The atmosphere in the study room was suffocating. Reyansh—the brother who had been "sold" into the shadows—stared at the three birth certificates. The revelation was like a physical blow to Aryan.
"Three brothers..." Aryan whispered, his voice trembling with a mix of rage and disbelief. "Mother always told me I was the firstborn, the chosen one. She said Vikram was the spare, the shadow. She never mentioned a third."
"Because I wasn't a spare, Aryan," Reyansh said, his voice cold as ice. "I was the original. I was the first cry in that hospital room. But Gayatri Thorne didn't want a son she couldn't break. So she kept the arrogant one, hid the violent one, and discarded the one she feared."
Aryan's grip on his gun tightened. The Unwanted Romance with Sia was now complicated by a blood war he hadn't prepared for. He looked at the screen, where the mysterious 'X' had finally revealed his face. Reyansh looked exactly like him, but his eyes held a depth of suffering that Aryan couldn't comprehend.
The Prisoner's Panic
Deep inside the mansion, Sia was trapped in the master suite. She had tried every door, every window, but Aryan had turned the room into a high-tech vault. Her emerald saree, once a symbol of status, now felt like a shroud.
The lights suddenly flickered. A soft, electronic hum filled the room, and the large vanity mirror began to glow. It wasn't a reflection. It was a screen.
"Sia Mathur," a voice whispered. It wasn't Aryan's sharp tone or Vikram's manic rasp. It was calm, calculated, and terrifyingly gentle.
"Who are you?" Sia stepped back, her heart hammering against her ribs.
"I am the ghost they tried to bury," the man on the screen said. "I am Reyansh. And I am the only one who can get you out of this house alive. Aryan doesn't love you, Sia. He owns you. There is a difference."
"And you?" Sia challenged, her voice shaking. "Why do you care?"
"Because you are the key to destroying the Thorne legacy," Reyansh replied. "Look under the pillow. There is a bypass key. Use it when the clock strikes midnight. I will be waiting in the tunnels."
The Confrontation of Blood
Back in the study, Aryan roared in frustration, smashing the monitor. "Marcus! Trace that signal! I want him found! I want his head on a silver platter!"
"Sir, the signal is coming from inside the mansion," Marcus reported, his face pale. "He's in the ventilation shafts. He's everywhere."
Aryan realized then that he wasn't the hunter anymore. He was the prey. He sprinted toward the master suite, his obsession over Sia's safety—or rather, his possession of her—flaring into a madness.
He burst into the room just as the clock struck twelve.
The room was empty. The window was still sealed, the door was locked, but Sia was gone. A small hatch behind the wardrobe stood open, leading into the dark, forgotten veins of the mansion.
"NO!" Aryan screamed, diving into the hatch.
The Tunnel Stand-off
The tunnels were cold and smelled of damp earth. Sia ran until her lungs burned, the bypass key glowing faintly in her hand. She saw a figure standing at a crossroad.
"Reyansh?" she breathed.
The man turned. He reached out his hand, but before Sia could take it, a gunshot echoed through the tunnel.
Aryan emerged from the darkness, his gun aimed at Reyansh's chest. "Step away from her, Brother. This is the only warning you get."
"You always were slow, Aryan," Reyansh smiled, not even flinching at the weapon. "You were too busy playing King to realize that the Kingdom was built on quicksand."
Suddenly, a third figure emerged from a side passage. It was Vikram, his face half-burned, a jagged blade in his hand. He looked at his two brothers and started to laugh—a sound that echoed like a death knell.
"The Trinity is complete," Vikram hissed. "Mother will be so pleased to see us all together... before I kill you both and take the girl for myself."
Sia backed away, realizing she was caught between three monsters who shared the same blood and the same dark obsession.
