As much as I was disappointed in myself I guess some events were compulsory and unavoidable but how many exactly?. Now I had been reborn or rather born to the current heads of the Kagenou barony. Honestly I the thought of me falling for truck kun was hilarious mostly because of how many isekais I had watched. But now there is a greater challenge before me. I specifically chose "Alien X" abilities because I had was not taking the message seriously. I thought it was just a prank or Spam.
The main difficulty was in the greatest limitation of his ability. All three consciousness had to agree for even a single action to be taken. Unaware of my internal debate my parents and the staff were more curious on why I had not cried yet. As soon as I realized this I tried to cry but I was unable to. "Commencing new debate" . A voice rang in my head actually it was two voices one male and the other female. I was confused as the world around me appeared to be colourless. What is going on? Almost immediately all I could see was darkness then the night sky.
It could be compared to floating in space. Then two figures appeared to be levitating above me. I could only describe them as giant green masks wearing different expressions. One wore a sad expression and the other one a happy expression. Then it hit me I could talk. Connecting two and two together I'm guessing this is Lucas and Dwiba. Though they didn't introduce themselves I decided to name them. " You're name henceforth is Hades and you will be Persephone" I said rather confidently while pointing at them.
Though my body was still that of an infant I still had the capability to move and
communicate like an adult.
Persephone: Though you are being impudent I consent.
Hades: But why after the greek gods of death.
"It's because you are the first beings to talk to me so soon upon my death" I stated bluntly.
Persephone: That aside we have a bigger calamity in our hands.
Hades: It appears the birth of a mortal wielding the abilities of a celestial sapien has greatly interfered with the balance of this realm.
What does that mean? Does that mean that the narrative will take a different course than intended.
Persephone: It appears you do not understand our predicament. Let me state it bluntly the entities in this realm are getting significantly stronger than the original narrative.
Hades: Unfortunately for you that your existence alone has heightened their strength.
This was quite troublesome but not exactly something worth worrying over as long as I can get Hades and Persephone to agree I can all of them with a single thought.
Hades: Unfortunately we are unable to interfere the power we wield is too much to freely manipulate this realms laws to our will.
Persephone: We will only interfere only when the threat is too great for you to solve on your own.
I guess that makes sense so let's get some rules straight so as to avoid stepping on each other's toes in the future.
After debating for what felt like years which I'm pretty sure it could have been as time had been halted but I couldn't say for sure. We agreed on the following:
1. I was allowed to make daily movements, fights and make decisions regarding actions related to the body I was possessing.
2. No using my higher being abilities unless the situation is completely dire
3. Unfortunately they refused to grant immortality, the nerve of these guys.
4. In exchange for denying me immortality they granted my body shadow abilities; shadow step and danger precognition.
5. I could consult with them about anything including the knowledge of what I don't know.
6. I permitted them to witness my shadow broker feats to make it more entertaining,every show needs an audience.
7. Finally I allowed them to converse with me so long as the situation allowed it .
With that everything was returned to normal and life progressed as normal. I spent most of my infancy as a normal child. You know basic child stuff but secretly I would communicate with Hades and Persephone to ensure I remained in their good graces.
Also Hades adviced me to start building my magic circuits as early as possible and begin magic conduction and concentration. And that's was what I focused on whenever my big sister was not around.
Her name was Claire, she somewhat resembled mother. Her crimson eyes seemed to peer through my very soul. But as much as I loved Claire she is way too clingy. But I guess I don't have much of a choice as a child. All I can do is enjoy the easy life.
