Once upon a time, there lived a small kingdom named Thaloria. The kingdom thrived with good vegetation, clean water, and happy people. The kingdom flourished.
But that was until shadowy figures emerged from the ground, killing everyone and destroying everything.
Bodies dropped to the ground as they walked. Vegetation was stained with blood. Rivers, lakes, and streams flowed with blood, but not blood from animals. It was the blood of the villagers.
The king had heard enough, so he sent his best men, who were said to be warriors among warriors, to fight. But even their strength couldn't match the immense power of the shadow demons.
As the demons tore through the men's bodies, minds, and souls, one of the men asked, "Who are you?"
"Who are we?" one of the demons replied. "We are mere messengers. We came for one single goal."
"And what is that?" the man asked again.
"Oh, you really want to know?" the demon laughed. "Well, we came to feast."
With shock in the man's eyes, the demons devoured them. Their teeth were as sharp as blades, and their souls were as dark as the abyss.
As they looked down at what remained of the once-proud warriors, now reduced to lifeless corpses, one of the demons spoke.
"That was a nice lunch."
"Oh no," another demon replied. "This was but a mere appetizer. The main course is just beginning."
As he spoke, blood rolled down his lips, unaware that a man was hiding in the bushes nearby.
The man's body was covered in blood, and his legs were broken. With horror in his eyes, he whispered, "I must tell the king about this."
The man crawled toward the palace. When he arrived, what he saw was beyond his wildest nightmares.
The ground had turned into a pool of blood. People lay slaughtered everywhere. The more he looked, the more his soul was consumed by grief.
"What have they done?" he whispered.
As people ran for their lives, the once-peaceful kingdom was reduced to ruins.
When he finally reached the palace, he saw the king.
"My king, monsters are coming! They are coming to kill us all!"
"What are you saying? Are demons on their way? What happened to my best men?" the king asked.
"My king, all of them were slaughtered and killed. I'm the only surviving soul."
"I see..." the king replied. "Then this means war."
Suddenly, the throne room doors swung open with great force.
"Who dares step into my palace?" the king demanded.
As the sound of the doors slowly faded away, a silent wind hovered around the room.
The king's face froze in fear as he looked closer.
