Amudha's POV
Great! Kriday has won over Ishaan, who is like a little brother to her. All he has to do is to win over her parents and Rudyash.
By the way, they left me here with Rudyash.
He looks like a father of two dealing with heart break after an argument with his wife as he grew out a beard, he looks tired and the way he sleeps, proves it.
He kinda looks—handsome with that beard. I take my words back.
I don't want to wake him up, but I have to!
I saw him after a year. I liked him since my inter and I don't know whether he likes me back as he started to act distant and emotionless since I was in 10th grade.
I called out to him, shaking him violently until he woke up.
"Auntie is calling you!" I acted angry on him.
"Sharu, I will come." He stretched out his hand to slap me thinking I was Sharu.
When he realised that I not Sharu, he was shocked as he jolted up and apologised to me immediately.
"Did Mriganka and Aarush come?" He stretched his hands clasped as he got up, making me look at his biceps.
"No." I replied diverting my gaze to the floor as he took out a hoodie.
" You look like you are cold." He handed me HIS HOODIE!
Damn! He noticed me shivering and thought that I was cold! It was about to rain, so it was a bittt cold.
"Oh— Thanks?" I took the hoodie and he turned away from me as I was about to wear it over my red shirt and and black tailored trousers.
"Shall we go downstairs?" He made his way to me as I was adjusting the hoodie .
I nodded yes and followed him downstairs.
Rudyash's POV
She looks drop dead gorgeous in that hoodie. I should give her some, but my heart hurts from beating fast every time I see her for the past 6 years.
I can't hold my feelings for my entire life. I gotta confess to her soon or she would be taken by another idiot and I don't know when I would meet her again.
Srimayi and Shyamkeerti came out of the kitchen as they brought some snacks from their home.
"Sri and Keerthi!" I called out to them as they kept the snacks on the table and Amudha was startled by it.
"Give it." I pointed at a bowl filled with Murmura. Shyamkeerti handed it to me, I munched on the Murmura, " Did you bring the Shampoo and the other things I asked?"
"Yeah." Shyamkeerti scoffed as she rolled her eyes dramatically as Srimayi heads towards me annoyed as she throws the bag, " I can't understand your obsession with hair! In fact all the boys are like that!" I gave the bowl of Murmura to Amudha as I catch the bag and keep it aside.
"So, you don't want me to have hair?" I asked Srimayi as she was heading to Sharu.
She turned back, " Yes! I am tried of your obsession with your goddamn hair!"
She talks like that but she is actually quite sweet if you know her personally.
I took the bowl from Amudha and we sat on the edge of the Manduva, all of us forming a circle around the Lotus pond in it as we heard knocking on the door.
The snacks and the hair care products were in the another empty Manduva where I had placed a table in it.
Kriday got up to open it before Amma could get up.
Kriday's POV
I open the door and found a boy in a white polo shirt and a Lenin trousers and a girl in brown a cropped Graphic Tee and Sage green tailored pants.
They crossed their arms and in unison "Who are you?"
"I am Kriday—" I stretched my hand for a shake hand, "Kriday Naik."
Their eyes narrowed as they understood that I am the guy they had been searching for a long time.
The guy reached out to shake my hand, "I am Shreedhar Aarush Das, I am the Sun elements of the team."
After the handshake, the girl looks at me, "I am Mriganka Sita Mahalakshmi Reddy, the time manipulator and the moon element of the team."
That's an unique name.
"It's nice meeting y'all!" I reached to hug Aarush and after that, a fist bump with Mriganka.
I asked them to come inside as it was about to rain. They came in as Rudyash and Ishaan were placing the snack table in the Manduva to the empty spot beside a door.
Ishaan kept down the table as he shouted "Hiiiii Mri!" Rudyash looked so done with him as Ishaan ran to Mriganka with his arms stretched like he would hug her.
Mriganka stretched her arms and closed her eyes, smiling.
At the last minute, Ishaan diverted his way to Aarush, ignoring Mriganka.
I could tell that neither Mriganka nor Aarush expected this as Aarush looked shocked as Ishaan suddenly gave him a catcher hug and Mriganka's brows furrowed as she crossed her arms and looks at them angrily before hitting them.
It's cute yet chaotic scene.
Irasvan uncle stopped them. Uncle came to me after that as he whispered, "I saw you for the last time when you were 6. You have grown to be an handsome man, the type to which I would gladly give my daughter to."
I looked shocked as he said that last sentence. "Oh, then can I marry Sharadvitha?"
He smirked as he replied with a no nod, "Not yet young man. Don't be in a hurry, first settle in life, then ask me." He looked at Sharu laughing her heart out at Ishaan's jokes at a Try not to laugh challenge,"If you ask me, you might not get her hand in marriage even if I want you as my Alludu. She should like you too."
Then I turn to Uncle, "Mavayya garu, be fixed that I will be your Alludu."
Then we had dinner. Btw, Indeever is in Kakinada, right? I should bring him here some time.
Srimayi looks up from her plate, "Akka has told me that your major is Analytical Chemistry, right? How is it Anna? Can you give me some advice as I am planning to go it as my major?"
I smiled and answered all her questions.
"Thanks Anna!" She smiled, which was the first time since she had come here.
Rudyash added that Srimayi only smiles near the people she likes.
It kinda made me feel special.
"Tomorrow we will have a small training session," announced Irasvan uncle as he stood up, "Be up early!"
Then we return to the room, this time Aarush joined our den. Aarush and Rudyash slept immediately.
"Ishaannnn~" I chirped as he rolled his eyes.
"What lover boy?" He face played himself.
"I think Irasvan uncle gave me that green light to be his Alludu!" I replied.
"What the heck!" He immediately turned to me, " you got her father's approval, you lucky fellow! Now sleep!"
Then we drifted to the tune of the sleep goddess.
(Manduva is an open space in middle of a traditional Telugu house . Mavayya garu means Father in law, Alludu means Son in law in Telugu. Murmura is puffed rice.)
