"Great Flame Commandment: Flame Emperor!"
Infinite fire converged as Ace manifested a gargantuan sun-like sphere of flame. The sheer atmospheric pressure it exuded was suffocating.
"This is..." Sabo watched intently, knowing Ace was demonstrating his ultimate technique so Sabo could grasp the advanced applications of the Mera Mera no Mi. They both knew what was at stake!
Aokiji sensed a dire crisis radiating from the massive sphere of fire. His expression turned deadly serious.
"Ice Age!"
A mountain of ice collided with the sea of fire!
In the end, the flames and the ice vanished simultaneously—a perfect stalemate. Sabo appeared deep in thought, processing the exchange. He then attempted to unleash his own high-intensity flames, turning the fight into a two-on-one. Faced with two Flame-Flame Fruit users, Aokiji was immediately forced into a defensive, passive position.
Meanwhile, Drake was racing toward Kenshin's location, which had been completely surrounded.
Seeing the aggressive Akainu, Drake's lip twitched. His Haki was nearly depleted from the earlier fighting; in this state, he might not be able to stop the Admiral. Without a second thought, he pulled out the fruit he had received as a mission reward, closed his eyes, and took a massive, determined bite.
He didn't dare keep his eyes open. That Devil Fruit looked... well, it looked like a literal pile of dung.
"Hey... look! What is that guy eating?" a Marine shouted, pointing at Drake.
Countless eyes turned toward him. They saw Drake charging forward while frantically stuffing something into his mouth.
"Hiss... even if I were starving to death, I wouldn't eat... that!"
Marines and pirates alike sucked in a cold breath of horror. This guy is a savage! Don't mess with him... stay far away...
The Marines actually began to clear a path, terrified of the man who would eat such a thing. Drake wanted to cry. He didn't want to eat it either, but the moment it hit his tongue, an exotic, wonderful fragrance flooded his senses. He began to salivate uncontrollably and devoured the rest of the fruit in seconds.
Once finished, he even licked his lips and fingers, determined not to waste a single drop of juice. To the Marines, this was a nightmare: he ate "it," and then he licked it clean. How hungry could one man be?
Drake, however, was buzzing with excitement. He finally understood this power. It was magnificent. His gaze toward Akainu was no longer heavy with dread; it was playful.
"Lightning Shield!"
Kenshin threw up a web of electricity, which Akainu immediately met with a colossal magma fist.
BOOM!
The lightning web vanished instantly. Kenshin swung his blade, lightning flickering along the edge, but he was forced to skid backward across the ice. His face darkened. Akainu's raw power was overwhelming; his lightning was barely scratching the Admiral. If not for the speed of the Goro Goro no Mi, he would have been killed ten times over.
The "Greatest Military Power" of the Marines was no joke!
"Get out of my way if you want to live. I'm only interested in Straw Hat," Akainu said, looking down at Kenshin with icy indifference.
"Heh..." Kenshin smirked, tightening his grip on his hilt. "Not a chance!"
"Fine! Then I'll show you the true gap between us!" Akainu erupted with boiling magma and acrid black smoke.
While Luffy was being swarmed by rank-and-file Marines, Drake spiraled through the air above them.
"Suppress!"
In a flash, every Marine surrounding Luffy was pinned to the ground, unable to move a muscle.
"Luffy, wait for me."
Drake lunged toward Akainu. At the same time, Ivankov and Jinbe reached Luffy's side to act as his guard.
"Iva! Jinbe!" Luffy cheered.
"Luffy, we've got Ace. It's time to get out of here!"
"Yeah!" Luffy nodded heavily, a wide grin on his face. "But we have to wait for the others."
The trio watched Drake and Kenshin.
"Fish-Man Karate: Arabesque Tile Punch!" Boom! "Death Wink!" Boom! "Gomu Gomu no... Whip!"
As they cleared the "mobs," they kept their eyes on the confrontation with the Admiral.
BOOM!
Akainu's magma broke through Kenshin's defenses, a fist slamming into Kenshin's chest. Drake swooped in, catching Kenshin as he was sent flying.
"You okay?"
"I'm fine!" Kenshin coughed up a bit of blood, his clothes charred and tattered.
"Leave him to me."
Drake stepped forward, blocking Akainu's path.
"Brat, who are you?" Akainu asked, looming over him.
"Luffy's big brother," Drake replied with a smirk. "When you have a younger brother who causes this much trouble, a big brother tends to worry."
"Hmph." Akainu remained impassive. "Then I'll ensure you stay here forever!"
"Hellhound!" A magma fist roared toward Drake. This was the same move that had dealt a devastating blow to Whitebeard; Akainu was clearly looking for a quick kill.
Drake, however, stood as steady as a mountain. As everyone held their breath in anticipation of the impact, Drake slowly raised his right hand.
"Suppress."
CRASH!
The charging Akainu was suddenly slammed face-first into the ice. It felt as if ten thousand tons of weight had been dropped onto his back, crushing the air from his lungs. Even his magma couldn't dissipate under the pressure. It felt like gravity, yet it was something else entirely.
"What... what kind of power is this!?"
"This is..." Jinbe and Ivankov stared at the suppressed Admiral, speechless.
"Whoa!" Luffy shouted. "What happened?"
To suppress a Marine Admiral with a casual wave of the hand—what kind of monster was Drake?
"Straw Hat-boy, your brother's strength is... unusual," Ivankov remarked, stunned.
Jinbe's expression was equally grave. None of these four brothers were normal; they were all monsters. But this Drake was the most enigmatic of all—they still couldn't even name his ability.
"Is he really your brother, Luffy?"
"Yeah! Of course!" Luffy chirped, then his face fell. "But just like Sabo, we thought he was... waaaah..." At the thought of their reunion, Luffy started wailing again, his words becoming unintelligible.
Ivankov: "..." Jinbe managed a weak smile.
CRACK!
The sound of something breaking echoed, and Akainu forced himself back to his feet.
"What was that!?" Akainu growled, his face dark. Blood leaked from the corner of his mouth. He didn't know how many times he had been made to bleed today, and his fury had reached its boiling point.
He knew it wasn't just gravity. It felt like a physical object had pinned him down, something even his magma couldn't melt. Facing a power he didn't understand, even Akainu felt a flicker of caution.
"Well..." Drake tilted his head, seemingly thinking it over for a long time. Then he flashed a brilliant grin. "I'm not telling you."
Akainu's face stiffened in rage.
Are you mad? Does it bother you?
I'm not telling.
