"Oh, hello boys! Welcome back!" Ms. Avery greets them at the door. Braxton and Milo are still somewhere around the area. "Who are these too?" she softly asks, looking at Melissa with Maria in her arms up and down.
"Well this is Melissa, she's a friend of mine," Drew pointed at her. "And this is apparently Maria! She's asleep right now" he sort of showcased Maria like she was some child-sized trophy.
"Who's her?" Melissa whispers to Drew.
"That is Braxton's mom, Ms. Avery! From what I can tell she's pretty nice!" Drew compliments Braxton's mom. Which makes her all giddy, like a little child getting a lollipop.
"Where should I put all of my stuff?" Melissa asks. "Do I just put it on that chair over there or?..." She points towards the chair that Arthur got wasted on a little while ago.
"Just, come with me…" Drew begins to lead Melissa to the room that Lukas and Ethan are in. The others follow them. Just as they leave though, we get to see that Braxton has finally gotten out of the maze, with Milo in tow. Thinking to himself: god dammit! Where's everyone else!
"Hey… Ethan?" Lukas softly says, wondering if maybe he was awake right now. He watches Ethan long lashes, open to see his eyes. un knowingly though, he was kind of looming over him for a bit. In which Ethan had to wake up to. Ethan jolts up out of shock, trying to catch his last remaining breath the best he could. He began to say something a minute after he composed himself from the shock.
"U-um, hi there Lukas! Why are you l-looking over me like that" HE says while noticing that Lukas was in some sort of trace-like state. Well that's new.. Was the only thing that he could think of at that particular moment.
Lukas snaps out of it pretty much immediately. "Oh! You're awake now! Just wanted to check" he said while slowly moving away from him. "Hey. You think they're back yet? I feel like I'm somewhat fine right now!" he wondered to Ethan whilst looking out at the weather outside in the process.
"Um… I think you should look over at the door…" Ethan tells Lukas while pointing at it.
Lukas turns around and looks over to see that Drew, Arthur, Ms. Avery, and two others are looking straight at them. Lukas, from the sight of this, jumps a little bit, startling everyone else in the process. He waves at all of them awkwardly before moving over towards the door. Lukas at that moment, was thinking to himself: what am I? A ghost of something?! Why are they looking at me like that?! While having a blank expression on his face. Almost like he was some sort of a stone statue.
"Hi," Lukas says in a monotone voice. "You guys are finally back. woohoo…"
"It looks like you two are somehow fine. How did you heal so quickly?!" Drew asked with a tiny hint of shock in his voice. Luka just shrugged and backed away from the door, letting the rest of them pile up inside the room.
Melissa puts the sleeping Maria down onto the bed Lukas was using. He was going to say something, but thought: I'll let her have it.
"Hi Melissa!!!" Ethan energetically waves in her direction. She too lights up after seeing him.
"Oh my GOD! Ethan! How's it been?" Melissa runs over and gives him a very warm and big hug. Noticing Lukas weirdly staring at the both of them over Ethan's shoulder. She gives him a weird look before saying: "I'm guessing you're Lukas then…" They both give each other a really awkward wave.
"By the way, what did you need me here again?" Melissa asks.
"Well this morning, Lukas and Ethan looked like balloons with all the swelling. In which from that mission yesterday. So we went to go get you to see if you could maybe help us out a bit. But it does look like they're much better now to be honest" Drew explains while leaning his body up against the wall. Trying his hardest to look as cool as he could possibly muster. Failing miserably.
"Well, I mean, they look good now.." Melissa admitted. "I guess I could give them some of this…" She pulls out some sort of weird concoction out of her pocket. It looks purple-ish with a tiny hint of green. It was bubbly violently, looking like it was going to burst any second longer.
"Yo what the fuck is that!" Arthur is shaken, but also thankful that he's not the one who has to drink it. He steps away by 5cm.
Lukas backs himself into a corner. Yelling: "I-I'm not drinking that!!" while in some sort of walling sit. Melissa walks over to him in a very menacing way. She had a sort of evil grin plastered onto her face. She grabs his face with a shit ton of strength, forcefully unhinging his jaw, and pouring the purple bubbly liquid down his throat. He gagged instinctively from the mere smell of the thing assaulting his nose. The taste wasn't that much better though. She stands above him in victory, slowly turning her head to her next victim, Ethan.
Ethan's face slowly contorts into a look of terror, with him slowly backing away, waving his hands to signal that he's healthy and doesn't need it at all. That goes through one ear and comes out the other for Melissa though. She walks up to him slowly, and not even trying to protest, Ethan opens his mouth like a good boy. Letting the liquid violate his throat.
"Ok! Both of them should be fine now!" Melissa beams with her accomplishment.
"*cough *cough, ugh.. What was that liquid!" Lukas is still trying to cough and hurl the liquid out from his own stomach. To no avail though.
"Nothing. Don't worry about it" She immediately says, her face looking way too stone cold for it to be normal. "Anyway, I'm probably gonna need this room for Maria over here. If you guys could just leave that would be great!" she shoos all of them away. Putting all of her focus now onto waking up this weird girl in their station. She also closes the door, and locks it even though there's no lock to be seen on the door.
All of them stand there awkwardly. They have no idea what to do right now. Ms. Avery is the first one to leave, noticing that her son hasn't been back yet. Then Arthur decides that this is way too boring, so he runs back, presumably to his desk at the main area. Now the only ones that are left are the main 3. Lukas, Ethan, and Drew.
"So… um…" Drew trails off, not knowing if they would even want to do something like that. "We should go out!" he decided to himself: well, fuck it.
"Why? And to where?" Lukas wasn't the slightest bit interested. Ethan on the other hand seemed a little eager. "Yeah, I think that we should go out! Just the tree of us. Plus you, REALLY need some new clothes man" Drew admitted while looking pitifully at Lukas' expense. He didn't know whether to be pissed off, or to just let it go. This is his favourite sweater we're talking about here.
HE looks down at all the remaining blood stains and dirt left on it, thinking: I guess it's time for your retirement bud! Farwell.. Before agreeing: "Sure I'll come" giving a little thumbs up as well.
Drew flashes a big smile, Lukas looks at Ethan to see him also really excited. "Hey wait!" Ethan remembers. "We should all probably go take a shower. Especially you Lukas" Ethan points at him, looking as stern as ever. Lukas starts smelling his own armpits, and almost throws up because of the rancid, disgusting, despicable smell coming from them.
"Yeah, *heugh I can see what you mean" Lukas admits. "Where's the bathroom again?"
"Really? Come with me…" Ethan guides him away, back to the bathroom from chapter two I think. After the two of them leave, Drew also decides to smell his armpits. Afterwards saying: "yeah I'm good" Before walking back to his own room.
Ms. Avery is emerging from the nearby hallway, coming into the main reception area.
"Oh my! Where have you been Braxton?!" She notices him with Milo. Looking a little bit better than when he left. She runs up to him, and gives him a big motherly hug.
"Oh me?! My ass just got a little lost, that's all. Milo helped me get back so go thank her if you want to" Braxton presents her as some war hero. Barking: "Woof! (you're acting like he just came back from WW1, calm down lady!)" while wagging her tail and sticking her tongue out.
"Hey." Arthur comes out of the same hallway. Trying to look stylish in the process but failing miserably. "What's up Braxton"
"Hey Arthur" he walks up to Arthur and daps him up. Also bumping chests. "What's going on with your mother?" he asks with one eyebrow raised. Braxton lets out one massive sigh, then says: "I got lost in this maze of a… home?.. Anyway Milo over here helped me get outta there!" he patted Milo's head gently, making her really happy.
"Thanks. So uh, there's someone else in our station right now. Her names, Maria I think. Be weary of her AND Melissa. You got that?" Arthur gives him a really stern look. Signifying that he wasn't playing around at all. A little gulp came out of Braxton's mouth after he heard that.
"I got it" Braxton was ready for this.
"Ok! So who do you think gotta bigger ass? Kim Kardashian, or James Charles?" Braxton asked the dumbest question known to man, but Arthur went along with it because he was hammered.
"Gotta say, hate this but… James Charles? The bbl just looks better in my opinion" Arthur answered wholeheartedly.
"What in the hell are you guys talking about?" Lukas startles the both of them, peering around the walls from that same hallway Ms. Avery and Braxton came from. His face was of pure disgust from that answer that Arthur gave. "We leave the two of you alone, and this is what happens?" Drew also pops out next to Lukas. Ethan follows suit.
"What were the three of you even doing? It's been 40 fucking minutes?!" Arthur interrogated them all. All three of them raised their arms, showing that they meant no harm. Arthur and Braxton both simultaneously sniff the air around them. They then realised that Lukas finally didn't smell like straight horse shit anymore. They both rejoiced in the fact that Lukas took a shower. Lukas knew why they were celebrating even though they never said anything.
Lukas sighed and thought to himself: why are you guys acting like you ain't also smell like straight ass as well. Idiots. While repeatedly tapping his foot on the ground, wanting to get this shopping trip over and done with. So he could finally sleep.
Ethan notices and says: "we'll be going in a minute, just hang on okay?" while giving him a well-knowing look.
Lukas just looks at him with an overexaggerated frown on his face, and reluctantly nods his head. I guess, sure… He thinks to himself. Lukas watches as Drew shakes his head in disappointment. "I thought you were better than this… really? James Charles? You couldn't think of a better pick?" He says.
"Look man, I am NOT picking Kim. Over my dead body~~" Drew starts to notice that Arthur was hammered at the moment.
"Oh my god! I told you not to get drunk with my supervision!" Drew lectures him. "What If you did something bad, and my ass wasn't here to stop you! Then what would you do huh? What if you got yourself hurt, and I wasn't here as you knight and shining armor to save yourself?!" Drew was kind of taking this a little too far. Ethan decided to go up to him and say: "calm down man! It's not that serious! He just got a little drunk, that's all"
Drew calms down for just a sec, before huffing like some sort of bull, and storming out. He yelled back: "c'mon guys, let's go shopping…" Lukas and Ethan both quickly oblige and come speeding walking outside. Leaving Arthur and Braxton in shock, and Ms. Avery not knowing what to do.
What happened? She thought.
