As Aether was pushed forward by the two guards, passing by the Golden Gate of deliverance that lead to the upper levels of the School he used to be attending.
Aether's body shook as he continued walking—the sound of metal scraping stone, and the occasional water dripping onto them soon faded as the sound of lava and molten rock hitting the walls soon replaced that.
Aether also felt it on his body—he felt the cold transition into sudden, blistering heat that even he couldn't handle.
He was sweating however the Guards didn't seem to care and pushed him forward, "You weren't this tough yesterday, scum of the human race."
One of the Daemons spit on Aether before laughing, kicking him into the molten iron gate.
Aether stood up, his body aching and injured from the torment, glanced up to see that ahead of him was a Daemon.
This Daemon would be teaching him for the rest of his school life—or when he proves to himself he can return back to normal class.
"Welcome to your new "classroom." I hope you enjoy your stay." The Daemon said coldly as laughter from the Guards erupted at the word "classroom" as a mocking nudge to the current room they're in.
The Guards soon pushed the boy near the Daemon Brute before leaving—the lava and the molten heat was unbearable for him as he was a normal human boy.
However the Daemon didn't seem to care and walked towards Aether with a stern and annoyed expression on his face.
He then grabbed the boy and forced him up, not caring nor being kind whatsoever, he was being rough with the kid, not caring if he hurt him, "The "True" Gods have told me to make you feel pain and to see if the 'Zero' in your body still exists. You know, the Null Point?"
The Daemon's expression contorted with rage and fury before grabbing his mace.
"Now, dodge this." The Daemon raised his mace before it slammed into Aether.
Aether stumbled back—clutching his chest, as tears started streaming down his face.
The Daemon let out a small snort, pulling back. He was just holding a small Mace, toying with him.
"You're not even failing properly. You're just dying."
The Daemon paused, a flicker of something uncertain spread across his expression as he finally took in Aether's current state.
However, he for now ignored it and added: "You don't even have the spine to break properly."
"Ow..." This was too much for Aether's body—however, he knew he couldn't cry too long or else the Daemon would hit him again, but he wanted to cry.
Please, end this torment... I wanna go back to my dad and mom again... I—I want the forest... Not here...
The Daemon stared—his patience running thin, "Get up."
Aether coughed out blood before trying to stand—his legs shaking from adrenaline, fear, and from being injured.
Holding onto a rock for support, blood and battered, bruises visible all over his body.
The Daemon immediately moved to the Boy—His speed was sudden enough to look like teleportation.
Aether flinched—raising his arms over his head, whimpering as he crouched down. The pain was unbearable.
The Daemon—paused, he stopped his motion and glanced at the bot who was cowering and whimpering in fear.
"Human I—..." A hint of remorse and sympathy flickered through his expression.
It was a quiet moment, he was staring at Aether with a flicker of remorse and sympathy.
Before he immediately pushed that thought away.
He grabbed the boy and hauled him upright.
"You don't even learn proper concentration on your physicality spectrum, if you don't learn how to—when will you stop being a failure and a spineless fool for your race that has been wiped out?" The Daemon soon threw Aether onto the ground.
Aether landed with a thud on the ground—his body was injured as his shoulder was numb now.
Nothing could fix Aether's arm unless it was healed by a Mage or by an Elf using healing magic.
I-I wanna go home... Please...! Get me out of here!
Aether's body shook, as he held his injury as hard as he could.
The Daemon let out a tsk, mocking before he stepped closer, his armor clinking as he walked over to Aether who was huddled and in pain on the ground.
He then hauled Aether up, staring into Aether's eyes like they were insulting him before he threw Aether out of the gate.
"Come back later. It's your lunch time."
Aether hit the floor,
His body went slack against the stone
The Daemon, thinking Aether was just playing walked over, annoyance building up in his system.
"You heard me didn't you? GET UP!"
But as he yelled.
Aether didn't move.
"Is he... Dead? Wait, no. Am I being sympathetic to such a specie?" The Daemon stared at the Aether's body for moment.
His eyes flickering with a hint of remorse? Before he immediately shook his head, grabbing Aether and threw him over his shoulder.
Carrying him like he was a sack of potatoes, as he soon strode over to the Magical hand that led up to the Med-bay center which houses multiple healing and herbs medication.
The Daemon glanced at Aether from his peripheral view, the bruised and battered body of Aether was quite visible.
"...Why am I feeling remorse for a scum like him?"
He soon stepped on the Magical hand and on cue, the light from the Magical hand glowed like stars, illuminating the surrounding area around him and Aether.
As the Magical hand slowly moved upwards, it's motion steady and uniform.
He glanced at Aether one last time before finally averting his gaze.
