The journey had begun, Xenia sat across from Jacob, staring at him as he stared out of the small window, the roles were reversed now.
Still he could feel the sting of her eyes on him, her dark crimson pupils, like arrows, piercing his skin.
After a moment of uncomfortably staring out on the the dirt tracks, he looked back at her.
"What is it Xenia?" He inquired, his voice was calmer than expected.
"Nothing." She responded, still looking at him.
'All women are really the same!' He thought to himself briefly, forcing himself not to smile at the thought.
"I can feel your eyes stinging my skin, tell me what is wrong."
"Good, I hope they cut even deeper," she replied again.
'Oh my, what have I done this time!' He mused, furrowing his brows and shutting his eyes momentarily.
"What did I do!" He asked, in a higher tone than before.
"You were supposed to tell me where you went." She responded, her expression unchanged.
"Ohh! Is that why you're upset?"
