Chapter 2 - Chapter 2: The Abyss, Nine Descents (2)

The stars continued descending, giving the Abyss a magnificent look. Myriads of colors dotted the void, replacing its grim red look with a whole new flavor

Finally the stars descent from the void started to lessen, till each descent was made each hour, the Abyss started to regain its calm again.

From the depths of the 100 heavens, Ten massive beams of light, each with a distinct color, deep black, purple, dark silver, white, grey, green, brown, red, and blue, stopped before the void. Above the beams, symbols appeared in matching colors:

-White Eyed Crow,

-A Triangle with an eye in the middle

-A Skull,

-A Golden White Crown formed from Angel Wings

-A Hand Holding Grey Chains,

-Three Katana's Standing Straight,

-Three Upside Down Masks with Smiles' Forming a Triangle,

-A Love Image,

-A Fúchén(Fly whisk).

The Grand Abyss boiled, its deep waters rising with such ferocity that the void nearly swallowed itself.

As its deep waters slowly receded, the symbols and beams of light faded and returned to the depths of the 100 Heavens, leaving a breathtaking view. Flickering lights like stars shimmered in its waters.

Finally, the abyss gradually calmed down. A man in his twenties emerged from the Thirty-Second Heaven, 'The Perfect Run.' Standing six feet tall with short, tousled black hair falling over his eyes, he wore a tailored black three-piece suit with crimson embroidery tracing the lapels and cuffs, a silver raven crest pinned to his chest."

With an indifferent expression, he gazed at the void above. He brought his head down slightly to look at his hands, which were covered in black gloves, and muttered

"The lunatic's plan actually succeeded",

He splayed his hand wide, breathing in the atmosphere, then dragged his tie down to loosen it. Taking a glance around the place, he placed his hands in his pocket as started walking forward leaving behind the words

"Time to find the other's, what happened before must not happen again"

From the 18th heaven, the Diary of a Dead Wizard rose. It had no tangible form, its back bent double until its head touched the floor before it slowly hauled its upper body upright. It resembled a shadowy piece of the void with a glowing white eye, though a humanoid shape was still discernible.

Its hands stretched around unnaturally as the space around it twisted due to the force coming out of its body, after stretching for a while a low murmur sounded, it voices soft and somehow childish, yet jarring

"The lunatic's plan actually succeeded,' he muttered. ... 'I have to find that snake before Hunter and the rest do, else i'll miss my opportunity for revenge "
