Sure enough, Luo Geng shook his head. "Official registration for the Trial Tournament is next weekend. After that, we all have to move into the housing they arrange for us. We can't leave until the tournament is over."
Milady feigned a look of sudden realization. "I haven't been following the Trial Tournament, so I'd completely forgotten. What a shame. Has our family's team been finalized?"
"You're looking at them," Luo Geng said, gesturing with his hand. "Just the few of us, for what it's worth."
Milady froze, and her heart sank.
She was still too far from the Tower family's inner circle. The rumors she'd heard were that, aside from Luo Geng, the family had only finalized two other members.
