Chapter 11 - Chapter 11: The Golden Cage and the Crimson Scar

The Silence After the Storm ๐ŸŒช๏ธ๐Ÿคซ

The cafeteria at Saint Jude's Academy had never been so quiet. Usually, the air was filled with the clinking of expensive silverware and the hushed whispers of the elite, but now, only the sound of heavy breathing remained. ๐Ÿซ๐Ÿ’จ

Prince stood over Liam, his knuckles bruised and reddening. ๐Ÿ‘Š๐Ÿฉธ He looked like a dark god who had just defended his throne. Liam was on the ground, wiping a streak of blood from his lip, his eyes still burning with defiance. ๐Ÿ˜ ๐Ÿ›ก๏ธ

"Don't ever," Prince hissed, his voice like sliding silk over a sharp blade, "think that your family's bank account makes you equal to me. She is not a 'thing' to be debated. She is mine." ๐Ÿ‘‘๐Ÿ”—

Baby Doll stood a few feet away, her hands trembling so violently that she had to tuck them into the sleeves of Prince's oversized blazer. ๐Ÿงฅโ„๏ธ She felt like she was trapped in a nightmare where the walls were closing in. Every student was filming this. Within minutes, her face would be all over the school's private forums. ๐Ÿ“ฑ๐Ÿ˜ฑ

The Forced Departure ๐ŸŽ๏ธ๐Ÿ’จ

Prince didn't wait for a reply. He turned around, his eyes locking onto Baby Doll. The anger that had been directed at Liam vanished, replaced by an even more terrifying intensityโ€”pure, unadulterated possession. ๐Ÿ‘๏ธ๐Ÿ–ค

"We're leaving," he commanded. It wasn't a suggestion. ๐Ÿšซ๐Ÿ‘Ÿ

He grabbed her wrist. His grip wasn't painful, but it was firm, like a shackle made of warm velvet. ๐Ÿค๐Ÿ”’ He led her through the crowd of students, who parted like the Red Sea. No one dared to look him in the eye. No one dared to help the girl who looked like she was being led to her execution. ๐Ÿšถโ€โ™‚๏ธ๐Ÿšถโ€โ™€๏ธ๐Ÿข

Outside, the sleek, black sports car was waiting. ๐Ÿš—๐ŸŒ‘ The engine roared to life like a caged beast. Prince opened the door and practically lifted Baby Doll into the leather seat. ๐ŸŽ๏ธ๐Ÿ’จ He slammed the door, walked around to the driver's side, and peeled out of the parking lot, leaving a cloud of smoke and broken reputations behind. ๐Ÿ’จ๐Ÿ”ฅ

The Private Sanctuary ๐Ÿฐ๐ŸŒฒ

For twenty minutes, neither of them spoke. The only sound was the hum of the engine and the rapid thumping of Baby Doll's heart. ๐Ÿ’“๐Ÿ”Š She watched the familiar city buildings disappear, replaced by the lush, dark greenery of the outskirts. ๐ŸŒณ๐Ÿ›ฃ๏ธ

"Where are we going, Prince?" she finally whispered, her voice cracking. ๐Ÿฅบโ“

"Somewhere quiet," he replied, his eyes fixed on the road. "Somewhere where people don't try to take what belongs to me." ๐Ÿ”๏ธ๐Ÿคซ

They pulled up to a secluded estateโ€”a modern glass-and-stone mansion tucked away behind high iron gates. ๐Ÿฐโœจ This wasn't the main family home; this was Prince's private sanctuary. ๐Ÿ—๏ธ๐Ÿ

He led her inside to a balcony that overlooked a private lake. The sun was beginning to set, casting long, orange shadows across the floor. ๐ŸŒ…๐Ÿงก

The Breaking Point ๐Ÿ’”๐ŸŒฉ๏ธ

"Why did you do that?" Baby Doll suddenly burst out, the tears finally overflowing. ๐Ÿ˜ญ๐ŸŒŠ "Liam was just trying to be nice! You can't just hit people because they talk to me! I'm not a doll, Prince! I'm a human being!" ๐Ÿ—ฃ๏ธ๐Ÿšซ

Prince stopped. He turned slowly, his silhouette dark against the sunset. ๐Ÿ‘ค๐ŸŒ‘ He walked toward her until she was backed against the glass railing. He placed his hands on either side of her, trapping her. ๐Ÿ–๏ธ๐Ÿ“๐Ÿ–๏ธ

"You think he was being nice?" Prince laughed, but there was no joy in it. ๐ŸŽญโ„๏ธ "He wanted to see me lose my temper. He wanted to play the hero so you would look at him the way you look at me. And I don't share, Baby Doll. Not even a glance." ๐Ÿฆ๐Ÿ‘‘

He reached out and gently traced the line of her jaw. "You are my peace in this chaotic world. Do you have any idea how much I had to fight to keep you?" ๐Ÿ—ก๏ธ๐Ÿ›ก๏ธ

The Crimson Scar (The Secret Revealed) ๐Ÿคซ๐Ÿฉธ

Prince began to unbutton the top of his shirt. Baby Doll gasped, turning her head away, but he caught her chin. "Look," he commanded. ๐Ÿ‘๏ธ๐Ÿ‘‡

On his collarbone was a jagged, old scar. It looked like it had been made by something sharp and cruel. โš”๏ธ๐Ÿค•

"This," Prince whispered, "is what happened the last time I let someone get too close to what I loved. My father's enemies didn't just want money; they wanted to break me. They took someone from me because I was 'careless' enough to let them stand alone." ๐ŸŒ‘๐Ÿš๏ธ

He leaned down, his forehead resting against hers. ๐Ÿ’†โ€โ™‚๏ธ๐Ÿ’†โ€โ™€๏ธ "I am not being a tyrant because I hate you. I am being a tyrant because the world is full of people like Liam who think they can play games with your life. I will burn this entire city to the ground before I let a single hair on your head be touched." ๐Ÿ”ฅ๐Ÿ™๏ธThe Choice That Isn't a Choice โš–๏ธ๐ŸŒ‘

Baby Doll looked into his eyes and saw the pain beneath the power. ๐Ÿฅบ๐Ÿ–ค For a moment, she felt a dangerous wave of sympathy. He wasn't just a monster; he was a boy who had been broken by his own crown. ๐Ÿ‘‘๐Ÿ’”

But then she remembered the way he had looked at Liam. The way he looked at herโ€”like a prize, not a person. ๐Ÿ†๐Ÿšซ

"You're scaring me, Prince," she whispered. ๐Ÿ˜ฐ

"Good," he murmured, his lips brushing her ear. ๐ŸŒฌ๏ธ๐Ÿ‘‚ "Fear keeps you close. Love keeps you trapped. I'll take both." โ›“๏ธโค๏ธ

The Cliffhanger โณ๐ŸŽฌ

Suddenly, Prince's phone buzzed on the marble table. He glanced at the screen, and his entire face went pale. ๐Ÿ“ฑโšช๏ธ

It was a message from an unknown number. Attached was a photo of Baby Doll, taken just five minutes ago, through a telescope. ๐Ÿ”ญ๐Ÿ“ธ

The caption read: "She looks beautiful in the moonlight. Too bad cages have bars that can be cut." โœ‚๏ธโ›“๏ธ

Prince gripped the phone so hard the screen cracked. ๐Ÿ’ฅ๐Ÿ“ฑ He realized that Liam wasn't the only rival he had to worry about. Someone else was watching. Someone who knew exactly where his "Baby Doll" was hidden.
