Chapter 3 - “When the judge cries”

In this world…

crimes are not measured by their cruelty…

but by how many applaud them.

When brutality becomes honor…

and truth is slaughtered in the name of virtue…

justice no longer exists.

Something else… is born.

Chapter Three :"When the judge cries"

"When the judge weeps… know that the crime has surpassed the limits of judgment."

After the death of his father, Iliah decided to leave his city…

Perhaps to leave everything behind, perhaps to forget…

But there is no escape from fate.

He set out toward a nearby city.

At first, everything was calm…

A gentle breeze, and the sound of birds filling the sky.

He walked slowly…

Believing he had escaped the past,

Unaware of what the present held for him.

As he moved forward…

The sounds of birds began to fade, little by little.

The air grew heavier…

Until it felt suffocating.

His heartbeat slowed…

And the voices rose within his head:

(Do you really think you escaped the pain?… Ha… you're dreaming.)

Iliah whispered:

"Who are you?"

The voice replied:

"I am neither stranger… nor familiar…

I am within you… and beyond you…

I am your past… and your present."

Iliah did not understand…

And then the voice vanished.

He approached the city… and entered it.

He saw the people… not with his eyes,

but with his insight.

Suddenly…

A scream echoed behind him.

He turned…

To see a group of people—

Like a pack of wolves,

Surrounding a young girl.

He stepped closer slowly,

And stood beside one of them.

"What is happening here?" he asked.

The man replied mockingly:

"Look at this whore…

She seduced her uncle and fell into sin with him."

The girl screamed:

"I'm innocent! Please… believe me! I'm innocent!"

But…

No one listened.

They tied her in the center of the place.

Iliah looked around…

No one stood with her.

He approached her…

Step… by step…

Until he sat beside her.

"What happened?" he asked calmly.

She was trembling, barely speaking:

"I… I'm innocent…

My uncle… he did this… please… believe me…"

Iliah replied softly:

"I believe you."

She froze for a moment…

Then asked in disbelief:

"How…?"

He answered:

"I do not see with my eyes…

I see with my insight."

He stood up…

And tried to free her…

But…

The "wolves" returned.

"What do you think you're doing?" they said.

"She is innocent. Let her go."

They laughed…

Then they beat him brutally.

He fell to the ground…

Powerless… unable to move.

They dragged the girl away…

She screamed:

"Please… don't… I'm innocent!"

Then…

Her voice disappeared.

Silence…

Then…

It turned into cheers.

Laughter…

Dancing…

Celebration.

They were celebrating…

A crime.

In this city…

Crime was honor.

Iliah slowly stood up…

And the voices returned:

(Hahaha… you see? I told you…

Now… what will you do?)

At that moment…

Tick…

Tick…

Tick…

Everyone turned…

Their eyes fixed on him.

He stood there…

Still…

But…

From his eyes…

No tears fell.

Only…

Blood.

He whispered:

"Submit… to my judgment."

He raised his violin…

And placed his fingers upon it.

Requiem of the Distorted Truth

Movement I — The Stranger Arrives:

"My steps are strange… and the city has fangs

I saw the crowd… like wolves in gangs

Behind the bars… I glimpsed a light

A girl trembling… clinging to what's right

She said: 'I'm innocent'… and my heart believed

Unaware… that conscience had already been deceived"

Movement II — The Clash:

"I stood against the winds of black

I cried 'Enough!'… they struck me back

They kicked my wounds… dishonored my soul

Crushed the weak… without control

I saw the truth… slaughtered in sight

And trampled beneath their twisted right"

Movement III — The Peak:

"The blade flashed… in hands of deceit

An innocent life… crushed beneath their feet

They shouted… danced… proud of their sin

Calling it victory… what horror within

Oh how ugly the faces… that celebrate

The killing of truth… under the name of fate"

Movement IV — The Silence:

"Here I fell silent… the string broke apart

Mercy died… replaced by a heart of stone and dark

No tears remain… no voice to plead

From this day… no sinner will be freed

I am now the judge… without sight

And I shall deliver… a merciless right"

(Victim)

Iliah turned…

And walked away.

Behind him…

Screams echoed:

"Catch him!

Catch him!

He killed the heroes!"

He left the city…

After witnessing…

What aged his soul.

"The world does not end here…

What remains unseen… is revealed elsewhere."

— Weare_Shingami

It wasn't their screams that followed him…

but what he had witnessed.

A world that celebrates sin…

and kills innocence without hesitation.

In that moment…

Iliah didn't just lose his humanity…

he stopped seeking mercy.

And from that day…

he no longer searched for truth…

he became…

the judgment itself.
