About half a year passed since him and Winter met. And she started messaging and calling him... a lot. Multiple times a day. It wasn't all bad. Even when she was mad, her voice was still so alluring to listen to. He even joked how she had to be a succubi at one point. However, about a month ago, she tried to meet up again, and two months before that. She was a no show every single time.
She asked to meet again, but he told her he was busy. She seemed... annoyed. She asked him if what he was doing was more important than her, but he asked her if she felt the same since she never showed up to see him. Silence. Ghosted.
However, the next day, he got a ring on his doorbell. And when he went to the door, it was Winter. He was shocked and confused.
"So this is your house?" She asked rhetorical while looking around. "It's so small. I kind of like it."
"H-How did you find out where I lived?"
"... You told me a long time ago?"
"I-I did?"
"Yeah, about 4 in a half months ago."
"You remember that?"
"Yeah."
That was a lie. She really just hacked into his phone to track down where he lived. Money can buy anything after all, even private information like that. But Acro was none the wiser.
"W-Why are you here?"
"To make it up to you. I'm sorry for always canceling on you all the time. I really don't mean to. I do care a lot, actually."
"Um, well... I uh..."
"What, is this a bad time?"
"N-No, sure come in."
She looked at him suspiciously, but nevertheless, she let it go. She came in, and he offered for dinner, but she refused. She told him she'd not asked him for anything. She was actually here for a different reason. She pulled out eBay, Amazon, and Aliexpress on her phone.
"Spend no less than 100,000 dollars."
"W-What?!"
"You heard me. Buy no less than 100,00 dollars worth of stuff."
"W-Why?"
"This is my repentance. For always not showing up to our planned events. You're wasted in total around 5 hours of your time. So, 20,000 for every hour."
"I-Isn't that a bit much?"
"For my one and only friend. No. Now, start spending."
"I-I don't know..."
"What do you mean 'you don't know?'"
"That's just a lot of money. I don't know what to spend it on. I'm axmctually pretty content with my life."
"Ok, a car it is."
"What?"
That car you drive in is practically a walking death trap."
"It's a nice Honda."
"It's unworthy of you. You dare sit your butt of that seat. When you could be sitting on my fac-"
She stopped herself mid sentence.
"What?"
"Never mind. Just please buy something. I'll die of guilty you don't."
"All I need is your friendship."
"You're too sweet for your own good. It's insufferable sometimes... Fine then. I'm buying your house."
"W-What?"
"Starting today, this will be my second house, and I'll start living with you."
"D-Don't you think you're being a little extreme?"
"Missing 4 dates with you is also extreme."
"Dates?"
"... Or friend meetings. Whatever you want to call them."
"I'm telling you, it's alright. It was a little annoying on my end, but I understand your job prevents you-"
"You know what, I'll also buy you a new tv while I'm at it. I'l also get you some new appliances. A fridge, a washing machine, a dishwasher, an oven-"
"You're not going take no for an answer, are you."
"No."
"Also, are you not wearing makeup up."
She blushed and turned away shyly.
"Is.. it that noticable."
"No, I only noticed because your eye bags are gone. That's really the only difference. And I doubt you got good sleep."
"... Do I look bad?"
"No, you still looked incredible."
She started twirling her hair.
"You know, someone once told me that I had breeding hips in my comment section. Wanna test them out?"
"A-"
"Kidding!" her voice seemed to go back to her default Springfield shy voice completely. "I was just kidding. S-Sorry for the bad joke."
"You're fine... You wanna just watch anime together."
"Fine. But I am going to buy you something to make up for those 3 missed dates."
The two watched anime together on a couch. And as they did, he noticed her looked at him constantly. She even got dangerously close to him. They were practically touching each other.
She left. However, the next day, 5 dudes in 2 trucks pulled up outside his door to give him several appliances. And he knew exactly where they came from. He just took them without complaining.
Also, despite seeing him, Winter wouldn't stop apologizing to him. He told her it was ok, but she didn't seem to think so. Her boss also said she had to stop meeting with him. So, they met less often than they already did. However, she'd always come by his house randomly, usually with a ridiculously expensive gift in tow that she wouldn't let him refuse. She was getting quite comfortable around him.
