The first support pin fell past Hajin's feet before he even reached the western gallery's lower landing.
Three rods tore free along the aisle as undercroft impacts answered, and all eight shells withdrew carrying the stolen pins. Loccy drove her hammer beneath the widening vault joint while Didi hauled an archivist clear of the falling stone's shadow.
Hajin caught the landing rail as the ceiling started sliding down toward the gallery, "Shit, shit, the whole damn roof's coming!"
Loccy planted both feet west of the transcription threshold and opened three Wings through the vault, undercroft ceiling and plinths. The eastern doorway stayed outside her declared structure, keeping its escape lane separate from the burden falling onto her hammer.
She braced the hammer above her head as the first lintel slammed into its haft.
"Everything west of the marker comes through me," she bellowed, driving her heels into the paving, "the eastern threshold stays outside, so cross it now!"
