additional faulty connections in the wall.
By 6:30 PM, the sun had begun to set, and the villa was growing darker.
He had deliberately left one section of the power still unstable so he would have a legitimate reason to stay longer.
At exactly 7:15 PM, the study room door opened.
Park Soo Jin walked in, still wearing the same white blouse and tight black pencil skirt, though she had removed her jacket. Her long black hair was tied in a neat ponytail, giving her an even more strict and professional appearance.
She looked around the dimly lit room, then at Do Jin who was kneeling near the wall with tools scattered around him.
"You're still here," she said flatly. "I thought you would have run away by now."
Do Jin stood up slowly, wiping his hands on a cloth. Sweat glistened lightly on his forehead and neck from the work, making his shirt cling slightly to his toned chest.
"I told you it was more complicated than a simple outlet," he replied calmly. "The wiring in this section is old and overloaded. I've fixed most of it, but I need to test the entire circuit properly. That will take at least another hour."
Soo Jin narrowed her eyes.
"You have until 8 PM. Not a minute more."
She walked over to her desk and sat down, turning on her laptop which was now running on battery. She clearly intended to work while keeping an eye on him.
The atmosphere in the room became tense and silent.
Do Jin continued working, but he made sure to move in ways that showed off his body — reaching high, bending down, flexing his arms. He knew the Magnetic Pheromone skill from the previous wheel spin (even though it was still weak) was subtly working in the background.
After twenty minutes of complete silence, Soo Jin finally spoke without looking up from her screen.
"You're different from the others they sent before."
Do Jin glanced at her.
"How so?"
"They usually tremble, apologize constantly, and finish as fast as possible just to escape," she said coldly. "You act like you own the place."
Do Jin let out a soft chuckle.
"Maybe because I'm not scared of you, Attorney Park."
Soo Jin finally looked up from her laptop, her sharp eyes locking onto his.
"Everyone should be scared of me," she said, her voice low and dangerous. "I destroy careers for a living. One phone call from me and your little repair company could lose half its clients."
Do Jin stood up straight and faced her directly, toolbox forgotten for a moment.
"Then why haven't you kicked me out yet?" he asked, his tone calm but challenging. "You could have done it hours ago."
Soo Jin didn't answer immediately. Instead, she leaned back in her chair and studied him carefully — his face, his broad shoulders, the way his shirt stuck to his body from sweat.
For the first time, Do Jin saw a tiny crack in her icy armor. A faint flush appeared on her neck, barely noticeable.
The system pinged excitedly:

[Hidden sexual frustration rising slowly]
[Keep pushing. She's starting to imagine things she doesn't want to admit.]
Do Jin decided to take a bigger risk.
He walked closer to her desk until he was standing right in front of it.
"Attorney Park," he said quietly, looking down at her. "You work hard every day. You control everything around you. But tell me honestly…"
He leaned forward slightly, placing one hand on the desk.
"When was the last time someone took control of you? When was the last time you didn't have to be the strong, perfect woman for even five minutes?"
Soo Jin's eyes widened slightly. Her fingers froze on the keyboard.
For a split second, her cold mask slipped completely. A flash of vulnerability — and something much hotter — passed through her eyes.
She quickly recovered, her voice turning sharp again.
"You are crossing the line, repairman."
"Am I?" Do Jin asked, his voice dropping lower. "Or am I just saying what you've been thinking about for a long time?"
The tension in the room became suffocating.
Soo Jin stood up suddenly, her chair scraping loudly against the floor. She was almost the same height as him in her heels.
"Enough," she said, but her voice wasn't as steady as before. "Finish your work and leave. Now."
Do Jin didn't back down. He stayed exactly where he was, their faces only a foot apart.
"I can leave right now if you want," he said softly. "But we both know the power will fail again in a few days. And we both know you don't want me to leave yet."
Soo Jin's breathing became slightly faster. Her chest rose and fell visibly.
She opened her mouth to speak, but at that exact moment —
The lights in the study room flickered again, then half the room went dark.
Do Jin glanced at the wall.
"See? Still unstable. If I leave now, you'll be working in the dark."
Soo Jin stared at him for a long, heavy moment. The internal battle was clear on her face — pride versus the strange heat building in her body.
Finally, she spoke, her voice lower than before:
"…Fine. You can stay until the power is fully stable. But if you say one more inappropriate word, I will throw you out myself."
She sat back down, but this time she didn't look at her laptop. Her eyes kept drifting back to Do Jin as he worked.
Do Jin turned back to the wall with a hidden smirk.
The system's voice rang with delight:
[Excellent work, Mr. 49!]
[Her ice is cracking faster than expected.]
[Current intrigue level: 57%]
[Sexual tension detected.]
[If you play your cards right tonight, you might just break the Ice Queen on her own desk.]
Do Jin continued working, but now the air between them felt completely different.
Every time he moved, he could feel Soo Jin's eyes on him.
Every time their eyes met, the silence grew heavier.
The real hunt had truly begun.
And the Ice Queen was starting to melt… whether she wanted to admit it or not.
