Chapter 12 - Number 11

The atmosphere in the manor's garden is of an unreal calm, contrasting with the turmoil ravaging Percy's mind.

The teacups are still steaming on the stone table, but the book of light has gone out, leaving behind a silence heavy with meaning.

The Archbishop sitting across from him watches him with an almost paternal kindness. His eyes shine with a glimmer of absolute knowledge.

— "So... 😇" he simply murmurs, letting Percy take the time to digest what he has just seen.

Percy doesn't answer right away. He remains still, but tears begin to flow silently down his cheeks. It's a mix of contradictory feelings: the sadness of having lost everything, the joy of seeing that one version of him can be happy, and that devouring jealousy of not having found that peace yet.

Cinema Reactions 🎦

The cinema room is immersed in total empathy. Seeing this Percy, usually so strong and stoic, break down like this in silence breaks the audience's hearts.

Annabeth: She brings her hand to her mouth, holding back a sob. She sees in these tears all the suffering that her Percy has accumulated since his banishment. She realizes that Percy's jealousy is not directed at Chaos, but at the simple happiness he never had.

Hestia: She closes her eyes, mentally sending a wave of warmth toward the screen. "His tears are the fire that purifies his soul. He is mourning his old life."

The Demigods: The silence is respectful. Leo no longer makes jokes, Clarisse looks away, moved by this raw vulnerability.

Nyx and Chaos: They look at each other, troubled. They see that Percy is comparing them to their Universe 1.1 versions. They wonder if they will be capable of offering him that same shoulder to cry on.

Zeus: He feels a deep discomfort. Seeing the tears of the one he betrayed confronts him with the image of his own failure as a king.

The Archbishop's garden is plunged into a sacred silence. Percy stares at the closed book. Tears stream down his cheeks, mixing the pain of his own banishment with the pure joy of seeing his double finally free.

Percy: "He got happiness...

🥹 With her.

He can finally call Mom without fearing his world will collapse. He is no longer a soldier, just a son and a loved man."

The Archbishop: "That is the reward of a soul that refused to let itself be broken by Olympus."

Percy: "What happened after that? Tell me everything."

The Archbishop: "They kept their promises, Percy. They left. They saw the mysteries of Egypt 🇪🇬, the spirituality of India, the romance of France 🇫🇷. Chaos discovered the taste of mortal food, the feeling of sand under her feet, and the pleasure of laughing out loud. They experienced life in its simplest and most beautiful form. Happy forever... because their love became the new heartbeat of that universe."

Percy lets out a stifled sob, then, slowly, a magnificent and sincere smile lights up his face.

Cinema Reactions 🎦

The cinema room is hanging on that smile. The emotion is so strong that some gods struggle to remain upright on their thrones.

Poseidon: He clenches his fists, eyes wet. Seeing his son (1.1) traveling with Chaos and living in peace makes him realize how much he has failed as a father in this universe. "He is free... my son is finally free over there."

Annabeth: She smiles through her tears. She feels Percy's (Vision) jealousy, but she understands that this final smile is the beginning of his own healing.

Aphrodite: She is in a trance. "Egypt... France... Traveling with the personification of everything. That is the ultimate love story. Nothing will ever surpass that."

Nyx & Chaos: They stare at the Percy (Vision) on screen. They see that smile and feel that the man standing before the Archbishop is no longer a victim, but someone who finally knows what he wants to claim.

Zeus: He remains livid. He sees that Percy's peace does not come through Olympus, but through its absence.

In the garden, Percy looks up at the Archbishop. His gaze has changed. The sadness is there, but it is dominated by an iron will.

Percy: "That's a perfect ending for him. But I am not him."

Assessment of Universe 1.1: The Hour of Truths (Cinema) 🎦

The Archbishop stops moving in the center of the room. The lights reveal faces marked by what they have just seen.

— Archbishop: "One man, one Primordial, and a world at peace. But here, in our room, the balance is different. What do you say?"

The Judgment of the Primordials (The Soulmates)

Nyx: She is devastating. Her dark eyes flash with frost. "It's... unbearable. Seeing my mother and Percy live that 'perfect happiness' while knowing that in this version, I don't exist for him... I feel a jealousy that could consume galaxies. Why wasn't I there? Why wasn't he the bond between us both? This '1.1' seems incomplete to me, almost unfair."

Chaos: She sighs, torn between tenderness and melancholy. "It's beautiful, Nyx, calm down. I am happy to see that one version of me has found peace. But... I am envious. Envious of that simplicity. In 1.1, my children seem so far away, almost forgotten in favor of this duo. It's magnificent and sad at the same time. I envy that tea at Sally's, but I feel the void left by the absence of our own dynamic here."

The Confessions of Olympus

Poseidon: He doesn't even look at his throne anymore. "Seeing Percy call Sally 'Mom' and live that life of travel... it shows me the enormity of my own betrayal. I broke my son for laws that, in 1.1, were swept aside with a wave of the hand."

Hera: "This is perfection. Infidelity punished, family (even mortal) honored. If only our Olympus had had half that decency."

Zeus: He remains silent, but his hands tremble. The idea that Percy could be the central pivot of creation, to the point of calming Chaos itself, terrifies him.

The Demigods' Sentiment

Annabeth: She watches Nyx and Chaos with a fascination mixed with fear. "We saw paradise, but here, it's more complex. Percy doesn't have one, but two deities ready to do anything for him. 1.1 was a dream... 1 might be a hurricane."

Return to Reality: The Archbishop's Garden 🌳

The screen cuts back to the manor garden. Percy wipes away his last tears. The smile he had when hearing about the trips to Egypt and France has transformed into a dark determination.

Percy: "He got his 'forever' with her alone. It was simple. But here.... I have Nyx and Chaos.

The air cools in the garden of the Archbishop's manor (Vision). Percy sets down his cup, his gaze darkening with a sincere worry that has nothing to do with his own fate.

Vision: Concern for the Shadow

Percy: "Wait... you told me about Percy and Chaos, their journey, their happiness... But what happened to Nyx in that universe?"

His voice trembles slightly.

"She was alone, wasn't she? Abandoned by her mother for a mortal? She must have suffered... sunk into bitterness. Tell me she didn't end up like a monster or a forgotten shadow."

The Archbishop (placing a soothing hand on the table): "Your compassion never surprises me, Percy.

No, they didn't leave her behind.

Percy and Chaos spent years by her side. They ended up giving her the greatest gift: they saved her from herself by allowing her to reincarnate. She lived human lives, simple ones, full of small joys and peaceful endings. She is no longer a lonely goddess, she is a soul that has finally found rest."

Cinema Reactions 🎦

Nyx: She remains petrified, eyes wide. Hearing that her counterpart was "saved" by mortality causes an earthquake within her. "A simple life... without the weight of Night..." She looks at her mother, Chaos, with an emotion she can no longer hide.

The Demigods: They are moved. For them, mortality is often a burden, but seeing that it is paradise for a primordial deity gives them a completely new perspective on their own lives.

Annabeth: "Percy didn't just save the world, he saved the family of the one he loved. That's... that's magnificent."

The Secret of the Seven 🌌

Percy nods, relieved, but another question gnaws at him.

"And you? Why weren't you there? Why does the story end without mentioning your meeting with them?"

The Archbishop (taking a slow sip of tea 🍵, letting the wind 💨 play with his hair):

"It's normal, Percy... 😇 At that time, I wasn't born yet. You already know that I am the fruit of the will of 7 Chaos entities from different universes who created me to be their voice..."

He pauses dramatically, his eyes shining with millennial knowledge.

"Well... the Chaos of that universe you just saw...

She is one of those seven.

She is one of my mothers."

Cinema Reactions 🎦 🤯 SHOCK

Although the assembly already knows that the Archbishop was created by a council of seven versions of Chaos, the realization that this Chaos

— the one they saw blushing, loving, and having tea at Sally's

— is one of the architects of the Archbishop sends a shockwave through the room.

Zeus: "That's impossible... That woman laughing in a New York living room is one of the entities that gave birth to that monster of power?" He suddenly feels tiny.

Chaos: She sits up straight, a proud and troubled smile on her lips. She feels the connection. "So she is one of the 'Seven'... That means the happiness she found with her Percy infused the very creation of the Archbishop."

Nyx: She is in shock. "My mother... from another world... created the one who guides us today. Everything has been connected from the start."

Hermes: "Wait, if she's one of the seven, that means the Archbishop carries within him a fragment of Percy and Chaos's love? Is that why he's so... different?"

In the garden, Percy looks at the Archbishop with a respect tinged with awe.

Percy: "So... the story I just read... it's kind of your origin. A part of you comes from that love."

The Archbishop: "Exactly. And that is why I know that happiness is possible, even for someone as broken as you, Percy."

The air in the garden, usually so solemn, suddenly becomes very heavy. The wind seems to stop, as if nature itself is holding its breath in the face of the loss of composure of the most stoic entity in the multiverse.

Vision: The Discomfort of the Absolute

Percy looks at the Archbishop with innocent curiosity, totally unaware of the bomb he is about to detonate.

"How did they live and what did they do with their lives? And... is it possible to talk to them?"

It is at this moment that the unthinkable happens. The Archbishop (Vision), this being of pure knowledge and calm, begins to turn as red as Percy's aura. His hands tremble slightly on his teacup. ⚡️

Percy (Vision): "Are you okay? You look like you're about to explode..."

Cinema Reactions 🎦 🤯 TOTAL SHOCK

The room is in a state of shock. Seeing the Archbishop lose his composure is more frightening than seeing an angry Titan.

Hermes: "Look at him! The boss is overheating! What did he read in the secret files to be in this state?"

Apollo: "A god blushing is rare. But him? That's a total eclipse of dignity!"

Leo Valdez: "Oh, I love this. This is the moment it gets awkward, isn't it?"

The "Very Active" Revelation 🫣

The Archbishop takes a trembling breath, trying to regain his composure, but he carefully avoids Percy's gaze.

The Archbishop: "Well... the travels between them were full of adventures... but afterwards, there was also... 🫣🫣"

Percy: "You're starting to scare me now. 😨"

The Archbishop: "The fact is that... this Percy and this Chaos were... very active. Very active, enormously. Even... 24 hours a day. More than 12 times a day. And that never changed. 😳😳 They enjoyed themselves, you see?"

Percy: (Hiding his face in his hands)

Cinema Reactions 🎦 😳 🫣 🤣

The room explodes in a mix of crude laughter, screams of horror, and absolute embarrassment.

Aphrodite: She is in heaven, applauding, her eyes sparkling with joy. "12 times a day?! That's real primordial power! I knew Percy had potential, but there, he's broken all records! This is my favorite version of the story!"

Poseidon: He is torn between immense paternal pride and a desire to bury himself under the ocean. "That's... that's my son... But by all the horses of the sea, that's too much information!"

Zeus: He has turned livid. "24 hours a day? But... when do they take care of the universe? That's biological insubordination!"

Annabeth: She is redder than a tomato, staring at the ground with terrifying intensity. "12 times... 24 hours... I will never look at Percy the same way again. Never."

Chaos: She hides behind her hair, but you can see her ears turning purple. "I... I didn't know that version was so... determined."

Nyx: She looks at her mother with comic disgust. "Mom... seriously? In front of the Archbishop? Is that why he's traumatized?"

Ares: (Bursting out laughing) "The kid is a legend! He fights more in bed than on a battlefield! Respect! 🤣🤣"

In the garden, silence returns, but it is terribly awkward. Percy doesn't know where to look, and the Archbishop downs his tea in one gulp, as if trying to drown the memory of what he had to "observe" to report these facts.

The Archbishop: "There you go... you wanted to know how they lived. Now you know. Can we move on? Please?"

The air in the Archbishop's manor garden turns icy again as the embarrassment fades before a much deeper revelation. The Archbishop has regained his calm, but his words now carry a weight that makes the air vibrate.

Vision: The Weight of History

Percy: "So... impossible to meet them. They're truly out of reach."

The Archbishop: "No one can enter their bubble. The Primordials of Universe 1.1 accepted mortality, and their powers all returned to Chaos. She became an entity of absolute power, far beyond the Chaos of your own universe. Thanks to this balance, she established an eternal peace."
