Jess reached out to pull Nik towards the table .
" What is it that u want Jessica , time is of the essence" Nik asked with furrowed brows.
" I want to have lunch with my husband, don't u want to have lunch with me . Her eyes reddening ever so slightly

The atmosphere was as awkward , neither of them said anything, only Jess occasionally scooping food into Nik's bowl, soon they were done eating and Jess finally addressed the elephant in the room.
