Chapter 6 - THE FALL OF THE MURSIO ESTATE

[SCENE START]EXT. MURSIO ESTATE - TRAINING YARD - DAYA few months have passed. The tension from the past has melted into a rhythm of absolute teamwork.HIRIA flows through a high-speed combat drill. He channels his awakened ice magic down the length of his sword, striking a training dummy with a freezing, reinforced slash. He wears a custom outfit: a white shirt, black pants, and sleek black samurai armor pads—perfectly balancing Elena's wish for him to be a mage and Gareth's demand for him to be a swordsman.YURTO: (Cheering) Incredible form, Hiria! A perfect bridge between blade and spell!HIRIA: (V.O. / Inner Thoughts) Took me long enough. Mom wanted a wizard, Dad wanted a knight. Compromising on a magic-swordsman build was the only way to keep them from tearing each other apart. But man... I should've known a peaceful slice-of-life arc never lasts long in an isekai.Suddenly, a massive crimson alarm bar flashes across the sky. The perimeter bio-sensors scream. A barrage of heavy-artillery plasma rockets rains from the clouds, obliterating the front gates. Heavy smoke billows across the courtyard as heavily armored mercenaries drop from cloaked hovercrafts. They wear the emblem of a shadowy, unseen criminal syndicate.COMMANDER JAX, a cyborg with a glowing eye-implant, steps forward, dragging a massive electric claymore.COMMANDER JAX: Gareth Mursio! The shadow boss has finally located you!INT. MURSIO ESTATE - LIVING ROOM - CONTINUOUSInside, the family is thrown into complete panic. ELENA and MARA are heavily pregnant, barely able to move quickly. GARETH rushes into the room, pale with terror, clutching his swords.GARETH: No... not them. Not now.HIRIA: Dad! Who the hell are these guys?!GARETH: (Sweating profusely, voice shaking) A long time ago... before you were born... I got mixed up with a massive underground syndicate. I owed the secret Big Boss an unpayable fortune of tech-credits. But worse than that... I ran away with Elena and impregnated her when she was only 17 years old to escape them. We've been hiding ever since. The Boss never forgets a grudge. They've come to kill us all!HIRIA: (V.O. / Inner Thoughts) (Facepalming mentally) ARE YOU SERIOUS?! My dad isn't just a cheater, he's a deadbeat debtor who dragged a teenager into hiding! Paul from Mushoku Tensei is literally a saint compared to this guy!EXT. MURSIO ESTATE - COURTYARD - LATERThe house is burning. The four brothers form a defensive perimeter, fighting together flawlessly to hold back the swarm of mercenaries.YURTO: We will never yield to the shadows! Mother, Father, Mara—evacuate through the underground bunker network! We will hold the line!Hiria uses his ice-infused samurai slashes, while Asher projects kinetic barriers, pushing their parents and Mara toward the hidden escape hatch. Elena looks back, tears pouring down her face as she reaches out her hand toward her son.ELENA: (Crying out) Hiria! Please, come with us! Don't leave!Hiria seals the hatch securely, making sure they are safely evacuated. As the enemy closes in, a sudden thought flashes through his mind.HIRIA: (V.O. / Inner Thoughts) (Looking back at the sealed hatch where his pregnant mothers are) I hope they make it. I wonder... what will it actually be like to be a big brother to two little sisters? I really want to find out...COMMANDER JAX: (Sneering) Defiant to the end. Taste the syndicate's ultimate wrath!Jax raises his electric claymore. The surrounding mercenaries link their tech-suits together, channeling their energy arrays directly into Jax's weapon. A terrifying sphere of unstable, localized space-distortion energy forms.COMMANDER JAX: APOCALYPSE TELEPORTATION STRIKE!Jax swings the blade downward. A colossal wave of cataclysmic energy tears through the yard, violently blowing the brothers backward straight over the edge of a massive, foggy cliff bordering the estate. But it isn't a normal explosion. As they fall into the deep chasm, a massive rift of spatial magic ripples through the air, enveloping each of them in a blinding flash of light. They are forcibly teleported away in completely separate directions.THUD. The screen fades to black.EXT. UNKNOWN FOREST CANYON - LATERHIRIA wakes up with a groan. His white shirt is torn, his samurai armor pads are cracked, and his spiky blue hair is completely messy. He reaches into his pocket, completely panicked, and pulls out his mechanical comb. He frantically brushes his hair back up into its signature spikes.HIRIA: (Looking around at the dark, alien trees, completely alone) Dammit... my tech-suit is fried. I'm entirely alone. No Yurto, no Asher, no Zora. I'm completely separated from the family.EXT. CRAGGY MOUNTAIN BASE - CONTINUOUSMiles away, YURTO stumbles out of a pile of rubble. His rugged gi is scorched, his organic armor flickering weakly. He looks around the desolate rocky landscape, completely alone.YURTO: (Gripping his fist, eyes burning with determination) Hiria! Asher! Where is everyone?! No... I cannot lose hope. A warrior of light finds his path, no matter how dark!EXT. BIO-SWAMP SECTOR - CONTINUOUSDeep in a murky, glowing swamp, ASHER and ZORA crash into the mud together. Their tech suits—reminiscent of Mega Man X and Zero—are covered in sludge and sparking violently.Asher stands up, wiping the filth from his visor. He looks around the terrifying, quiet swamp, his expression deadly serious. For once, Zora isn't giggling. He sits in the mud, staring at his twitching gun-arm with a grim, resentful look on his face.ZORA: (Voice dropping its usual creepy tone, sounding completely serious and bitter) This is absolute garbage. We got obliterated, our home is gone, and the party is split up...Zora slams his non-weapon hand into the mud, narrowing his eyes.ZORA: This is entirely his dad's fault. That worthless, deadbeat coward ruined everything because of his past.Asher doesn't argue. He simply looks up into the foggy swamp canopy, his mechanical angel wings folded tight, matching Zora's dark, serious mood.[SCENE END]
