Chapter 2 - Chapter 34: Age of The Governors

Four years had passed since Siddik's disappearance. Yet his shadow still guided the world he had rebuilt. The Governors, handpicked by Siddik himself, continued his mission – restoring peace through the Spiral Accord. For the first time in decades, humanity began to hope again.

People who once thought peace was just a word in the dictionary now dared to believe in it. Some praised Siddik's vision. Others still blamed him for his ruthless methods. But everyone – friend or foe – lived in the world he left behind.

ASIA – The Burden of Legacy

Governor Tayeb ruled Asia from his stronghold in Turkey. His leadership was guided by Siddik's laws – fair, firm, unyielding. The people adored his honesty, though whispers of hatred still rose among those who once fought against Siddik. Every morning, Tayeb looked toward the horizon, wondering if the man who saved the world was still alive somewhere beyond it.

North America – The Loyal Guardian

Rafiq, Siddik's most obedient follower, ruled from Canada. His reign was calm, his people content. He never questioned Siddik's actions–not then, not now. But sometimes, in the dead of night, he wondered if his faith had blinded him to the truth.

South America – The Seeker

In the green heart of Brazil, Rafi led his continent not as a ruler – but as a man on a mission. His private scouts and drones searched day and night for Siddik.

No trace, No signal.

Still, he refused to believe his friend, his buddy was gone. "A man like Siddik can't die like this," he often whispered, "he waits."

Europe – The Enforcer

From Italy, Joseph ruled with precision and steel. Once destined to lead the Revenants, he now commanded through order and law. He didn't serve out of love – but out of duty. "The Accord is the law. Siddik is gone. The world must move on," he told his council, through his voice lacked conviction.

Africa – The Iron Hand of Faith

Musa, Siddik's right hand in war, sat in the throne room of Egypt. In the early years, he was challenged – betrayed even. But after crushing a rebellion with unmatched force, the people followed him like a leader. Musa always spoke using sign language, but his eyes carried the same quiet power Siddik once had.

Antarctica – The Silent Watcher

Far from the noise of civilization, Zaber, the former revenants commander, ruled the icy fortress of Antarctica. No one knew what he was guarding – or waiting for – but Siddik's last encrypted message had been sent only to him. And it was just three words: "I am watching."

A blizzard roared across the Antarctica plateau as the Governors assembled in Zaber's stronghold. The meeting room was cold and silent, the kind of silence that carried the weight of ghosts.

Tayeb broke it first.

Tayeb: "Four years, guys. No sign of him. Sometimes I fear… he's gone."

Zaber: "Siddik doesn't vanish. He moves where he's needed."

Joseph: "Or maybe he's dead, and we're just following a ghost's dream."

Rafi: "He's Siddik. He's the dream."

Rafiq: "Rumors say Samia Ehsan was seen with him three years ago."

Musa raised his hand, his sign language calm but sharp: "Siddik doesn't need us. He only needs Allah on his side."

Joseph: "Then where did he go?"

Zaber: "He's where he belongs. But one thing I want to ask you, Tayeb. What made you stand with Siddik in the war? Like your all friends stood against him, but you chose to walk with him. Why?"

Tayeb: "I have seen many things. An experiment made me a monster. Siddik did it. For few years I was kept in an iron cell. Then Siddik made me free from it by taking the risk on himself. Then I was free to explore the world. I saw many ups and downs, people fight for self-interest. But Siddik made the change. So, I walk with him."

A tense silence filled the chamber. Then Tayeb spoke again, voice steady but heavy.

"Hasan Brother has invited us to Spiral Island. He wishes to meet us and celebrate our progress. We leave tomorrow."

Zaber nodded. "It's time."

Rafi: "Good. I need some resources. I will take them."

Rafiq: "Tayeb, why did you shoot Rasel? And why did Fakhrul shoot Nafisa?"

Tayeb: "I don't about him. But I shot Rasel because I had to save Siddik. Rasel had some issues with Siddik's past life. He was planning to take down Siddik from the first day he met."

Zaber: "What issues?"

Tayeb: "He never told me about that. But he always said that Siddik must die. If he survives, he'll change the world system. He predicted Siddik's idea when he spared Grok's life instead of killing. And he met someone after the war."

Zaber: "Whom?"

Tayeb: "I didn't see the face. But he was tall, wearing a blue cloak. His face was fully covered with a special kind of mask."

Zaber: "Joseph, find Arthur."

Joseph: "Why do you need him?"

Zaber: "You'll know."

The next morning, their ships cut through calm but blue waters. Spiral Island appeared on the horizon – reborn and alive. Flags of peace fluttered in the wind. Children ran through the streets wearing costumes of HUNTERS. The scars of war had faded, but the memories hadn't.

Hasan, now King of Spiral Island, stood with Fakhrul, Zara, Hridoy, and Darwin to welcome the. The day turned into celebration – laughter, music, and rememberance.

In the afternoon, the Spiral children performed a play: HUNTERS vs Grok.

When the young actors playing Nafisa and Rasel appeared, Fakhrul's eyes welled up. Tayeb turned away, haunted by memory. And when a boy appeared dressed as Siddik, standing tall and fearless, Hasan couldn't hold back his tears.

"He was a ruler," Hasan whispered to Sara, his wife, "but he never wanted the throne."

Sara smiled softly.

"Maybe he left because he trusted you to hold it."

That night, the grand hall echoed with laughter, stories, and wine. But Hasan's voice cut through it all.

Hasan: "My brothers, I called you here for something important. During a reconstruction near the coast, we found a sealed vault… containing an old file. It's titled 'The Revenants 2.0.' Rafiq, do you know about this?"

Rafiq: "No, he never mentioned or talked about like this."

Hasan placed the dusty file on the table. Zaber opened it – inside were complex sketches, chemical formulas, and mechanical parts drawn by hand.

Zaber: "This isn't a weapon. It's… evolution. Human and machine as one."

Rafiq: "But why didn't he take it when he left?"

Fakhrul: "Maybe he abandoned the idea."

Rafi: "Or maybe someone else was meant to finish it."

Darwin: "He once told me he'd create an army that would never die. I thought he was joking."

Hridoy: "If he died before finishing it… what if someone else finds this?"

Joseph: "Then should we burn the idea and the files?"

Zaber: "No, if he returns someday, he'll search it. And if he doesn't find, it'll be a problem."

Hasan: "Then what should we do with this?"

Zaber: "I will keep it safe."

Joseph: "Zaber, why did you tell me to find Arthur?"

Zaber: "Because he was the guy, who walked with Siddik like a shadow. He was with him from his childhood."

Hasan: "Are you talking about Arthur Kyle?"

Zaber: "Yes, Sir."

Fakhrul: "Who is he?"

Zaber: "Arthur Kyle, Kyle was his title. His family spent their whole life protecting the throne of Spiral Island. Arthur Kyle…Siddik's shadow. The man who knew every secret, every blueprint, every code. When Siddik built the Revenants, Arthur was with him. He was one of the most trusted man of Siddik. By the way, Arthur was a scientist also, better than Rafi."

Rafi: "I totally agree."

Darwin: "I thought it was Musa. Because Siddik always kept him with him."

Zaber: "Yes, Musa was appointed by the King. But Siddik himself kept Arthur with him. Arthur is old now. He disappeared with us. But the fact is, we returned then why not Arthur."

Hasan: "If he's with Siddik, then they are doing something what the world will remember."

Zaber: "That's why I'm searching for him. As Siddik isn't with us, then he's with him."

Rafiq: "Hey Brother Fakhrul, may I ask you something?"

Fakhrul: "Yes, go ahead."

Rafiq: "Why did you shoot Nafisa? Tell us the truth today."

Fakhrul: "I'm still figuring out."

Zara: "Rafiq, where are the zombies that Siddik created?"

Rafiq: "I don't know. I thought he told you about that. Why? Anything happened?"

Zara: "No, just asking."

The hall grew quiet. The candles flickered, shadows dancing across the marble floor.

Hasan: "May Allah bless him – if he's dead. But if he's alive… may Allah protect those who stand against him."

A sudden wind swept through the hall, snuffing out the flames. The silhouette faded, but the message remained — peace never lasts where Siddik walks.
