I've struggled with defining what a power system is. Should the term only be bound to video game‑like systems? Or should it also define a progression power advancement with a clear and detailed ranking?
I didn't add the tag #system because I failed to define what a system means.
This fantasy world has what many call a progression power system with a clear and detailed ranking and limits.

Mortals awaken by binding their souls with a spiritual flame called a Cinder to gain supernatural powers.
Each cinder belongs to a specific Path, and each path is unique and grants unique powers. And there is a rumor that each cinder is a fragment of that path. As for how many paths there are? I'll keep that a secret for now.
These mortals who have awakened are called Seekers.
They have a level ranking:

There are Pantheons of Gods in this world, and the world is divided into different realms.
How to become a god? Who knows? Maybe go beyond the seeker ranking – I don't know!
Each seeker level has three inner stages:

To rise from one level to the next, a seeker must complete all three inner stages of their current level.
This world has dangers that keep mortals awake at night:

Aberrants are mutated wild beasts.
Maledicts are aberrants who have awakened or seekers who have been corrupted by the cinder.
