For a brief moment, last night's lesson flashed through the two Slytherins' minds.
"If you can win, then act."
"If you can't win, stop wasting time showing off."
"And if you want revenge…"
"Wait until you're strong enough."
The two boys shivered violently.
Then, to everyone's complete disbelief—
They hurried forward and began helping Fred and George straighten their robes.
"Your robes are really old," one of them said awkwardly. "I'll buy you new ones later."
"Really, don't mention it."
"We're classmates after all."
Fred and George froze completely.
The twins stared at them for several long seconds before George finally spoke weakly.
"…Sorry?"
The two Slytherins immediately waved their hands in panic.
"No, no, no!"
"It's our fault for blocking the corridor!"
"We should apologise!"
The surrounding students were utterly dumbfounded.
Even the Ravenclaws watching nearby looked stunned.
After a long silence, one Ravenclaw girl whispered:
"What happened to Slytherin?"
"When did they become this polite?"
Another girl nodded thoughtfully.
"Honestly… Gryffindors suddenly seem much more annoying."
"Why are they always fighting in the corridors?"
"Exactly," someone else added. "I hope Filch catches them all."
A Gryffindor student nearby suddenly scoffed.
"Filch? He's just a Squib."
Instantly, several students frowned.
The Ravenclaw girl from earlier looked disgusted.
"That's incredibly rude."
"Why are Gryffindors always like this?"
The surrounding crowd immediately began arguing among themselves.
Meanwhile, the two Slytherins stood there completely stunned.
Since entering Hogwarts, they had never experienced students defending them before.
Not once.
At that moment, something inside them shifted slightly.
Sean watched quietly from nearby and nodded in satisfaction.
Then he turned to leave.
Unfortunately—
A cold voice suddenly sounded behind him.
"So."
"Are you planning to educate all my students into becoming harmless sheep?"
Sean's body stiffened instantly.
He turned around sharply.
And his pupils contracted violently.
Severus Snape stood directly behind him.
Sean hadn't sensed him approaching at all.
Not even the slightest magical fluctuation.
Sean's heart sank slightly.
"So I'm still too weak…"
"Detecting Hart only worked because he never concealed his magic around me."
"But Snape…"
Sean finally realised the true gap between himself and top-tier wizards.
No matter how mature his mind was, his body and magical ability still belonged to a first-year student.
Sean quickly recovered his composure.
Without turning fully around, he answered calmly:
"You can ask them yourself how I'm teaching them."
"I have class now, Professor."
Then he walked away directly.
Snape silently watched Sean's departing figure.
For some reason, his expression gradually became darker.
Finally, he turned toward the two trembling Slytherins.
"What exactly did Sean Sebastian tell you?"
The two boys instantly froze.
"He… he said…"
"If we can't win… we shouldn't provoke people…"
"And if we want revenge…"
"We should wait until we're capable."
Snape fell silent for several seconds.
Then he slowly narrowed his eyes.
"Interesting."
The two students cautiously swallowed.
"Professor… may we leave?"
Truthfully, they held absolutely no expectations of Snape rescuing them anymore.
After all—
Last night, Sean had practically ruled the entire Slytherin common room in front of Snape himself.
And Snape had done nothing.
Clearly, even the Head of Slytherin didn't want to provoke that little monster.
Snape finally nodded calmly.
"Go to class."
"You're already late."
Only after the boys disappeared did Snape quietly rub his chin.
"If you can win, then act…"
"What an interesting theory."
…
Meanwhile, Sean had already arrived outside his first class of the day.
Transfiguration.
The moment he entered the classroom, he immediately noticed the cat sitting calmly atop the professor's desk.
Sean walked forward without hesitation.
Then he bowed slightly toward the cat.
"A very elegant Animagus transformation, Professor."
After speaking, he calmly sat beside Draco.
Draco immediately handed over Sean's textbook with perfect obedience.
The surrounding students looked utterly confused.
Several of them instinctively stared at the cat again.
A few minutes later—
The classroom door suddenly burst open.
Harry and Ron rushed inside while gasping heavily.
"Hah… we made it…"
Ron looked toward the empty podium and immediately relaxed.
"Can you imagine how terrifying Professor McGonagall would look if she caught us late?"
Several students instantly began laughing strangely.
Ron looked confused.
The next moment—
The cat leapt gracefully from the desk.
Mid-air, it transformed directly into Professor McGonagall herself.
She landed perfectly before Ron and Harry.
Ron's face turned green instantly.
"That was brilliant, Professor."
Professor McGonagall's expression remained icy.
"Thank you for the compliment, Mr Weasley."
"Perhaps I should transform you and Mr Potter into pocket watches."
"At least then you might arrive on time."
Harry quickly explained awkwardly:
"We got lost, Professor."
McGonagall turned calmly back toward the podium.
"Then perhaps I should transform you into maps instead."
"Gryffindor loses ten points."
"Take your seats."
At that exact moment, an angry voice suddenly sounded from the classroom.
