Tae-hyun didn't say anything when Min-woo reached him, just pulled the empty stool closer with his foot, an unspoken invitation, and Min-woo sat, close enough that their knees almost touched, close enough to smell the alcohol already heavy on him.
Neither of them spoke for a while, the bar's low music filling the space between them, until Tae-hyun finally leaned sideways and let his head drop onto Min-woo's shoulder, slow and deliberate, like he'd been waiting all night to finally allow himself the weight of it.
"I tried," he said, voice slurred and soft. "I really tried to forget you. These past few days, I kept telling myself it would be easier. Simpler. Just let it end, go back to being someone who never met you, never had to sit with any of this."
