Day 368. 07:00 hours.
The central mansion.
The Atrium.
The narra table.
The morning after the morning after.
The household gathered for the first full briefing since Little Jae-min's birth. They'd spent Day 270 in the master suite — eating Hua's porridge in Marie's bedroom, laughing, roasting, lip-locking, holding the baby. Then sleeping.
Now they were here. The narra table. The Steinway. The skylights. The snow falling against the glass.
Marie was not at the table.
The mother who had given birth nineteen hours ago was resting in the master suite. The doctor had ordered. The auntie's opinions were — for once — silent. Rico stayed with her. Little Jae-min stayed on his father's chest.
The household felt the absence. The uncle's chair at Jae-min's right — empty. The auntie's chair beside it — empty. For the first time in two hundred and seventy-one days, the morning table was without them.
Jae-min sat at the head with Alessia on his lap — just over five and a half months pregnant, the glow warm. His dark eyes swept the table. The captain was working.
Ji-yoo is on Jae-min's left. Dark eyes sharp, dark circles under them — she hadn't slept. Hospital until midnight, then the command deck, running scenarios until dawn. Something behind her eyes the household couldn't read. The twin was calculating.
Min-joo beside Ji-yoo, his black eyes tracking her face. He knew her silences. He knew the sharp eyes meant planning. He was waiting.
Yue at the far end, the jian on her hip. The marble had been cracking more often since yesterday — since she'd held Little Jae-min and something behind her ribs shifted. The marble was softer now.
Gabriel beside Yue, the bounce suspended. Her golden eyes tracked Jae-min across the table. She hadn't lip-locked him this morning because the captain was working. She was waiting to lip-lock.
Jennifer beside them, blue eyes soft, the Omni-Mind broadcasting passive — monitoring the household's emotional weather.
Hua at the edge, eight and a half months pregnant with Eun-hae, the belly rounding under the apron. She'd leave halfway through the briefing because the kitchen did not stop. Not for briefings. Not for anything.
Elaine — nearly eight months, the spy whose belly was showing now. The woman who had carried in secret and now carried in the open.
Paolo at the door with his four — Carmen, Esperanza, Sofia, Lina — all eight months along, all waddling, all holding each other's arms. They settled on the bench by the door because the narra table was full.
Mei in her wheelchair, Chocho in her lap, the tablet glowing. The violet-blue eyes filing everything.
Yi Chen at the corner, golden eyes on Jae-min. The heir who had named the compound Olympus, watching the captain work. Learning.
Sakura beside Yi Chen, dark eyes on the table. The Deva vice captain who had chosen.
Haitao at the opposite end, James beside him, Chen Wei and Ji-hoon Park behind. The Gedo Group — captain, vice captain, two operatives, eleven investigators in the corridor.
Vasquez. Yoona. Sera. Mark Jordan. Aiko.
The snow fell against the skylights. The household assembled. The baby upstairs, in the hospital, on his father's chest.
"Olympus." Jae-min opened, his voice the deep-water calm that held the room. "Three hundred sixty-seven. Seven mansions. One wall. Four gates. The heated corridor. The power grid. The hospital. The garrison. The coalition. The vault. The fundamentals. The soulbound weapons. The Celestial Metal."
He paused, his hand resting on Alessia's hip.
"The baby." Jae-min added, and something flickered across his jaw — the uncle surfacing through the captain for one breath before the captain returned. "Olympus holds. Olympus grew. Olympus must now organize."
The household went still. They knew this was coming — the briefing delayed by the birth. The briefing that was now.
"The Gedo Group." Jae-min addressed, his dark eyes finding Haitao. "Fifteen personnel. Captain. Vice captain. Two operatives. Eleven investigators. All Baseline. All extracted from Taipei on Day 207. All integrated, fed, housed."
His eyes held Haitao's.
"But Olympus is not a hotel." Jae-min declared, his voice hardening. "Olympus is a fortress. The Gedo Group must be categorized."
"The Gedo Group is yours to categorize, Captain Del Rosario." Haitao answered, his rough voice carrying the formality of a man handing over authority. "I have been waiting. The investigators have been waiting. We are yours."
"The Asura Group." Jae-min continued, his eyes moving to Min-joo. "Taiwan Samsara Federation Military War Group. Self-managed. Captain Kim and Vice Captain Lee handle personnel, deployment, training, discipline. Olympus does not interfere."
Min-joo nodded. His garrison was his.
"The Deva Group." Jae-min stated, his eyes finding Yi Chen. "Taiwan Samsara Federation Assault Group. Self-managed. Captain Yi Chen and Vice Captain Sakura handle personnel, deployment, training, discipline. Olympus does not interfere."
Yi Chen bowed his head. Sakura beside him — the vice captain whose dark eyes were steady.
"The coalition is not self-managed." Jae-min announced, his dark eyes finding Vasquez. "The coalition integrates into Olympus Defense. Captain Vasquez commands the coalition soldiers under Olympus Defense. The coalition is the wall."
Vasquez nodded. His soldiers were his.
"The Gedo Group is not self-managed." Jae-min declared, his eyes returning to Haitao. "The Gedo Group is intelligence. Investigation. Analysts, not soldiers. No combat function. Support function. The Gedo Group must be distributed."
Haitao's dark surgical eyes held steady. He'd been expecting this.
"Distribute." Haitao confirmed, the word a permission and a relief.
Jae-min's dark eyes swept the table.
"The Gedo Group will be categorized into four functional tracks." Jae-min outlined. "Track one — intelligence. Investigators whose skills are analysis, cryptography, interrogation, source handling. These integrate under the Command Team. Captain Bian commands. Vice Captain Panganiban serves."
Haitao and James acknowledged.
"Track two — technical." Jae-min continued. "Investigators whose skills are engineering, electronics, systems, fabrication. These integrate under the R&D Team. Mark Jordan commands. Aiko serves."
Aiko's amber eyes lit up. The mechanical engineer whose domain was the workshop had just been given investigators. She was pleased.
"Track three — medical." Jae-min specified, his eyes finding Alessia. "Investigators whose skills are medicine, nursing, biology, pharmacy. These integrate under the Medical and Support Team. Alessia commands. Hua serves."
Alessia's glow pulsed. The doctor who had been running the hospital alone had just been given investigators. She was relieved.
"Track four — civil." Jae-min finished. "Investigators whose skills are logistics, cooking, maintenance, child care, and general labor. These also integrate under Medical and Support. That makes Medical and Support the largest team. The largest team is the household. The household is Olympus."
The household absorbed. The family that had been a mansion, a village, and a fortress was now a seat. A seat with teams. A seat with structure.
"Chen Wei and Ji-hoon Park." Jae-min addressed the two operatives standing behind Haitao. "Field operatives. Combat-capable. You two — Strike Team reserves. Train with the Strike Team. Deploy when the Strike Team deploys."
Chen Wei and Ji-hoon Park bowed.
"The eleven investigators will be interviewed today." Jae-min ordered, his voice clipped. "Captain Bian and Vice Captain Panganiban conduct the interviews. Investigators state their skills. Investigators are categorized. Investigators are placed. By tonight. By dinner."
Haitao bowed his head. The Gedo captain who was relieved.

Day 368. 09:00 hours.
The central mansion.
The Atrium.
The narra table.
Jae-min still at the head. The household still assembled. The briefing continuing.
"Olympus organizes into five teams. Five teams, five functions, five chains of command. Plus the Asura Group and Deva Group, self-managed. The Federation's combat arms are now Olympus's combat arms. The structure is complete." Jae-min declared, his voice holding the room.
The household listened. The household that was being structured.
"The Strike Team. Six members for combat operations, portal deployment, strike, and extraction. The team that goes through the void and fights." Jae-min began, his dark eyes sweeping the table.
His dark eyes found each member.
"Jae-min Del Rosario. Captain, Space and Time, Marksman. Strike Team commander." Jae-min listed.
"Ji-yoo Del Rosario. Twin, Gravity and Force, CQC. Strike Team Right Hand." Jae-min announced, his eyes on the twin.
Ji-yoo's dark eyes flickered. The title landed — Right Hand. Her jaw tightened, something unreadable behind her eyes. The twin who was calculating, whose Right Hand was not at the table.
"The woman in white. Regeneration, CQC, dual katana. Strike Team blades." Jae-min stated.
The woman in white was not at the table. She was on the east wall, as always, green eyes on the perimeter, hands finding the katanas. The woman who could not speak.
"Yue Shang, now Del Rosario. Wife, Space, CQC, Jian. Strike Team extraction." Jae-min continued.
Yue — the marble woman whose jian was on her hip, whose space was the Blink. The marble was cracking more softly.
"Mark Jordan Carillo. Black Hell Flame, CQC, Heracles Frame. Strike Team heavy." Jae-min declared.
Mark Jordan — long black ponytail loose over one shoulder, amber eyes steady, Black Hell Flame banked. The man who crossed Strike Team and R&D.
"Gabriel Abadia, now Del Rosario. Wife, Solar Wind, Aerial Support, Range, Frame Substitute. Strike Team air." Jae-min finished.
Gabriel's golden eyes blazed. The bounce was gone. She was in the air, ready.
"He said my name. Strike Team. I'm Strike Team." Gabriel realized, her pulse spiking, golden eyes glistening. The wife who was the air, Del Rosario now.
Got it — using your dialogue format: quoted speech, then attribution. Tight, no staccato, straight to the point:
"The Strike Team is six. The team that goes and fights — void, ground, blades, extraction, heavy, air. Complete." Jae-min summarized.
The household absorbed.
"The Command Team. Five members handling tactical coordination, intelligence, sensors, and operations. The team that sees and plans." Jae-min continued, his eyes finding Haitao.
"Haitao Bian. Gedo captain, Sight Destruction. Command Team commander." Jae-min declared.
Haitao's dark surgical eyes swept the table. The captain whose body was failing and whose mind had never been sharper.
"James Panganiban. Gedo vice captain, Liaison, Operations. Command Team voice." Jae-min continued.
James — the vice captain whose warm practiced voice carried the table.
"Elaine Cortez Bian, now Del Rosario. Spy, Cosmic Plasma, Intelligence. Command Team eyes." Jae-min named, his eyes finding Elaine.
Elaine — nearly eight months pregnant, the spy who had crossed an ocean under a cover name and come home to her father's side. Jae-min's sixth wife.
"Mei Lian Santos. Divine fundamental, Mind Control, Seraphim Castiel, data genius, Sensors. Command Team brain." Jae-min designated, his eyes finding Mei.
Mei in her wheelchair, Chocho in her lap, violet-blue eyes on the tablet — the most dangerous person in the room.
"Jennifer Avante, now Del Rosario. Wife, Omni-Mind, Telekinesis. Command Team synchronizer." Jae-min finished.
Jennifer — the wife with soft blue eyes, who synchronized, one of the five, who knew the regression.
"The Command Team is five. Sight, voice, eyes, brain, synchronizer. Complete." Jae-min summarized.
The household absorbed.
"The Medical and Support Team. Twelve members for medical, logistics, cooking, child care, and civil needs. The team that holds, feeds, and heals." Jae-min continued, his eyes finding Alessia.
"Alessia Romano Santos, now Del Rosario. Doctor, First wife, Life and Creation. Medical and Support Team commander." Jae-min declared.
Alessia's warm glow — the doctor just over five and a half months pregnant, who had been running the hospital alone.
"Hua Lian Santos, now Del Rosario. Chef. Medical and Support Team second." Jae-min continued.
Hua — eight and a half months pregnant with Eun-hae, the chef whose kitchen did not stop.
Jae-min listed the rest. Mira. Carmen, now Villanueva. Sofia, now Villanueva. Esperanza, now Villanueva. Lina, now Villanueva. Rosa. Belle. Ana. Lourdes. The rescued women and Paolo's wives — the team that carried.
"The Medical and Support Team is twelve. Complete." Jae-min summarized.
The household absorbed.
"The R&D Team. Four members for engineering, fabrication, weapons, the Heracles frames, and the PROMETHEUS core. The team that builds and invents." Jae-min continued.
"Mark Jordan Carillo. Black Hell Flame, Heracles Frame. R&D Team commander." Jae-min declared.
"Aiko Tanaka. Metal Manipulation, weapon specialist. R&D Team second." Jae-min continued.
Aiko — amber eyes lit up, whose domain was the workshop, whose steel obeyed.
"Daniela. Rescued woman, engineering background. R&D." Jae-min added.
"Lena. Rescued woman, Bionic Body, medical clearance granted. R&D." Jae-min finished.
"The R&D Team is four. Complete." Jae-min summarized.
The household absorbed.
"Olympus Defense. Six members for perimeter, wall, and gates. The team that holds and defends." Jae-min declared, his dark eyes finding Rico's empty chair, then the soldiers at the door.
"Ricardo Del Rosario. Uncle, Superhuman Strength. Olympus Defense commander." Jae-min announced.
Rico was not at the table — in the master suite with Marie and Little Jae-min — but the uncle's name landed. Thirty years of holding perimeters.
"Paolo Villanueva. Snow and Ice Manipulation. Olympus Defense." Jae-min continued.
Paolo — at the door with his four wives, whose ice was the frozen world's native son.
"Gabby. Rescued woman, Ji-yoo's apprentice. Olympus Defense." Jae-min added.
Gabby — Glock on her hip, almost-smile like Ji-yoo's, who ran the perimeter watch.
"Sera Esquilla. Lightning. Olympus Defense." Jae-min stated.
Sera — whose Lightning was Signature B, whose beacon had burned in the sky.
"Captain Elena Vasquez. Earth Manipulation. Olympus Defense." Jae-min declared.
Vasquez — the coalition captain who built the wall.
"Corporal Abigail Reyes. Celestial Metal. Olympus Defense." Jae-min finished.
Reyes — whose silver arm steadied the barrel steadier than flesh, steadier than bone. The shot again.
"Olympus Defense is six. The wall. Complete." Jae-min summarized.
The household absorbed.
"The Deva Group. Taiwan Samsara Federation Assault Group, self-managed. Captain Yi Chen commands, Vice Captain Sakura serves." Jae-min declared, his dark eyes finding Yi Chen.
"Yi Chen. Captain. Deva Group commander." Jae-min stated.
Yi Chen — the heir, golden eyes, aristocratic face, who had named the compound Olympus.
"Sakura Yoshiro. Vice Captain. Deva Group second." Jae-min added.
Sakura — the defector who chose Olympus.
"The Asura Group. Taiwan Samsara Federation Military War Group, self-managed. Captain Kim commands, Vice Captain Lee serves." Jae-min declared, his dark eyes finding Min-joo.
"Min-joo Kim. Captain. Asura Group commander." Jae-min stated.
Min-joo — the Asura captain with black eyes on his girlfriend's face, whose Hell Katana was soulbound.
"Yoona Lee. Vice Captain. Asura Group second." Jae-min added.
Yoona — the vice captain with dark eyes on her captain.
"Five teams. Strike, Command, Medical and Support, R&D, Olympus Defense. Plus the Deva Group and Asura Group, self-managed. The structure is complete. The structure is Olympus." Jae-min declared, his voice the captain's voice.
The household was still. The household that was structured.
"Olympus holds. Olympus organizes. Olympus prepares." Jae-min stated.
"Olympus holds." The household echoed.
— • • • —
Day 368. 11:00 hours.
The central mansion.
The master attic sanctuary.
Third floor.
Private.
The four-meter Double King bed. The reinforced skylights. The onsen. The vault closet. The master attic that was home.
Alessia was downstairs, categorizing Gedo investigators' medical files. The doctor who was five and a half months pregnant and still working. Her glow was warm.
Ji-yoo was at the door.
She'd knocked. She'd spoken through the door — her voice quiet, her dark eyes holding something the household could not read.
"Oppa." Ji-yoo had murmured through the wood. "We need to talk. Alone."
Jae-min had opened the door. The captain who knew the twin's silences. The captain who knew the sharp eyes meant planning. The captain who waited.
The twin had crossed the master attic. Sat on the edge of the Double King bed. Her dark eyes on the snow falling against the skylights.
"Oppa." Ji-yoo began, her voice quiet — not the Preta captain's voice, not the twin's public voice. The sister's voice. "I need to tell you something. I need to ask you something. I need — you."
"I'm here." Jae-min answered, sitting beside her, his dark eyes on her profile. He waited.
"Anna." Ji-yoo breathed, the name landing in the master attic like a stone in deep water.
Her dark eyes were still on the snow. Her voice was steady. Old.
"Anna Smith, Preta vice captain and Rose McDowell's right hand. She's alive. She survived the Federation battle, and Rose McDowell — the Preta captain — survived too." Ji-yoo measured, her fingers lacing together in her lap.
She paused, her jaw tightening.
"The Federation broke at the wall — one hundred and eight came and the compound held — but it did not die. The Chen Family pulled them back to Taiwan, to Samsara headquarters," Ji-yoo continued, her voice low and precise.
Her dark eyes were wet now.
"And Anna went with them. She's in Taiwan at Samsara headquarters with Rose McDowell, still Preta vice captain and the Right Hand. She's still there." Ji-yoo pressed, her voice breaking at the edges.
"Anna. Preta vice captain. You've mentioned her, not by name. The one who—" Jae-min repeated, filing the name.
"Who was my Right Hand. In the first timeline, Anna was my Right Hand, my second, my everything." Ji-yoo finished, her voice dropping. The regressor's voice.
Her hands were shaking.
"The woman who stood at my right shoulder for seven years, held the line when I couldn't, kept me alive, and the one I trusted with my life. My sister — not by blood, by choice." Ji-yoo continued, her voice fracturing.
Jae-min was still. The captain who knew the regression, one of the five. He waited.
"She doesn't know me. In this timeline I never joined Preta, never went to Taiwan, never met her." Ji-yoo forced out, the words coming like glass.
Her dark eyes lifted to his.
"She doesn't know Ji-yoo Del Rosario, the twin, the woman who was her captain and her sister. She doesn't know me. In this timeline, I am a stranger." Ji-yoo whispered, her voice fracturing.
"She won't recognize my face or know my voice. Two years gone — two years of trust, of fighting side by side, of bleeding together — erased. And I remember every second." Ji-yoo realized, the thought cutting through her like a blade.
"She's not corrupt. Anna was never corrupt. She was Preta because it was the only path, and Rose McDowell's vice captain because Rose was the only Preta captain." Ji-yoo insisted, her voice fierce now, her wet eyes snapping to Jae-min.
Her hands clenched.
"Anna did the hunting and the killing, but only because there was no other choice. The world ended and the Federation was all that was left. She believed the Federation was order, that it was safety." Ji-yoo stated, her voice low and certain.
She breathed.
"And the Federation broke. Not died — broke. The assault failed. One hundred and eight against the wall and the wall held. The Federation retreated, but it is not gone." Ji-yoo continued.
Her voice dropped.
"The Federation is Taiwan, Samsara headquarters — still there, still structured, still holding. And Anna is there. She went back with Rose McDowell and the surviving Preta because she is a soldier who obeys, and the Federation is the only structure she knows." Ji-yoo pressed, each word measured.
Her jaw trembled.
"Anna has not yet seen the truth. She still believes the Federation is order and safety. She does not yet know it is the Chen Family, does not yet know it is corruption." Ji-yoo breathed, her voice barely audible.
"She's still in there, still serving and still believing. And I remember every second of what she was, what we were. She remembers nothing." Ji-yoo realized, the thought raw and unguarded.
"And she is in Taiwan. Anna is at Federation headquarters with Rose McDowell and the surviving Preta. Not running, not lost — there. Inside the Federation, inside the structure, inside the thing we have to infiltrate." Ji-yoo finished, her voice quiet again.
Jae-min's dark eyes held the twin. The captain who was reading, who was certain.
"You want to bring her here. You want her as your Right Hand here, in Olympus." Jae-min stated, his voice careful.
"I want her as my Right Hand. She is my Right Hand, always has been and always will be." Ji-yoo confirmed, her voice fierce, her dark eyes fierce.
Her jaw trembled.
"The first timeline is gone and the regression is done. But Anna is Anna. The woman I trust with my life, the one who will hold the line. I just need to bring her here, show her, and give her the choice." Ji-yoo declared, her voice dropping.
"The choice. The Olympus choice we gave the twelve Deva, the forty-six, Corporal Reyes. Ask, not order or conscript." Jae-min repeated, his eyes searching hers.
"Ask. Anna will not be abducted. She will be invited, asked, given the choice." Ji-yoo confirmed, her voice quiet.
Her eyes lifted to his.
"Anna will choose because she trusts me. She will see me — not the knowing of seven years in the first timeline, but the knowing of the moment. The woman who looks at her and says, I see you. I know you. You are not corrupt. You are mine." Ji-yoo insisted, her voice certain and breaking at the same time.
"Please. Let me bring her home. Let me bring my sister home." Ji-yoo pleaded inwardly, the thought raw and unguarded.
Jae-min was still. The captain who was planning.
"Only five know you are a regressor. Me, Alessia, Uncle, Jennifer, Yue." Jae-min stated, his voice careful.
His eyes held hers.
"The Strike Team cannot know, the Command Team cannot know. Haitao cannot know, Mark Jordan cannot know, the woman in white cannot know." Jae-min listed, each name a wall. "The regression is the secret, and it stays the secret."
"The regression stays the secret. Anna will not be told. She will be asked, will be shown the choice, Olympus, the possibility. She will choose because she sees, not because she remembers." Ji-yoo confirmed, her voice certain.
"And if she doesn't choose? If Anna refuses, fights, does not see?" Jae-min pressed, his voice quiet but sharp.
Ji-yoo's dark eyes were wet. Her voice was breaking.
"Then Anna stays. She remains in Taiwan with the Federation, remains Rose McDowell's. I will not force her, break her, or take her. Anna chooses or she stays. The Olympus choice — the only choice." Ji-yoo answered, her voice barely above a whisper.
Jae-min was still for a long moment. The snow fell against the skylights. The master attic was quiet.
Then the captain who was the brother — the man who had watched his sister carry a timeline that no longer existed, who had watched her bleed for a future she'd already lived through once — nodded.
"Three. Me, you, Yue. The infiltration team." Jae-min planned, his voice tactical.
"Three. Not the full Strike Team, not Mark Jordan, not the woman in white, not Gabriel. Why three?" Ji-yoo measured, her voice sharp. Her dark eyes snapped to his, calculating.
"Because three is invisible. Five is a strike force, a declaration, war. Three is a scalpel, infiltration — the team that goes in quiet and comes out quiet." Jae-min answered, his dark eyes steady.
He laid it out — the void tear opens inside Samsara headquarters, the team moves, finds Anna, extracts, and comes back through the tear with no engagement, no fight, no war.
"Me for void, spatial awareness, and the tear. Yue for Space, Blink, and extraction. You for Gravity and Force, CQC, and Anna's contact. The three who speak the language, move quiet, and extract." Jae-min counted.
"Three. The infiltration team." Ji-yoo confirmed, her voice fierce.
"Mei locates Anna. The sensors, the passive sweep. The Gedo decryption keys are still active for twelve more days. Mei uses them to access Samsara's internal sensors, finds Anna inside headquarters, and gives me the coordinates." Jae-min continued, his dark eyes sharp.
"I open the void tear. Three go through, find Anna, extract, and return." Jae-min planned, each word precise.
He paused.
"And the cover. We cannot tell the household the truth. We cannot tell them Anna was Ji-yoo's Right Hand. We cannot tell them about the regression." Jae-min pressed, his voice careful.
His eyes held hers.
"The cover is intelligence and extraction. Anna is a high-value asset, a candidate, the woman we ask. The household hears intelligence, hears extraction, hears the Olympus choice. The household does not hear the regression or the sister." Jae-min declared.
"Intelligence. Anna is a Preta vice captain and a high-value asset. She knows Preta's infrastructure, the survivors, the region. The household hears intelligence and extraction." Ji-yoo confirmed, her voice shifting to the Preta captain's register — clipped, clinical.
Her voice dropped.
"The household does not hear the regression, the first timeline, or the sister." Ji-yoo vowed, her hands clenching.
"Only the five. Only us." Jae-min confirmed.
"Only the five." Ji-yoo echoed, her voice quiet.
The snow fell against the skylights. The master attic, the Double King bed, the twin and the brother. The two who knew, the two who planned.
"When." Jae-min asked, his dark eyes studying her profile.
"Soon. The Federation is regrouping, licking its wounds, and vulnerable. The Chen Family is recalculating and the command structure is in flux. The Preta survivors are being reorganized and Anna is being reassigned." Ji-yoo answered, her voice fierce.
Her jaw tightened.
"The longer we wait, the more the Federation reorganizes, and the harder Anna becomes to reach and extract. Before the Federation stabilizes, before the Chen Family reasserts control, before Anna is buried so deep inside Samsara headquarters that even Mei's sensors cannot find her." Ji-yoo counted, each clause landing like a hammer.
"This week. Mei locates, the infiltration team prepares, the void tear opens, and the extraction executes." Jae-min confirmed.
"This week. Oppa, thank you." Ji-yoo echoed, her voice quiet. Her dark eyes were wet.
"Ji-yoo. She is your sister. She will be here, she will choose, she will stay." Jae-min answered, his hand finding hers. His fingers laced with hers. The fundamental-to-fundamental bond pulsed — warm, steady.
"She will stay." Ji-yoo whispered, her voice breaking. Her hand held the brother's hand. The twin who was the sister, the regressor, asking for her sister.
The snow fell against the skylights.
— • • • —
Day 368. 14:00 hours.
The central mansion.
The command deck.
Level 2.
The twelve-monitor tactical hub. LINDA's primary visual terminal, Mei's workstation — the brain of Olympus where Olympus saw.
Jae-min sat at the head of the table, the captain who was briefing.
The infiltration team was assembled: Ji-yoo and Yue. Three would go, including Jae-min.
The Command Team was assembled: Haitao, James, Elaine, and Mei in her wheelchair with Chocho in her lap, her violet-blue eyes on the tablet.
Mark Jordan was not there, the woman in white was not there, Gabriel was not there. The three who stayed stayed. The three who went went.
Seven people. The infiltration team and the Command Team — the two teams that would plan and execute.
Alessia was not there, categorizing Gedo investigators' medical files in the hospital. Hua was not there, in the kitchen. The Medical and Support Team was working.
"Olympus. The infiltration team and the Command Team are assembled. The briefing is classified and does not leave this room." Jae-min opened, his voice the captain's voice.
The two teams went still.
"Operation — Right Hand. The target is Anna Smith, Preta vice captain and Rose McDowell's right hand." Jae-min declared, his dark eyes sweeping the room.
He laid it out. The Federation had retreated to Taiwan after the failed assault. Rose McDowell was alive, Anna Smith was alive, both at Samsara headquarters. The Federation was regrouping, the Chen Family was recalculating, and the command structure was in flux. Anna Smith was inside Samsara headquarters. The infiltration target was Taiwan.
"Anna Smith. Canadian, thirty-four, Preta vice captain and Rose McDowell's second. The hunter who ran the southern operations." Haitao measured, his rough voice carrying the weight of a man whose intelligence was being accessed. His dark surgical eyes narrowed.
"The woman who held Preta's infrastructure while Rose McDowell held the field. The woman who knew everything, who was the brain, now inside Samsara headquarters with Rose McDowell. She is not running. She is there." Haitao continued, his dark eyes sweeping the table.
"The brain. The woman who knows Preta's infrastructure, the survivors, the region. The intelligence asset we extract." Jae-min confirmed.
"Extract. The operation is extraction, to bring her here — the Olympus choice." James echoed, his warm practiced voice carrying the room.
"The Olympus choice. Anna Smith is not corrupt. She is a soft asset, a candidate — the woman we ask, not abduct or conscript." Jae-min confirmed.
"Ask." The room echoed.
"Mei. Locate Anna Smith. The Gedo decryption keys are still active for twelve more days. Use them to access Samsara's internal sensors and find Anna inside headquarters in the Preta wing. Give me coordinates." Jae-min addressed, his dark eyes finding the divine fundamental.
"Captain. The Gedo decryption keys are accessed, Samsara's internal sensor network is penetrated, the headquarters layout is mapped, and the Preta wing is identified." Mei acknowledged, her violet-blue eyes on the tablet, her fingers already moving.
She paused, scrolling.
"Anna Smith's signature is being isolated inside the wing. I will have coordinates by 18:00 hours." Mei reported, her voice clinical.
"18:00 hours. Mei locates, the infiltration team prepares, and the void tear opens tomorrow. Day 272, dawn. The infiltration team goes through, finds Anna, extracts, and returns." Jae-min confirmed.
"Tomorrow." The room echoed.
"The infiltration team. Jae-min for Space and Time, spatial awareness, the tear, the exit, the extraction point. The True Marksman if engagement is forced." Jae-min continued, his dark eyes sweeping the three.
"Ji-yoo — Gravity and Force, CQC, Anna's contact. Ji-yoo is the one who speaks, the one who asks." Jae-min directed, his eyes finding the twin.
Ji-yoo's dark eyes held his. The twin who was the sister, who was certain.
"Yue — Space, Blink, extraction. If the extraction goes wrong, Yue Blinks Anna out or Blinks the team out." Jae-min continued.
Yue nodded. The marble woman who would blink.
"Three. The team that moves quiet, extracts, and returns." Jae-min summarized.
The three absorbed. The three who would go.
"The cover is intelligence and extraction. Anna is a high-value asset, a candidate. The cover is the Olympus choice. The household hears intelligence and extraction, not more." Jae-min pressed, his dark eyes on the room.
The room was still. The room understood, did not ask more, and trusted.
"Ji-yoo. Anna's contact. You will speak to Anna, ask, and give the choice. Jae-min holds the tear, Yue holds the extraction. The team does not engage unless Anna refuses." Jae-min addressed, his eyes finding the twin.
He laid it out — if Anna chooses, the team escorts her back through the tear. If she refuses, the team withdraws through the tear. No force, no violence, no abduction. The Olympus choice.
"The Olympus choice." Ji-yoo confirmed, her voice the Preta captain's register — clipped, clinical. The twin who was the contact, who was the sister.
"Captain. Anna Smith — intelligence. The woman knows everything: Preta's infrastructure, cells, assets, safehouses, contacts." Haitao addressed, his rough voice carrying the weight of a man whose intelligence was being added.
His dark surgical eyes swept the room.
"The woman extracted gives Olympus Preta's entire network, the region's intelligence map, the eyes we do not have." Haitao declared.
"The eyes we do not have. Olympus holds, trades, and sees. Anna Smith gives Olympus the eyes." Jae-min confirmed.
"Captain. Anna Smith is inside Samsara headquarters — not running, not lost, embedded. The Federation is regrouping, the command structure is reorganizing, and the Preta survivors are being reassigned." James added, his warm practiced voice carrying the room.
His voice tightened.
"The longer we wait, the deeper Anna is buried and the harder she is to extract. The Federation will stabilize, reassert control, and deploy Anna. The woman is running out of time. The extraction is time-sensitive." James continued.
"Time-sensitive. Tomorrow at dawn the infiltration team goes, extracts, and returns — before the Federation stabilizes, before the Chen Family reasserts control, before Anna disappears into the structure." Jae-min confirmed.
"Mei. 18:00 hours for coordinates. The infiltration team prepares tonight, the void tear opens tomorrow at dawn, and the extraction executes." Jae-min addressed, his dark eyes finding the divine fundamental.
"Captain." Mei acknowledged, her violet-blue eyes on the tablet. Her fingers were moving. The divine fundamental who was the brain, who was filing.
The briefing was done. The seven dismissed.
Ji-yoo's dark eyes found Jae-min across the table. The twin who was the sister, the regressor, asking for her sister.
The captain who was the brother, whose dark eyes held, who was certain.
Tomorrow. Dawn. The void tear. The infiltration team. The extraction.
Anna Smith. The Right Hand.

Day 368. 19:00 hours.
The central mansion.
The Atrium.
The narra table.
Dinner.
The household assembled. They had been briefed partially — had heard intelligence, extraction, the Olympus choice. They had not heard the regression or the sister.
Hua's rice, soup, and fish — which was good.
Marie was not at the table. She was in the master suite, the mother who had given birth twenty-six hours ago, resting and recovering with the IV still in her hand and her son on her chest. Rico was with Marie. Little Jae-min was one day old.
The uncle's chair at Jae-min's right was empty, the auntie's chair beside it empty. The household was adjusting.
Jae-min sat at the head with Alessia on his lap — five and a half months pregnant, the glow warm. Ji-yoo was on Jae-min's left, her dark eyes sharp. She'd spent the afternoon in the command deck with Mei, penetrating Samsara's internal sensors. She had the coordinates and was ready.
Min-joo was beside Ji-yoo, his black eyes on her face. He knew the twin's silences, knew she was planning, and was waiting.
"Tomorrow at dawn, the infiltration team deploys. Operation — Right Hand. Intelligence extraction." Jae-min opened, his voice the captain's voice.
The household went still.
"The target is Anna Smith, Preta vice captain and Rose McDowell's right hand. The woman who survived the Federation's failed assault, retreated to Taiwan, and is inside Samsara headquarters. The woman Olympus asks." Jae-min continued, his dark eyes sweeping the table.
The household listened. They had heard the cover.
"Anna Smith is not corrupt. She is a soft asset, a candidate — the woman we ask. The infiltration team goes, infiltrates Taiwan, finds her, extracts, and asks." Jae-min stated, his voice firm.
He paused.
"The Olympus choice. Ask, not abduct or conscript." Jae-min declared.
"Ask." The household echoed.
"The infiltration team is three: Jae-min, Ji-yoo, Yue. Not the full Strike Team. Three — the team that moves quiet, infiltrates, and extracts." Jae-min announced, his eyes finding the three.
He laid it out — the void tear opens inside Samsara headquarters, three go through, find Anna, extract, and return. No engagement, no war. Three.
"Three." The household echoed.
"Mei has located Anna and confirmed coordinates. Anna is in Taiwan at Samsara headquarters. The Gedo decryption keys are still active for twelve more days. Mei used them to access Samsara's internal sensors and found Anna inside headquarters in the Preta wing, the section Rose McDowell commands." Jae-min added, his eyes finding Mei.
"Captain. Anna Smith is an intelligence asset. The woman knows everything — Preta's infrastructure, cells, assets. The woman extracted gives Olympus the eyes, the Federation, the intelligence map." Haitao addressed, his rough voice carrying the weight of confirmed intelligence.
"The asset. Olympus sees, extracts, and asks." Jae-min confirmed.
"Olympus asks." The household echoed.
The dinner continued. The household ate and prepared.
The snow fell against the skylights. Seven women were still carrying — Hua eight and a half months, Alessia five and a half months, Elaine nearly eight, Paolo's four all at eight months. Seven more coming, seven more firsts, seven more lives.
The next generation of Olympus — the generation that would be born and grow up inside the wall, that would never know minus seventy or the world before. The generation that was Olympus.
The dinner ended. The household dispersed, preparing and resting.
Jae-min's dark eyes found the twin. The captain, who was the brother, who knew the regression, the sister, Anna, and was ready.
Ji-yoo's dark eyes found the brother. The twin who was the sister, the regressor, who knew Anna, was ready, and was waiting.
Tomorrow. Dawn. The void tear, the infiltration team, the extraction.
Anna Smith. The Right Hand. The sister.
The snow fell against the skylights. The central mansion, the narra table, the household. The baby — upstairs in the hospital, in the master suite, on his father's chest.
Olympus held, organized, and prepared.
Tomorrow — the infiltration.
Tomorrow — the void.
Tomorrow — Taiwan.
Tomorrow — Anna.
Olympus held.
