After returning home, Pari washed up and sat down to eat. While eating, thoughts of Shuvo kept coming to her mind again and again. She felt that he was truly a good person—different from other boys.
After finishing her meal, Pari went to her room. Their house was made of wood and bamboo, but it was very beautiful. With just a few simple things, Pari had neatly arranged her small room.
She took out the new phone from her bag and started looking at it. Just then, her younger brother ran into the room calling,
"Didi! Didi!"
Quickly, Pari hid the phone. She realized that she could only use this phone at night—otherwise, she might get caught.
After that, she took out her small phone and called Shuvo. At that time, Shuvo was still on the road. As soon as he picked up, he laughed and said,

Pari felt shy and replied,
"I just wanted to know if you reached safely."
Shuvo teased her and said,

Pari said softly,

Then she hung up the call.
After reaching home, Shuvo freshened up and had his meal. Then he went to his grandmother's room and told her everything about Pari. His grandmother felt happy, knowing that her grandson truly liked someone.
After talking with her for a long time, Shuvo went to his room to rest. Since he had woken up early that morning, he soon fell asleep.
Meanwhile, in the evening, Pari sat down to study. But her mind wasn't on her books. She kept glancing at her phone again and again. However, Shuvo was asleep.
Shuvo woke up around ten at night. Still lying in bed, he picked up his phone and called Pari. As soon as it rang, Pari answered.
Shuvo said,
"Sorry, Pari… I fell asleep, so I couldn't call you earlier."
Pari replied,
"It's okay."
Shuvo asked,
"How are you?"
Pari said,
"I'm fine. What about you?"

"I'm fine now… because you're in my thoughts."
Hearing this, Pari became shy and remained silent.
Shuvo then said,
"I really want to see you. Will you do a video call?"
Pari replied,
"I'll do it after dinner, when I come to my room."

"Alright. What are you doing now?"

"I'm studying."

"Okay, finish your dinner and then call me. I'll be waiting."
Pari said softly,
"Okay, I'm hanging up now."
And with that, she ended the call.
