[Bonus Chapters [2] - 320 Power Stones]
--x--
The three days in Tortuga released all the crew's stress, moreover, news of Blackbeard's death, the transformation of the Revenge into Ragnarok, and the discovery of John Flint's treasure made Rigel famous in Tortuga, and soon his fame would spread beyond that island.
With this came pirates who didn't believe in things about witchcraft, only seeing a child as captain on an empty ship, but the closer they got to Ragnarok, the more a feeling of fear permeated their hearts, it was the effect of the Black Flag.
As soon as anyone who wasn't subordinate to Rigel approached, if they were just a neutral person, they would only feel an inner dread, but it wasn't debilitating. However, those who came with bad intentions and weak spirits felt a profound fear the closer they got.
In the end, most gave up, and the few who dared to try something were impaled by wooden planks that pierced them out of nowhere, their bodies falling into the water to feed the fish, and Rigel's fame growing even more.
Even so, although Rigel's fame had increased, he didn't care about that at the moment, with the ship loaded and the crew aboard, the Ragnarok began to sail again.
Destiny? Poseidon's Trident.
Sure, his compass couldn't point to that yet, but he could still search for the island where the entrance to the Trident was located, so Ragnarok advanced with all its might.
There were no cursed pirates chasing them, so they reached the island after only two days of travel.
The group of pirates stared at the gleaming spot with shocked eyes, while Dalma approached the bow with unreadable gazes.
"This is Poseidon's tomb." She said, as if she were talking about the weather, but she left everyone shocked, staring at her with evident surprise.
"Poseidon's tomb... so Poseidon is dead?" Rigel asked, surprised.
"Indeed, he died in a war that involved the entire world. This place was created by Triton. Even Poseidon's original trident was broken a long time ago, the trident here is just a cheap replica." Dalma chuckled lightly, unconcerned by the crew's shock.
Rigel observed the island with evident surprise, the tomb of a god... - Is Poseidon buried here?
"No, when a god dies, he returns to nature. This place was created as a memorial to his father by Triton." Dalma said, turning to prepare to disembark. "Don't forget the final piece, it's needed to open the passage."
Rigel blinked, taking the ruby in his hands, looking at it curiously, shaking his head, he followed her.
He, Elizabeth, Dalma, and Will went downstairs.
The rest waited on board.
The moment Rigel stepped onto the island, the adventure book opened again.
[Congratulations writer, for discovering a legendary location, Poseidon's Tomb.]
[Congratulations on receiving: "Trident Ballista (Gold)"]
[Trident Ballista (Gold)]
[Type: Bound Equipment - Ship (Obeys only the Writer and can only be attached to a ship.)]
[Effect 1: End of the Myth -> Possess 3 trident harpoons that have a magic-ignoring effect, magical defenses are treated as air and pass through directly. (Recharges one harpoon every 24 hours.)]
[Note: If the magical barrier is stronger than the ballista's effect, the harpoon can still be defended against by magic.]
[Effect 2: Monster Hunter -> When hunting a non-human magical creature, the ballista's effect activates, directly pursuing the target by targeting its weakness.]
Rigel blinked, looking at the item he received with some interest, despite it being just a gold piece of equipment with only 2 effects, the effects weren't really bad.
Although the first effect cannot penetrate all defenses, it is still an ace up his sleeve.
The second effect is even better, if he's hunting the Kraken, this ballista will be very useful.
Even so, he ignored the ballista for now and followed Dalma, Elizabeth, and Will, looking around curiously.
"Is this some kind of ritual pattern?" Rigel asked, looking around. From what he had read in books, it looked very much like that.
Dalma paused slightly, looking at Rigel, then let out a soft laugh. "Indeed, but it's probably pointless now."
"And what is the purpose?" Elizabeth asked curiously.
"To resurrect a god." Dalma said nonchalantly, but her words shocked Elizabeth and Will, even Rigel's eyes widened slightly.
"Poseidon?" Rigel asked curiously.
"Yes, that Triton wanted to use that ritual to gather Poseidon's faith, trying to resurrect his father. It's a shame that humans aren't interested in gods anymore, not as much as they are in the guns in their hands." Dalma let out a slight, mocking laugh, it wasn't clear if she was laughing at Triton or at herself.
Rigel looked at Calypso for a moment without saying anything, then shook his head, it wasn't his problem, he didn't want to get involved in divine quarrels.
Dalma seemed to notice his gaze, winking at him with that irritating smile still on her face, and soon the group arrived in front of the large Ruby with a piece missing.
"That's it, just fit it into the stone." Dalma said.
Rigel looked at her, narrowing his eyes, but said nothing, taking the ruby and placing it on the stone. The ruby quickly seemed to gain energy, the next moment a beam of energy surged towards the other rubies, and the next moment the ground at his feet began to tremble fiercely.
Before their shocked eyes, the sea opened up behind them, like a gigantic chasm in the ocean, even the rocks cracked, causing them to quickly jump back to avoid being dragged to the bottom of the sea.
Rigel, Will, and Elizabeth's eyes widened at the sight, but Dalma's eyes blinked slightly, her smile growing rapidly, no one knew what she was thinking.
"Let's go." Rigel said when everything calmed down. A natural slide formed from the damp stone, and Rigel didn't hesitate, sliding down quickly.
It wasn't a pleasant trip, but it was the quickest way down.
Dalma smiled at Elizabeth and Will and said. "Don't fall behind, lovebirds." Then she jumped even more boldly than Rigel.
"Elizabeth, we really don't need to..." Will hadn't finished speaking when Elizabeth jumped up right behind Dalma, shouting excitedly.
Will's eyes widened, looking directly at the falling figure. "Elizabeth!" Shouting her name, he quickly jumped after her.
