Chapter 18 - CHAPTER 18: THE FORGOTTEN PRINCE

The outside world was changing every single day.

The East Land and the West Land had finally stabilized, but the global race for power had drastically shifted. Ultimate power no longer rested in just one place.

With the Shizukami Clan fractured and the Kaimetsuza Clan no longer possessing the same overwhelming presence, the world's hierarchy had cracked.

Their united power had once been the absolute, unquestionable force of the world.

But now, everything was different. General Kazuki sat on the throne as the Supreme Leader of the West Land.

Meanwhile, hidden entirely in the shadows, the mysterious Shinsei organization continued to pull the strings, quietly executing their dark plans.

The West Land had lost the absolute dominance it once held over the other territories.

Because its power had dropped to match the others, the Southern and Northern Lands finally began to raise their heads.

Across the continent, small new settlements and independent kingdoms began to emerge from the dust.

They were nothing compared to the massive established lands, but they were growing.

The population was rapidly expanding, and the Shiritsu Supreme Council was hard at work.

Shin Warriors were dispatched across the lands, executing the missions and laws handed down by the Council to maintain order.

But as the overall power of the world increased, so did the darkness in human hearts.

Many Shin Warriors, blinded by greed, turned into hungry wolves, preying on the weak.

They targeted the remote, newly established towns and vulnerable populations, looting everything they could find.

Food was abundant, and the ancient, forgotten technology of the old world was slowly being rediscovered.

But the hunger for wealth and dominance was a sickness that could never be cured.

The righteous Shin Warriors fought tirelessly to eliminate these bandits, often succeeding in their brutal clashes.

For ordinary bandit groups, a single S-Rank member of the Shiritsu Supreme Council was more than enough to completely wipe them out.

The average looters were mostly B-Rank, with the occasional A-Rank leading them.

But the shadows were spreading deeper than anyone realized.

Driven by an insatiable hunger for wealth and control, even elite S-Rank warriors began abandoning the righteous path.

They joined these rogue factions, easily taking leadership and plunging entire regions into chaos and despair.

Yet, despite the rising darkness, global peace was narrowly maintained.

This fragile peace existed purely because the identity of the new Supreme Chancellor remained an absolute secret.

Only the Supreme Leaders and top Council members knew who sat at the absolute center of the world's power.

Meanwhile, inside the Shiritsu Dominion University, brilliant minds worked tirelessly, creating new innovations strictly for the betterment of humanity.

Back in the capital, Aira Shizukami had completely buried herself in her new life.

She had set an impossible goal for her future, and she was preparing for it with absolute obsession.

Every single day was consumed by brutal, bone-breaking training.

She had deliberately chosen the path of raw, overwhelming physical strength.

She focused entirely on mastering Butsurishiritsu (Physical Rhythm), pushing her muscles and bones past their biological limits.

Because she was born with the terrifying bloodline of the Kaimetsuza, her starting power was already at A-Rank.

With her relentless training, the distance between her and the elite S-Rank was closing incredibly fast.

Despite living with her parents, she fiercely, proudly introduced herself only as a Shizukami.

People whispered behind her back, mocking the six-year-old girl who clung to a dead prince.

But Aira never paid attention to their words.

However, if anyone dared to mock her or her husband to her face, she didn't just argue.

She answered them by completely shattering their jaws with her terrifying Butsurishiritsu.

Alongside her physical training, she continuously mastered the psychological horrors of her inherited Phantom Eyes.

Far, far away from the politics and the training grounds...

Takashi was still wandering through the green hell of the Grand Forest of Monsters.

A whole year had passed.

For an entire year, the terrifying beasts of the abyss had kept their distance, completely paralyzed by the aura leaking from his tiny body.

But the isolation was taking a horrific toll on his young mind.

Slowly, the memories of his past were fading away.

The gentle face of his mother had become a blur. The faces of his family were slipping into the dark corners of his mind.

But one thing remained absolutely, permanently engraved in his soul.

His father's death, and his father's final words.

He never gave up. He kept walking with the unbreakable resolve that one day, he would cross this infinite forest and return to his life.

As he walked, The Legendary Divine Spirit Wolf would often talk to him, sealed inside him.

The Wolf would answer with pure coldness, constantly mocking his weakness and humanity.

But Takashi was completely used to it by now.

Instead of crying, the young boy listened with the quiet, serious maturity of a grown man, ignoring the insults and continuing his endless march.

He had completely adapted to the brutal environment of the forest.

CRUNCH... HISS...

One day, while walking alongside the raging river, the air suddenly grew impossibly heavy.

A shadow blocked the dim light of the forest.

Standing before him was a nightmare that made even the bravest Shin Warriors tremble in absolute terror.

It was a colossal Red and Black Anaconda.

In the outside world, rumors of this beast were treated as myths a monster that had somehow survived the apocalypse 200 years ago.

It was an authentic, terrifying Triple SSS-Rank monster.

Even a peak S-Rank human warrior would be effortlessly slaughtered by its mere presence.

People dismissed the stories, but right now, that myth was staring directly at the six-year-old boy.

Seeing Takashi completely alone, the massive Anaconda lunged forward to devour him.

SWOOSH!

Inside Takashi's body, The Legendary Divine Spirit Wolf panicked.

The Wolf was completely helpless in this situation.

Almost all of its immense power was constantly being drained just to stabilize Takashi's fragile body, preventing the boy's own sealed power from exploding.

The Wolf kept its intense regeneration and raw energy tightly wrapped around the Black Box seal.

Normally, the Wolf could temporarily bypass the seal to take control of Takashi's body for combat.

But a short burst of controlled power would be absolutely useless against an SSS-Rank monster.

If Takashi died right now, The Legendary Divine Spirit Wolf would die with him.

The Anaconda's massive jaws opened wide, ready to swallow the boy whole.

But in that exact microsecond...
