**Chapter 33: The Wedding Procession, Blocking the Way**
**Green Cloud Street.**
The Xu family's wedding procession had entered Green Cloud Street.
The Yang family residence was now in sight.
Xu Mingyi's eyebrows curved like crescent moons. The corners of her mouth lifted slightly, revealing two small dimples.
"Little White, give a roar. Let the Yang family know we're here."
The white tiger immediately let out a roar. The sound was so sudden and powerful that even the wedding music was temporarily drowned out.
Fortunately, the riders were skilled, and the warriors among them managed to calm their horses and prevent a stampede.
"Snow, you should have warned us first." Xu Mingyuan smiled wryly.
"Yes, you nearly caused a scene." Xu Mingxian was also exasperated.
"I forgot." She stuck out her tongue.
"Go ahead." Then she shouted.
**Not far away.**
Except for Yang Shichang, everyone else was shocked by this unusual tiger roar.
The power contained in the roar was comparable to that of a rare tiger.
"What's going on? Why is there a tiger roar? When did tigers enter the city?"
They looked at each other in confusion.
Yang Shichang laughed inwardly. *Let you be proud.*
A little loss would do them good.
Immediately after, they saw the procession with their own eyes.
Among it was a white tiger, half a man's height, with red-gold pupils.
They stared, their eyes full of surprise.
The young man who had called Yang Shichang "cousin" lowered his voice, looked at Yang Shichang, and said, "There are people who can tame rare beasts?"
"Cousin, I don't know." Yang Shichang replied casually.
**Arriving at the main gate.**
Xu Mingwei dismounted, helped the white tiger lie down, then cupped his hands and said, "Xu Mingwei of the Xu family has come to welcome the bride."
The others stood behind him.
Yang Shihui and his companions all looked at him.
"A fine-looking man. As a match for Cousin Ronghua, he's not bad."
"Yes." A seventeen-year-old youth in a brocade robe said, "But in this world, without strength, no one can protect anyone."
"If you want to pick up my cousin, you have to pass me first."
"My name is Qi Wenzhi. Which of you will come?"
At his age, he was close to Xu Minghu and Xu Mingyuan, but he was much stronger than them.
Xu Minghu and Xu Mingyuan were a bit younger. If they had two or three more years, they would surely become solid second-rate warriors, or even approach the level of first-rate warriors.
"Sister, you go." Xu Mingxian whispered.
"Me?"
"I feel he's not weak. Except for Big Brother, no one can handle him. But if we let Big Brother handle everything, what are we here for?"
"That's true."
Xu Mingyi stepped forward a few paces and looked at Qi Wenzhi without fear. "I'll fight you."
"Hahaha. No one else, so they send a little girl."
Qi Wenzhi laughed and waved his hand. "Go play house."
Xu Mingyi was furious. She immediately said, "Little White, hit him!"
The white tiger, which had been quietly lying behind, heard the command. It immediately leaped up, came to Xu Mingyi's side, and swung its steel-like black-and-white tail like a whip, stirring up a strong wind, aiming directly for his abdomen.
Qi Wenzhi was startled and hurriedly jumped back, but it was too late.
His body was grazed. His whole body flew through the air and landed in a heap.
"Trash!"
*Grr—*
The white tiger also roared at the people in front of the Yang residence.
Several of them were forced back by the tiger's aura, retreating several steps.
Only Yang Shihui did not move.
"What skill is it to rely on a tiger? If we had our swords, we could surely kill this beast."
Xu Mingyi was not afraid at all. "Commanding beasts is my skill. If you don't accept it, come out and fight me."
"Don't. Today is an auspicious day. It's not good to draw blood."
Yang Shichang hurriedly stopped them.
"Cousin, it seems this family is not useless after all."
Yang Shihui suddenly spoke. He looked at Xu Mingwei. "I heard from my uncle that you have good strength—the bearing of a master. Let the two of us fight. If you win, I won't stop you. How about it?"
"Please." Xu Mingwei wasted no words.
The two immediately began to fight.
*Bang! Bang! Bang!*
After a long while, neither had won.
Xu Mingyi asked curiously, "Brother Chang, who is this man? He's so strong. He can fight evenly with my big brother."
Yang Shichang touched her head. "Don't underestimate the world."
"My cousin is twenty-one years old, also at the peak of the acquired realm. After a few more months of refinement, he will take the Qi Pill and attempt to become an innate warrior. He is a rare genius of my Yang family's generation."
"He's not like my brother. My brother is only nineteen." Xu Mingyi hummed.
"That's true. But the Yang family's foundation is not something the Xu family can compare to. It's hard to say how the future will unfold."
Then Yang Shichang added, "My brother-in-law is indeed outstanding in Yuehu County. But the truly strong are those who become innate warriors before the age of twenty."
"My brother won't lose." Xu Mingyi said firmly.
"Brother Xu, you are truly very good. It's not easy for a county to produce someone like you. But you can't beat me. Don't think I'll let you through the Yang family gate."
Xu Mingwei looked at him, his eyes as bright as a torch, quietly watching.
"Brother Yang, you're deliberately making things difficult for me. Then I won't hold back."
"By all means." Yang Shihui was full of confidence.
In the prefectural city, he wouldn't dare claim invincibility. But in a county town, he was confident he could dominate.
After all, his Yang family's martial arts and techniques were not something any small county family could compare to.
"Brother Yang, your martial arts are truly exquisite. But perhaps I can defeat you within ten exchanges."
Xu Mingwei no longer held back.
Within his body, a wind swirled around his limbs.
He stood like a pillar of heaven, straight as a dragon.
Yang Shihui glanced at him with some contempt. But when the fist rushed toward his face, he immediately understood the mystery of this ordinary punch.
*Ten exchanges!*
"Tortoise Hands!"
Yang Shihui tried to use this martial art to deflect the force, but Xu Mingwei's power far exceeded his. Even after deflecting part of it, the force still traveled up his blocking arm.
*Rip—*
The sleeve of his arm was directly torn apart.
His chest was struck. His whole body staggered back more than ten steps before stopping. He let out a muffled grunt.
A sweetness surged in his throat, but he swallowed it down.
"Cousin!"
A group of the Yang family's younger generation cried out, worry on their faces.
Yang Shihui waved his hand and smiled at Xu Mingwei. "Good one—defeat within ten exchanges!"
"You are worthy of my cousin."
Yang Shihui had spoken. The other Yang children naturally dared not stop him any longer.
"Thank you."
Xu Mingwei smiled and led his people inside.
"Wait." Yang Shichang stopped him. "My cousin passed, but I am still at this gate."
"Brother Shichang, it's not that I look down on you, but you'd better not embarrass yourself." Xu Mingyuan laughed.
"Little Snow, I didn't say anything to you." Yang Shichang's mouth twitched. "My good brother-in-law, if you want to come in, first compose a bridal poem!"
"Fortunately, I came prepared." Xu Mingwei breathed a sigh of relief. "Listen carefully."
*"The fragrant carriage adorned with gems stops at the golden gate,*
*The painted hall has silver candles.*
*In the diamond mirror, a new deer appears,*
*Before the tortoiseshell screen, old dust settles."*
"Good!"
As soon as the words were spoken, applause erupted.
Then he took a few steps and continued:
*"Do not say the immortal's makeup is slow to prepare,*
*You must know that the jade gate is often knocked.*
*The east wind has prepared a golden silk roller,*
*Waiting to comb the clouds on your ceremonial head."*
