The removal line brightened along the gauntlet's forefinger while Hajin still gripped Didi's exhausted sword hand.
"Oh no you don't, you tin-plated creep—!"
He whipped the Chain around the attacking wrist and dragged the gauntlet away from her through his three active Rings. The links crushed its fingers before their instruction reached Didi's marked hand, and every kneeling body stayed clear of contact.
Hajin let the broken wrist drop once its current fled ahead of the spreading crack.
A northern cabinet opened without a key, and lamplight spilled through the procession armor as the broken gauntlet clanged down. Its visor rose while Didi's three Shards stayed under command, and the removal angle jumped vessels without a single pause.
"You've got to be kidding me."
