After the lunch incident most students avoided the trio they were now kind of the ominous trio now no one dared to mess with them and those who were truly strong didn't mind it.
The first week was quite bizzar in the first half only theory subjects would be taught then in the next half for the whole week practical classes were done 2 hours of magic class and magical combat class and then another 2 hours of physical training then physical combat class truly a bizzar.
Then a news spread that a competition will be hosted for the first years to see there ranking.
Carson would do the training he had practiced quite some tricks within this month so did Rowan but Dorkis..... Let's just say his growth was on another level.
After the week it was Sunday the trio decided "Today we will train together and fight against Artuo"
Artuo said "really I am gonna go all out you know"( He wouldn't they would die)
Rowan said " Hell yeah tomorrow the ranking match will happen we wanna prepare for it"
Dorkis said "just come at me I will show you a whole new world of magic"
Carson just sighed compared to those two he didn't feel much growth in the past week so he went to library on his own and learned 3 spells.
Artuo said "fine you three come with me we wil train"
Carson said "you know what? Rowan and Dorkis you two train I have some work"
Rowan said "you sure you don't wanna join? "
Dorkis said "Yah join us it will be fun"
Carson smiled warmly then said " Not it's ok"
He went on his own to library it was still morning he went through the library it wasn't empty but no 1st year was there. This institution had a special way of showing a students year.
By stars in their uniform each year they would give then a star to wear this would show their year.
And if you are worried about rankings don't be there is a magical orb in the shopping Hall anyone can check their ranking there but also they will given a insigna to show they are a Part of the academy and through magic connected to the orb your ranking will be shown there.
Carson went and went for a long time he just searched around till his eyes fell on the book called "Basic sword stance vol. 1"
He got curious because the name of the book was weird then he read it.
"Basic Sword Vol. 1"
Your sword is an extension organ of your body learn it and it shall cut all the things in the world the space itself.
Thr sword in itself is a complex thing so be careful to not cut yourself.
After these lines there were 3 stances told in detail and also shown in pictures.
He read it then practiced the whole day and now he could do the basic 1dt stance properly he saw it was evening and eventually left.
In his room he saw that his two clever friends we're sleeping.
Carson took a quick bath too and went to sleep.
Next morning it was a fucking hord in front of the bathroom.
After it was done the trio went to the Hall room the headmaster and all the different faculty members there sitting and waiting.
After all the students came the teachers stood the old guy- I mean the headmaster stood then said "My Dearest little shi- I mean kids geat ready for power ranking matches "
A big white came form the ground everyone saw a big magic circle was beneath them covering the whole ground then they saw it was there on the walls too.
A bright blue light flashed taking all of them in now they were in a distortrd white space before they could move a voice cold yet some minty came.
"Kids it's gonna be a battle Royal you are all gonna partake in this competition through a battle Royal of 2 days to 4 days this is gonna be an artificial world so no food just water.
Then the distorted white space distorted more then all the students found themselves scattered across a large forest.
Everyone was scared Carson was split from his friends he wandered in the forest saying "again a damn forest"
For the longest time he didn't face anyone 1 day passed no one 2 day passed no one.
On the third day however a group of 39 human kids surrounded him.
"Hehe look boss it's that beastkis that humiliated us that day it's our lucky break lets fuck him up" One of the kid said
Then before Carson could understand a kid attacked at him with a spear he easily dodged it and slashed him in a half he became white light and and dissapeared.
Carson said "Like I have said before not all humans deserve my kindness"
Then the kids attacked him super fast not one by one just at once but Carson easily dodged them sometimes dissapearing and appearing right before the enemy and sowmtimes a dark spikey chain holding his opponents.
He said "so how is it Shadow transport and dark chain they are pretty useful ain't they"
Shadow transport was a low rank shadow skill which let's user dissapesr into shadows and appear form shadows within a range on 60cm.
Dark chain is a skill which can be casted mid air so that a shadow chain will appear and hold the enemy but Carson modified it a bit by understanding it's principles and added spikes to it.
Then suddenly a 4 kids attacked him at last he said "Fire furry"
A flame wheel appeared and launched towards the kids smacking them hard against the tree.
"Never mess with me you fuckers I won't so anything to you if you'd otn do anything to me but if you try ro fuck up with my life I will turn you whole a lot more worse" The ln Carson killed them all.
The nobel kid who has been humiliated by Carson twice now was a ice mage his name was Krove he was angry that he couldn't defeat a kid whobis destined to be slave so he decided something far more sinister than one could imagine.
Krov smiled menancingly before Carson slit his throat.
A soft female voice came "brutal Man just brutal"
Carson turned a Girl holding a small worden staff in her right hand and a assassin blade in the other she was wearing the school unifor mut a red hood covered her face.
She quickly lunged at Carson and before he could react a small cut appeared on his face which burnt like hell.
Carson said agonizing in pain and burn "Who the fuck are you so strong"
