Location: Inside the Abandoned Guild Tower – Fifth Floor.
Time: One hour after the climb. The interior was completely different from the exterior. The air was stagnant, and dust covered everything, but the mana in the atmosphere was... dead. It did not flow; it sat stagnant like a swamp.Lirion walked cautiously, his eyes scanning the floor for traps. The map indicated that the secret room was located at the top of the tower, but the path was filled with "Dead Circuits."These were ancient magical circuits programmed to explode upon detecting any living creature carrying active mana.Lirion stopped before a long corridor. In the middle, he saw very faint lines on the floor."Activation trap," he whispered. How to cross? Using magic would trigger it. Jumping might create air currents that would reveal him.Lirion thought back to his training in Arc 2: "Circuit Modification."If the trap was designed to detect active mana, what if he made his own mana appear "dead," like the surrounding environment?Lirion focused and used the Stone to mimic the frequency of the stagnant mana in the room. He covered his body with a thin layer of "submissive" mana.He took a step onto the trap line.No explosion.A second step. Nothing. He continued walking very slowly until he crossed the corridor."These Silent Ones are skilled," Lirion thought. "But they forgot that the Stone can simulate anything, even death."He reached a massive door at the end of the corridor. It had a complex lock consisting of five rotating rings bearing elemental symbols."A puzzle," Lirion smiled. "Better than traps."He examined the rings. The symbols were faded, but Lirion activated Truth Sight. He saw traces of residual mana on some symbols more than others."Water... then Fire... then Air... then Earth... then Void," he read the sequence based on the traces. He turned the rings in order. He heard a heavy "clunk," and the door opened with a painful slowness.
