Two police officers were inspecting the campsite on the school field.
Several times, they took photos of the crime scene.
"Bro, this incident is really strange," said First Inspector Kamarudin.
"If you look closely, there are signs of chaos here—like people were running around. But the footprints only go this far, no more than a fifty-meter radius."
"It's weird… it's as if they vanished right here. Like they were swallowed by the earth!"
"So, what should we do now, sir?" Second Officer Hengki asked.
"Let's check the entire school area. Follow me," Kamarudin said as he walked through the classroom corridors.
They arrived in front of the infirmary.
"Hey, look! The door to this room is open. If the janitor had opened it, it should've already been cleaned."
"Look—there are still shoe prints! At least two people entered this room," Kamarudin said as he stepped inside. He crouched in the middle of the room, examining the floor.
"Hm… looks like someone fell here," he muttered, stroking his chin.
He scanned the surroundings. Under a table, he spotted a pen and a small flashlight. Wearing gloves, he carefully picked them up and placed them into an evidence bag.
"This flashlight is still dimly lit… looks like it's been on all night," he said quietly.
The two of them continued walking through the school corridors until they reached the end of one of the buildings.
"This is the last classroom block. Still no solid clues about the missing students from the campsite."
"After this, there's a small path leading to the corner of the school—only the restroom building is there."
"Hengki, let's continue checking over there," Kamarudin said, pointing.
They walked along a narrow sidewalk lined with waist-high cherry-like bushes on both sides until they reached the end.
"Look, sir! Under this garden lamp post, there's cigarette ash. It doesn't look old—someone must've been smoking here last night," Hengki said, pointing.
"Good catch… but who would be smoking here?" Kamarudin replied thoughtfully.
He then walked toward the school restroom building and opened each stall one by one—starting from the boys' and girls' restrooms to the cleaning storage room.
"This is really strange… how could more than thirty students disappear overnight without a trace?"
"There should be signs of vehicles around the school, or at least a motive. And so far, no ransom demands."
Kamarudin stood silently in front of the restroom building, deep in thought.

"There's still a lingering supernatural aura here. It seems something terrifying involving an evil spirit happened last night."
Mr. Drajat placed his hand on one of the tents. His eyes were closed, and his lips moved as he quietly chanted a mantra.
"The students were pulled into the spirit's realm. We won't find them here.
But there should be a gateway connecting that realm to ours," he explained.
"So, what should we do now, Mr. Drajat?" Mrs. Yuyun asked anxiously.
"We have to find that gateway. The dark energy there should be very strong."
"Come, Mrs. Yuyun. Let's locate where that spirit entered from."
He stood up and raised his right hand, as if sensing invisible energy in the air.
Together, they walked through the school corridors, as if an unseen force was guiding his hand toward the source.

Meanwhile, Fatheema continued her lesson in class. The atmosphere seemed normal—her teacher was enthusiastically explaining Biology, and the students followed attentively.
But Fatheema's mind wandered.
"Anik, Odah… and so many others.
What happened to them? Are they still alive?
What does Hanako really want?
What should I do?"
"The principal didn't seem to fully believe her.
Could the police handle this?"
"What about Mr. Drajat? Mrs. Yuyun said he could help… he understands the supernatural.
He should be able to help."
"I need to trust others. Besides, there's not much I can do. I don't really understand the occult world.
All I have is a bit of martial arts training—that's it."
Slowly, a cool sensation entered her eyes—
like a soft energy flowing into them.
And—
Her vision changed.
She saw the back area of the school…
Then Mrs. Yuyun and a middle-aged man—Mr. Drajat.
Mrs. Yuyun looked frightened, raising her hands to shield her face.
Then—appearing before them—
Hanako.
And the vision vanished.
"No… it's going to happen again," Fatimah whispered."
"That spirit is going to attack again."
"I have to find Mrs. Yuyun."
She stood up and walked to the front of the class, asking permission to go to the restroom. The teacher nodded.
She quickly left and headed toward the back of the school—the haunted restroom where Hanako resided.
With quick steps, she moved through the corridors and reached the end of the classroom building—the third block.
The area was quiet… completely deserted.
Nothing seemed out of place.
But then—her eyes glowed with a faint purplish hue, with a dark red iris pattern.
And—
In that back area, she could see something others couldn't:
a black veil… hidden from normal sight.
Mrs. Yuyun and Mr. Drajat arrived at the back of the school, near the restroom building. There, they saw the two police officers—Inspector Kamarudin and Officer Hengki.
"Hengki! Snap out of it! What are you doing?!" Kamarudin shouted.
Facing him, Hengki stood gripping a tonfa baton. He mumbled incoherently, his eyes glowing red like someone possessed.
"HAHAHAHA!" Hengki laughed maniacally, then lunged at Kamarudin.
Kamarudin dodged and blocked the attack with his baton.
Noticing two people approaching, he shouted,
"Watch out! Hengki's not in control—he's gone berserk! Be careful!"
Seeing new targets, Hengki turned and charged at Mr. Drajat and Mrs. Yuyun.
He sprinted toward them violently, ready to strike.
Kamarudin reacted quickly, restraining him from behind and locking his body using his baton.
Meanwhile, Mr. Drajat rushed forward. He placed his hand on Hengki's head, gripping the top of his forehead.
His lips moved in a chant—
And—
Hengki's body suddenly went limp, collapsing unconscious.
"Be careful! Take him somewhere safe," Mr. Drajat said, helping Kamarudin carry him to lean against the school wall under a tree.
But suddenly—
The atmosphere darkened, as if the sun had been covered by a black curtain.
And—
A high-pitched female laugh echoed throughout the area.
Kamarudin, Mr. Drajat, and Mrs. Yuyun froze in shock.
They braced themselves for something terrifying.
In front of them, a vortex of thick black smoke appeared.
Slowly…
From within the vortex, a figure emerged—
A girl in a white-and-gray high school uniform, with shoulder-length wavy black hair.
