"You can have your seat, Lady Katherine and her assistant". The ruler said to us, and I helped the seer to sit down, before I sat down beside her.

My name wasn't even known by the chosen family, but it was labeled as the seer's assistant.

"Feel free to talk before me, Lady Katherine. It was reported to me that you have something important to discuss with me concerning the book of prophecy you have been guarding this whole time". The ruler said to the lady seer, Katherine.
Most of the time of their discussion, I made sure to lower my gaze to the floor, because of the way noble lady Gemma, who was wearing a light pink gown that matched her blonde hair, could not stop staring at me with disgust in her eyes.
She was the last child and only daughter of the ruler and his wife. I had heard rumors about her being mean, but most especially, I couldn't wrap my head around why she hated me so much.
She simply could not stand the sight of me, and that always made me dumbstruck and kept on wondering to myself, searching for an answer. I wanted to know if I had done anything wrong to her to deserve the hatred she tirelessly harbored towards me.
I bet she was under control at the moment and couldn't display her hatred for me because she was in the presence of her parents.
"The book of prophecy has been opened. I also think that what I am about to tell you had something to do with the earthquake that happened earlier".
Lady Katherine said to the ruler, and even though my gaze was lowered to the floor almost the whole time, I didn't fail to see the stunned look on the ruler's face before his face returned to being serious.
"The book of prophecy that had shut itself for years had unlocked itself?". He asked lady Katherine, and she nodded at him.
Before she continued to say to him, "It wasn't exactly the whole pages of the book of prophecy that unlocked itself, but only the first page. The child is here. These were the words written on the first page".
Lady Katherine's words not only shocked the chosen family, but they also shocked me. The child is here?
I heard about this story a few years ago.
The story went like this… When the book of prophecy had not yet shut itself, it revealed that there would be a child born in Selitopian, in the kingdom of Gwafindol.
A child who would possess the entire powers of Selitopian itself, and whoever could get married to her would have the power to control and rule the entire world of Selitopian with her.
The prophecy was kept as a secret initially by the Gwafindol's chosen family, since the book of prophecy was under their control, but was guarded by the seers, who were the ones able to interpret the strange language written in the book of prophecy. Sadly, a secret can't be hidden forever.
The prophecy, meant to be kept as a secret by the chosen family of Gwafindol, leaked out somehow, and everyone began to await the child, also plotting ways to make the child fall under their control.
Maybe it was because of the greed of the world, that the book of prophecy locked itself. But before that, it gave a last prophecy.
It stated that a sign would be shown to the entire world upon the arrival of the child.
So that means…
"If the child of prophecy is here, then that means the earthquake was the sign of her arrival. Father, we shouldn't delay. We should search the entire city for any newly born children, before others get their hands on her". I lifted my head and stared at Jay the instant I heard him talk.
He was not only dreamy but was equally very smart.
How could someone be so perfect? Was that not illegal?
