Oliver sprang upright from the ground and immediately broke into a sprint, desperate to escape before the Mourn Wyrm could fully descend the mountain. He pushed himself faster and quickly realized his speed had increased dramatically ever since ranking up.
The young man gritted his teeth while keeping the Imperial Sword poised in readiness for any sudden threat.
Meanwhile, the Mourn Wyrm had descended into pure fury after realizing its offspring had been slaughtered. The colossal creature accelerated down the mountain before releasing another shriek that detonated across the valley with overwhelming force, nearly throwing Oliver off balance from the sheer intensity of the sound alone.
Still, he never looked back.
