Min-woo took the phone gently from Jae-min's hand, studying the photo for a longer moment before setting it face-down on the coffee table, like removing it from sight might undo some of the damage already done.
"Okay," he said carefully. "Let's not spiral before we know anything."
"I'm not spiraling."
"You've been staring at the same spot on the wall for two minutes."
Jae-min blinked, only then realizing he had, and forced his gaze away from the blank stretch of wall he'd apparently been fixated on. "I'm not spiraling," he said again, quieter this time, less convincing.
"It's just a photo, Jae. We don't know the context."
"I know what it looks like."
