"This is the start of the Utopia that I've wished for so long."
In front of me is a ruined city, even though it's hard to distinguish because of the wrecked landscape and collapsed buildings and skyscrapers. It was the most known city on earth, the city of freedom, or should I call it once?
"This is the sight I was looking for." Looking down at the scenery makes my heart beat faster.
"Congratulations, Boss! Now we destroyed the whole western continent and already annihilated all of the human beings living here." A man in a black robe said delightedly to me. I can't see his reaction because he has the hood hiding his face, but from his tone, he is enjoying it too.
"Humans?" "...It seems you mistook those lowly creatures as human like us, number four." A beautiful red-haired woman suddenly appeared beside me; her tone was cold and full of arrogance. She was wearing the same outfit as the man called number four, but she wasn't using her hood to hide her gorgeous face.
"Oh, it seems I was deceived because they're hiding in a human skin. "My bad, number one." The man called number four said, and even though I couldn't see his face clearly, I could tell that he did not take this event seriously.
I look down at the ruined land beneath my feet.
Start thinking about and counting what happened in the past years.
My name is Cyan Levauné, also known as the world's greatest enemy. Even hell could not take how evil I am. This is my story.
Year 2045
"Hey, how the hell did Aunt give birth to a useless piece of shit like you? "A teenage girl said, looking down at the man under her feet.
"I… I'm sorry," I muttered in a faint, low voice that was barely audible in human ears.
My body was full of bruises and scars from the beating I've taken; this is my everyday life, things I have to experience for the reason of being born in this world as a lowest tier in humanity.
In the past, possessing a "Trait" was a miracle of chance. But now it's become more common because they've discovered how to obtain it in a more efficient way. It's a thing called prayer; people need to pray to God and make an offering to receive their blessing.
But not all people in this world have been favored by the so-called god; one of the examples was me. I didn't receive any blessing even though I put all my effort into my prayers and gave a lot of offerings; maybe the god was not on my side.
So how can I have the power to fight back against Melvina? I can barely speak and don't have the strength to get up from the cold floor.
"Tsk, you two—stop blocking the hallway." A lazy voice came from behind me.
Suddenly a suffocating silence covered the entire hallway, and I could feel Melvina's feet were trembling; it seemed she was scared of the owner of the voice.
...
...
...
"Hick…. A…Adela… when did—no… "I'm sorry for blocking your way," Melvina first broke the silence. I could faintly hear a clenching fist from her hand; it seemed she was too weak to pick a fight with Adela, so she decided to look down to avert Adela's eyes.
Tap...Tap... (heels sound)
After a few moments, the approaching sound of heels is the only thing I could hear. The sound grew louder and louder until it passed through me. After a few seconds, I couldn't hear any sound of heels anymore, so I decided to look up.
"Huh? You piece of garbage—are you peeping at me! "I didn't expect that Melvina was still looking down, so our eyes met. Her left feet are still stepping down at my back, so her posture is revealing in my view; it seems she misunderstood, or she was rather trying to pour out her anger on me.
"No—It's not that way—"
I couldn't finish explaining because I suddenly felt a throbbing ache in my back.
Ack-
Bang-
My head feels heavy after receiving Melvina's kick.
Cough—
My body shot against the wall's corner. My body no longer reacts to me. I want to flee from this torment.
My head fell to the ground when I coughed up some blood, I started to feel lightheaded, and I was no longer able to feel the pain. I could see Melvina approaching me in a blur.
"Urkk—"
"I apologize, Mel—"
I couldn't see what Melvina was doing, but I could feel my head being raised off the ground as she crouched in front of me.
"I can't believe you've made it this far. So you can still talk?"
Bang
My head hit the floor in the next instant, and as she repeatedly rammed it there, blood gathered on the ground.
Dizziness wants to take over my body. I don't have a body like the others; I was a normal human, so it's impossible for me to survive from the torture, not to say from blood loss, so I already expected that this is my end.
...
...
...
"Killing your own family member? "
A cold yet lazy voice echoed in my ears.
