When Awakened advance to Five Stars, they reconstruct their bodies as though they were creating entirely new ones.
At that moment, every single Awakened experiences unimaginable pain and, naturally, loses consciousness. If they become distracted for even a single instant, their Five-Star advancement will end in complete failure, or they could simply die.
At that moment, the flesh, muscles, organs—everything that made up my body—began to peel away from my skeleton.
The process was so slow that, at the same time, every single part was being replaced by something better, in the most literal sense of the word.
Blood poured from every part of my body. The process itself was horrifying, but not painful thanks to my Trait.
However, my senses made me fully aware of what I was doing to myself.
