Elena's life was like a perfectly timed clock. She woke up at 5:00 AM every single day. She started with a morning walk to clear her head, followed by a focused yoga and exercise session. She didn't waste a second.
By 7:00 AM, she had finished her bath and sat down for a quiet breakfast. At 8:00 AM sharp, her car pulled into the office.
But Elena wasn't just staying in her cabin today. She spent the morning on a luxury yacht, meeting with international partners and closing deals over the sound of the ocean. To the world, she was the perfect, high-class CEO who never made a mistake.
~The Construction Site~
On the other side of the city, the vibe was much darker. Alex Volois was at one of his unfinished construction buildings. He wasn't there for a meeting—he was punishing a man who had betrayed the Empire by leaking secret information.
Just as Alex was finishing, his best friend and business partner, Jimmy Blackwood, walked in. Jimmy was the President of his own successful company and the only person Alex truly trusted.
"I found what you wanted, Alex," Jimmy said, handing him a folder.
Alex wiped his hands and opened it. Jimmy began to list out everything he had discovered:
"She was born in Bavaria, Germany. She went to the International School there until middle school. Then, she moved to Italy to live with her grandparents and studied at a top school called Jacopo Stellini. For her higher studies, she went to Imperial College London and then to the University of Pennsylvania for her business degrees."
Jimmy pointed to her grades. "She wasn't just a student; she was a topper. Rank #1 in every school and every university. She's also a great tennis player and loves to paint. She even went to a top culinary school in the US because she has a deep passion for cooking. That's why she joined this company and worked hard that now she is the CEO."
Jimmy paused, his face turning serious. "But Alex... there is a problem. There is zero information about her parents or her family background. We know she attended the most expensive schools in the world, so she must come from a very powerful family. But it's like someone erased their names from the records."
Alex looked at Elena's photo in the file. He remembered her cold eyes and how she refused to bow to him.
"She's hiding something," Alex said, his voice low and dangerous. He looked at Jimmy with a sharp stare. "I want you to dig deeper, Jimmy. I don't care how much it costs or how long it takes. Find out who her parents are. Dig into her past until there is nothing left to hide. I want to know exactly who I'm dealing with.
~ On yatch ~
On the yacht, Elena's phone buzzed. The caller gave her the tip she had been waiting for: a shipment was arriving at The Abyss, the city's most dangerous underground club. This wasn't a place for businessmen; it was a den for mafias and corrupt politicians. It was also where "He"—the man she was secretly investigating—sold innocent lives like property.
Elena didn't hesitate. She had to get proof.
~ At the club ~
That night, she arrived at the club in disguise .She wore a seductive black short dress that hugged her curves and a delicate net mask to hide her famous face. She stepped onto the stage as a bar dancer, her movements fluid and seductive. She focused her attention on the main culprits in the room, making sure they were too distracted by her beauty to notice she was actually watching their every move.
She knew one mistake would make her a "dead piece of meat," but she was determined.
After her dance, a powerful mafia leader, amused by her, pulled her into the VVIP area. She sat among men who were more dangerous than hungry lions. Elena played her part perfectly—laughing at their crude jokes while her mind recorded every face and every word.
Alex Volois was there, too. His eyes locked onto her immediately. He recognized her, but he kept his face like stone, pretending he didn't know who was behind the mask.
Suddenly, the mood shifted. The leaders stood up to move to a private area for the "real" business.
Elena tried to follow, but the mafia leader stopped her. "Stay here, baby," he smirked. "Wait for me. What would you do to go to the beast place". As the went away.
Elena was burning with fury, but she waited until they were gone. The moment the hallway was clear, she slipped away, following them like a shadow.
As she hurried down a dark corridor, all attentive to not to get caught but suddenly she heard a voice from opposite direction as she didn't have time to take a move as suddenly a hand reached out from a doorway and pulled her inside. She gasped, ready to punch her attacker, but her wrist was caught in a grip of iron.
It was Alex.
"Fierce, aren't we, baby?" he whispered, his eyes dark.
"Mind your business, Mr. Volois," Elena snapped, trying to pull away.
Alex pulled her back, his face inches from hers. "Do you realize you're in a den of lions, doll? If they find out who you are, they will ruin you. And yeah why the fuck you are here huh ?"
As he was going to say something suddenly a voice came from outside the room .
"Sir, they are waiting for you!"
Alex hummed, looking back at Elena. "Wait here. And don't you dare be over-smart."
Elena was too stubborn to listen. "What does he thinks of himself? " she thought. "Is he a king who can control anyon's life? I will not listen to him . Agaah I fucking hate this guy, he is so full of himself ."
As soon as he left, she followed. She reached a room where the environment was different—cold, professional, and evil. She was just about to hear the evidence she needed when a guard's hand grabbed her.
Minutes later, Elena was on her knees in the center of the room, her hands tied. The men looked at her like predators.
"Who is this bitch?" one growled. "Is she a spy? Kill her."
Before anyone could move, Alex's voice cut through the room like a blade. "She is my prey."
The room went silent. No one dared to argue with the King. But a female mafia member nearby laughed, leaning toward Alex. " Your prey ??You don't like girls like this, Alex. She's dull. You like them sexy."
"You don't have the right to know what I like," Alex replied coldly after pushing her ."I'm obsessed with these kinds of girls currently . I love breaking their attitude into a million pieces."
"But alex "- one of his friends told " your choice is really great " another friend said agreeing " yeah he is totally right. You gets all the fine shits but not tonight. Whoever is willing to pay the highest amount will get the girl ".
As the environment of the room shifted from dengerous tension to bidding auction.
The men began to bid on her like she was an object.
"5 million!"
"12 million!"
"50 million!"
"4 Billion," Alex said.
The silence was deafening. No one could match that. His friends laughed, "You always get what you want, Alex. Just pass her to us when you're bored."
"First, let me enjoy her," Alex said. He grabbed Elena and marched her out toward his mansion.
~At the headquarters ~
Back at their secret base, Elena's secretary, Chloe, and her friend Marcus stared at the tracking screen in horror.
"She's been caught," Chloe whispered, her face pale. "And Alex Volois just bought her. What is he going to do? What if he kills her?"
"Think positive, Chloe," Marcus said, trying to stay calm. "God will never do bad to innocent souls."
Chloe sighed, her eyes turning hard. "I don't believe in those things. I have seen innocents suffer, Marcus. Now, it's not time for prayers—it's time for revenge."
